I'm with this fine tender. The thing is, she is not you. There is only one thing I want around the head of my, I just can't get the thought of you out of my mind.

When she wakes, what shall I do? I just want to go home. You won't be there, but you were. I'd rather be in a room that you were in than one any other woman is in because I have no room in my heart for anyone else but you.

27 dolphins were captured from the waters of the Solomon Islands -- 2 have died so far. 25 remain in captivity, and the longer they stay there, the odds increase dramatically that they'll die before they can be freed.

These dolphins have been taken from their natural habitat and held captive, their lives endangered by a hotel chain.

The dolphin tank at the hotel in question (Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore) hasn't even been built yet. Since half of all captured dolphins die within their first two years of captivity, it would seem that Resorts World simply captured more dolphins than necessary to see how many of them would still be around by the time they were needed.

In the wild, dolphins have a life expectancy of 45 years, and they can swim 40-100 miles a day. They spend half their time hunting for food, which is important for their mental stimulation.
In tanks, dolphins swim around in circles. They can't hunt. They're exposed to bacteria that have been known to cause blindness and death.

Ric O'Barry used to train Flipper –– yes, that Flipper –– but he's now a staunch anti-captivity activist. O'Barry wrote an open letter to the CEO of Resorts World Sentosa which read, "We know the people of Singapore love dolphins.

Most Singaporeans would object to keeping dolphins in captivity if they knew the dangers to the dolphins and the horrific capture practices of the Solomon Islands and other dolphin capture countries."

Here's the good news: Resorts World is sensitive to public pressure. Two years ago, the company abandoned plans for a whale shark exhibit after community outcry. 25 dolphins are depending on us to achieve the same result today.

Please sign the petition to tell Resorts World Sentosa to free the 25 dolphins being held captive in the Philippines:

Thanks for taking action,

We are in 1879.

William "Bat" Masterson, the sheriff of Ford Country, Kansas, has been voted out of office, since his accounts show $4,000 spent on the care and feeding of prisoners over the last five months.

As there were only seven jailbirds in his care, citizens refuse to believe public funds have been properly spent. The sum could hardly been reached by serving the rogues unlimited turtle soup and caviar!

Yet only last year, Masterson led one of the West's most successful posses, bringing in James "Spike" Kennedy, heir to the massive King Ranch in Texas, for the murder of dance-hall hostess Dora Hand.

Dora was the leading madam of Dodge City, and the mistress of Mayor James "Dog" Kelley. Kennedy became infatuated with her, and after paying her lavish attention, was thrown out of the Alhambra saloon by the jealous mayor.

Kennedy vowed revenge, and crept up on the mayor's wooden house at night to fire bullets through the wall into the bedroom. By Great misfortune, Dora, "the Queen of the Fairybelles" (as Dodge romantically names its harlots) was sleeping there alone, and the bullets struck her, killing her instantly.

Masterson took his good friend Wyatt Earp and several other gunslingers to trail the murderer, and when they saw him in the distance, the sheriff succeeded in knocking him off his horse with an excellent rifle shot Earp then shot the horse.

Kennedy was taken back to Dodge, much chastened to learn that he had shot his lady-love and not her keeper. But his father's money hired lawyers who won him acquittal.

It is little sad that, after such a success, one of the very few western lawmen who can fire a gun to useful effect has been exposed in lawlessness.

Juliette, thank you though I don't know that there's much to envy, he hasn't posted here in months. But we all know that I still think about him, I can't lie about that. He is clearly a tough act to follow.

Irene, thanks for checking it out. I will tell you - you, your mother-in-law and whoever else that uses the Klass Vaki KBS2000 will be a changed person, getting your zzzz's is everything (your surroundings are everything, too, though, you can appreciate it better when you're rested).

I wrote here last August about a 'life changer' project that I was working on but I needed to gather info/sort the research - read volumes of testimonials, and most importantly, use it myself and I did/do use it everynight for a year now, even when I'm away...read the info/watch the videos and I will tell you another group of peeps who will love it, singles, bc it holds you like a lover's arms. What could be sweeter?
