Where’s your weekly gay event? Maybe I will show up. There aren’t too many weekly lesbian events that I’m aware of in the North Bay. But there was a great turn out Saturday night for the dance at the Barge in Sausalito. Were you there?

I see no downside to letting the significant other in your life know that you are not predisposed to laying down and spreading your legs for his enjoyment if he is going to be an asshole to you.

When I make love, as opposed to just fucking for pleasure, my mind, with all the emotions and feelings I have about my partner come with it, is involved.

I couldn’t experience those feelings if I was angry with him, and I certainly wouldn’t assume he would expect me to. We both know how to masturbate.

Wayne/Clark, good for you for coming on here to say what you did. I think almost everyone knows that when anger is expressed it’s usually hurt in disguise, it’s so much easier to just say I’m PO’d rather than say out loud, ‘your words and actions sting my whole gender and I wish you could spend a month as a female and get that’.

& in true ZL form I would also say that I am vehemently opposed with using sex as a reward/withholding tool (pun unintended though funny) in my opinion that objectifies me and my sweet spot, and besides, why would i forgo my own pleasure bc my man is acting like an ass temporarily (if he’s of permanent ass stature, he won’t be lying next to me anyway).

There are better methods of expressing angst though there’s absolutely nothing more communicative than some angry sex, he’ll understand you loud and clear and his receptors for listening are open wide in the post-coital state. Think Mata Hara tapping for info or in this case, imparting some female wisdom : ) Just my two and I don’t expect anyone to agree with me and I imagine it will ignite a few of you, and you will each do what you do and I will do as I do. So be it…that’s the beauty of being unique humans, we get to think/act and react differently from each other.

…as far as male bashing, well, there is some of that here though it gets annoying to have to preface everything you say with ‘….not all men but some/most…’ depending on the statement. I’d rather bash the doctrine that allows them to believe they’re just upholding some law handed down from on high, there I will definitely throw down the BS card.

And on that note, I’m so happy ‘Saving Faces’ won best documentary last night. Men should be REQUIRED to watch this movie, then maybe you’d understand what Mischa’s points are even better.
