She doesn’t walk. She treats mother earth to a titillating rapture of heel-toe as she glides along turning heads, men and women alike, in her wake. Coming or going she is a marvel to behold.

I lust for the privilege mother earth has; it gets to feel the naked touch of her feet in its sands and the rat-tat-tat tease of her high heels on it sidewalks.

I watch with envy as she glides effortlessly through mother earth’s atmosphere, oblivious to the planet and the rest of us, paying silent homage to her grace and beauty.

Oh, to be the man that closes his eyes to fall asleep with dreams of his last glimpse of her only to be blessed with her vision upon awaking.

To be able to toss the covers over his head and inhale the aroma of her body after she has spent a night asleep in their bed.

What bargain did he make with the Heavens for such pleasure?
