Zen Lill, I wouldn't do it because I wouldn't want it done to me. It is like asking if you would peep into a window and watch an unsuspecting person undress, bathe or use the toilet.

The same people who said they would invade the privacy of others without a second thought would be livid it they were spied upon while doing many or all of the above activities.

Who are they to decide how violated another person should or should not feel if their privacy was invaded?

I might not mind being observed by a peeping tom but be terribly upset at having my mail read or my phone conversations monitored or being followed however it was done.

No one has the right to predetermine how far he or she can go in invading another's privacy.

If you are willing to invade or condone the invasion of the privacy of another, don't be surprised when the shoe is on the other foot.

And don't expect to be understood when you say, "but that was going too far." What is "going too far" to one person maybe considered just a start in the invasion of of that person's privacy to the invader.

Go ahead open up that can of worms. Only the sick, the sociopath, or the perverted are going to benefit by that attitude. Those of us who have some boundaries will always lose because they will never be respected once this type of behavior becomes the acceptable norm.

We need to push our legislators to write and enact laws that protect potential victims and to deter the inventors and sellers of such invasive equipment.

Anything less will only encourage the depraved to act with depravity.

Guam - The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) has released the Guam Guidebook. It covers everything from our rich Chamorro culture to our heritage, food, and even historical landmarks that make our island unique. It is a valuable tool for visitors to use while planning their trip to Guam.
“Guam has many attractions to offer our visitors and we are happy to provide this guidebook to them,” Guam Visitors Bureau General Manager Joann G. Camacho said. “It is without a doubt that these attractions from the historical, natural and man-made will make for that unique experience our visitors are looking for.”

Maps can be found throughout the book, particularly in the Sightseeing & Landmarks section, which offers a detailed listing of WWII sites, favorite beaches, and other Guam hot-spots that may be of interest to visitors.

The book also features a listing of many hotels, restaurants, scenic spots, shopping, and transportation options, along with other members of the Guam Visitors Bureau.

“We encourage our residents to take a look at the guidebook and share it with their off-island friends, families, and business associates who are planning or thinking of visiting our island,” Camacho added.

To view the Guam Guidebook and the GVB Membership listing, please visit: http://visitguam.org/Pages/Downloads.aspx

To attain a hardcopy, please stop by GVB’s Office in Tumon.

It is so good for some of us who have lived here all our lives and never checked out what is here.
