I did not become a person I was happy to see when I looked into a mirror until I made my peace with him.

He was a white friend that I felt I could not afford to have any more. I realized that friends don’t come in color they come in hearts. Some are big and some are extra big.

Dan had heart. He did not always agree with me on political or religious issues but he had heart. I am the god father for his 4 children. He and his wife died in a car crash 3 years ago.

I lost some close(I thought black friends) because they did not understand why I spent my money on taking care of 4 white boys.
When so many black kids needed.

I could not explain that there is never enough love to go around, but we have to do what we can.

I used to tune into fox ‘just to see what they were saying’ and I understand your point, see both sides, etc…but seriously, fox does unprecedented spin doctoring on whatever etch-a-sketch idiocy they last spouted, Rush is just a running of the mouth ‘made for radio entertainment’ version of it. I gather the facts as presented, look up what seems unclear and take note that often rethugs could use a rethink.
