He seemed frozen in place for quite a while. He, even more than West, has continuusly criticized the President ever since he was proved wrong about the President when he chose to support Hillary instead.

Rather than admitting they miscalculated, Smiley and West have doubled down, and now you can see their discomfort when the right tries to enlist them to help jab the President.

This whole “poverty tour” thing was hatched as a way to get at the President. I predicted last summer when I heard about the tour that after the tour they would disappear for awhile to write their poverty book. And Bingo! Here it is!

But I’m not pretending to be some kind of soothsayer. I think it was one of the most predictable things I’ve ever said.
