Bin Laden was our common enemy – he didn’t just target Republicans or Democrats or Independents. He targeted Americans. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

The attacks of 9/11 briefly brought us together as a nation as in the days of World War II. And now all you can do is find ways to denigrate this defining event?

Comments about the golf course are way out of line. He’s the President, not G.I. Joe, and his job is Commander in Chief. not a SEAL team leader.

His job was to make the decision taking all relevant information into consideration, not lead the mission with a knife in his teeth, and set events in motion.

The result was a victory for all American people, and especially as closure for those who lost loved ones in 9/11. But no – you folks gotta keep at the hate-filled rhetoric that has divided this country.

Grow up and learn that the concept of “loyal opposition” has its place in American politics. Learn to disagree without hate for those fellow citizens who may belong to a different political party than yourself, but be able to join in thanks when one of our common enemies is taken out.

Death in itself is not necessarily the desirable solution. But it may have been the only one. The hateful immaturity and self absorption is astonishing.

A view from across the pond : I have noted all the doom and gloom in most of the comments on this subject, and frankly when you really compare the differences that have taken place since Bush left office in January 2009, it is remarkable as world conditions have been poor everywhere. The Dow Jones Index was 7949 and today it is at it’s highest level for seven year at over 13,250. The Manufacturing Index also showed a greater improvement than expected, jobs have been created every month for the last two years.
If the Republicans have a better plan then they should share it now, but the simple truth is they would not have done any better, in fact maybe even worse, so lets not pretend any more.

I am tired of my friends comparing George W. Bush to President Obama. They are so dishonest when they claim they believe that Obama only got Bin Laden because of what GWB did.

Obama is like a General where GWB is like a Buck Private who likes war becuas he played it in his back yard. There has never been a more disenegaged President in the history of this nation that hillbilly George W.
His biggest concern was always, “What are the bike trails like in Germany”

GWB was a figurehead at best for first 6 years of Pres and Romney is surrounded by the same idiotic people that ruined this country and ruined the Repub Party for a generation unless they cleanse it of the ignorance and money.

Today’s republican mantra went out with powdered wigs wing nuts.
