Amanda, I read your story and tears sprang to my eyes. I'm sorry about your loss, you were 14, there's no way you could know that it might've put your mom at risk. I feel for you. - Zen Lill

All of the talking heads on Fox deemed the President's appearance on Jimmy Fallon's show undignified and unpresidential.

Since presidents have been appearing on late night television for years, their real objection is fairly transparent. After all, all that hip-hop stuff is so, well, black.

This week's Human Events is chock full of content that is showcased this morning below. To start:

•	John's profile of Rep. Paul Ryan for Veepstakes 2012 is the cover story. The Wisconsin congressman has been at the forefront of most of the veep talk for the past week or so, and John's profile looks at his role on the Budget Committee as the key to balancing a Romney ticket.
•	As you know, Audrey moved from covering all of Capitol Hill to focusing specifically on energy and environment issues. Environmental organizations, more often than not, are always in the news for using their power to create unnecessary bureaucracy and red tape for all Americans. This time, the Forest Service has a potential 'explosive' situation developing high in the Colorado Rockies. Mooooooove down and find out!
•	The latest column from our Debunker, Mark LaRochelle, is live this morning, too. Mark looks at the stale Democratic talking point that the Bush tax cuts are behind the economic malaise gripping the country. As always, Mark's facts and figures are spot on and, as you can guess, he blows that talking point up as bunk.

Also, on the eve of the one year anniversary of Osama bin Laden's death, contributor Bob Maginnis looks at the world since OBL's death.

And finally, Steven Greenhut looks at the recent University of Southern California study that finds California's growth rate has slowed to a crawl. Many demographers and state leaders see this as a good thing (they argue that they'll "have more time to prepare for a bigger population than they did in years past, allowing for more effective planning"), but Steven realizes that this slowdown can only mean one thing: The California Dream is dead.

Make sure to look at the quick links from around the web, too. Happy Monday!
