• The latest column from our Debunker, Mark LaRochelle, is live this morning, too. Mark looks at the stale Democratic talking point that the Bush tax cuts are behind the economic malaise gripping the country. As always, Mark’s facts and figures are spot on and, as you can guess, he blows that talking point up as bunk.

Also, on the eve of the one year anniversary of Osama bin Laden’s death, contributor Bob Maginnis looks at the world since OBL’s death.

And finally, Steven Greenhut looks at the recent University of Southern California study that finds California’s growth rate has slowed to a crawl. Many demographers and state leaders see this as a good thing (they argue that they’ll “have more time to prepare for a bigger population than they did in years past, allowing for more effective planning”), but Steven realizes that this slowdown can only mean one thing: The California Dream is dead.
