wow, Sarah, I could not have said that better, and that should end the voices of men on the subject, the 'Jack's' will find something to say about 'life' and it's sacredness (while they busily kick it in the lazzzyboy). - ZL

My sister is a hero,my parents were very proud of what she has done. I am proud. It is sad that a woman, young girl has to face a mob of strangers yelling at her,at a time when her personal choice to terminate a pregnancy has probably been a tough choice to make. This decision should be between a woman ,God, and the doctor.

Women like my sister have fought for women's,rights since the 1960's.
My mother knew how important reproductive freedom was, crucial, and before her death she was saddened that young women today did not appreciate what those before had done to pave the way to assure that reproductive freedom would remain safe, available, accessible and private.

Regardless of what you personally feel about abortion, you should not judge what others do. My sister has helped many at a time when they had nowhere else to turn. It is unreal that the citizens of Mississippi have elected such scary men to control their destiny.

I really think men should stop involving themselves in anything regarding pregnancy. You don't have to carry a baby for 9 months, you don't have to go through the physical and emotional change, you don't have to watch your career fall apart, or end up doing all of the child rearing and housework. Pregnancy doesn't affect your life at all and rearing children has a minimum affect on your life.

How many men barely help out a home? How many men with wives that work full time jobs and work as hard as him barely help out at home? I can tell you how many plenty. You want women to not get abortions then make it where they are not completely drained of life. Make it where they don't feel hopeless and exhausted as if there is no one to help.Make it where they don't lose everything and have to crumble up all their dreams.

Majority of the fathers protesting abortions do the bare minimum for their kids, they go to work and they come home and to them that is enough.

They shout to their full time working wives that they work 10 hours days and can't be bothered to help out, yet she works too and does all of the housework, child rearing and cooking after she's off from work. You instead come home and kick your feet up and get lost in King of the Hill episodes.

People say women have options and the truth is we really don't have option that don't come without lots of pain. Making the choice to have an abortion is hard.

Many women choose this because they know that the father like most men is not going to participate as much as he should and her life will become harder while the father has the benefit of being the parent with no worries.

Sacrifices are part and parcel with parenthood but for the mother they are great and many. You never bounce back from them. Get corporate America and colleges across the world to offer free child care so that the mothers can continue in their careers and not be stuck being "just the housewife" who the husband and the rest of the society sees as no value and women will stop aborting their kids.

The world is not and has not given women options that are good. No matter what women do it is bad. If they are purposefully child-free and make the choice to never have kids, you are bad and selfish because you can give life but won't.

If you have a kid and become a housewife to raise that kid, you are leeching off your supporting husband and not intelligent. If you have a kid and decide to go back to work, you are bad because you should be home raising your kid and are passing them off to strangers to be raised. It goes on and on and on and on...GIVE US BETTER OPTIONS!!!!!!!!
