While the GOP keeps harping on the President’s unfulfilled promises, many so because of GOP obstruction, the GOP certainly isn’t slacking in presenting very big claims of what they purport to accomplish IF winning the election.

As we know, promising is what pols do, right? Way too easy to make, not easy to follow through most of the time (hardly ever!).

I heard an evidently conservative woman talking openly on national radio saying she can’t look at Michelle and doesn’t like all the stuff she’s doing, distrusts a black president (racism talking?) .

Not liking fighting obesity, getting folks to eat more healthfully, not like speaking up about education, not wanting the middle class to get a fairer shake instead of the 1% being advantaged by a rigged tax system? Yes, that’s the GOP party line, lady . Booo!!

Honolulu – Sexual assault charges have been filed against Dennis Henry, a male nurse at the Kwajalein Hospital in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a crew member of the Guam based USCG Cutter “Sequoia”.

According to a release issued by the Honolulu FBI office, Henry was arrested this past Saturday in the Marshall Islands and has been transported back to Hawaii to face a charge of aggravated sexual abuse.

The alleged assault occurred on March 25th. Henry is accused of knowingly administering the drug Ambien to the “Sequoia” crew member, identified as “G.C.”, who was on liberty while the cutter was docked at an Army base on Kwajalein Atoll.

Ambien is a medication used to treat insomnia. It is also a muscle relaxant in addition to its sleep inducing effects. Its impact is “enhanced when used in combination with alcohol.”

According to the FBI affidavit, Henry told investigators that the sex was consensual, but denied administering Ambien to “GC”.

“G.C.” admitted he was intoxicated, but denied taking Ambien and denied ever engaging in “consensual sex with any other male.” Laboratory tests found the presence Ambien in his system.

Special Agent Ford states in his affidavit that “probable cause exists that, Dennis Henry .. did knowingly administer … without the permission of G.C. .. Ambien, and thereby substantially impaired the ability of G.C. to control his conduct and did thereby knowingly engage in a sexual act.”
