Henry, thank you for saying that, that's very sweet.

Gail, that's a perfect solution, go work within your congregations if your religious beliefs are so strong. Agreed!

My initial reaction to Romney's response is that it wasn't the worst that it could have been, but it definitely did not show any sort of "pulling together for the good of the country".

Republicans/conservatives have been, pretty much from day one, screaming about how bad this President is, how he is ruining the country and taking us into Muslim socialism (whatever that might be).

I mean, the country *is* in pretty bad shape, but instead of trying to work with the President we see vote after vote along party lines.

Issue after issue, whether it is economic or the killing of Ambassador Stevens, the Republicans just seem to want to make things worse.

Politicians take an oath to serve the people, not an oath to serve their religious beliefs. Any politician that can't separate their duties to the people they serve from their duties to their own religion should not be allowed to hold a political office.

They should be stripped of their political office immediately, forfeit their pensions, lose any taxpayer paid health care benefits, and barred from holding any public office again.

I think we need to start suing these politicians. Let them defend themselves against a lawsuit out of their own pockets and maybe they'll finally get the idea.

If they have such strong religious convictions, then they should serve in their own churches.
