Christie realizes Mitt is done and knows he is the best shot of taking back the white house. After the tea party gets beat watch as more moderate Republicans appear and take control. Then the government will start working as moderates on both sides work for what is bestfor us not themselves.

Christie and Obama together in New Jersey with the governor heaping praise on the president. Christie’s me speech at the convention. Looks to me like Christie wants to be president and the hell with Romney and Ryan.

Those images of the president with the governor will be handy in the future. Photos with Rmoney…not so much. Christie knows that BS that comes from the mouth of Romney.

Who in their right mind would ask the Governor to appear with Mitt, when his state is a disaster area? Mitt hasn’t a clue what these people are going through! Thank God he’s not President he would be afraid to get in that cold and mud for fear he would dirty his hands, freeze, or muddy his shoes!

A quadruple win for Christie:

1. Manages to look bipartisan;
2. A real hero of the people;
3. Solving an actual problem (mentioning this because it’s got to be a first for a Republican), AND
4. Screwing Romney in 2012 so Christie has a clean path to 2016.

If he weren’t so hilariously transparent, I’d give Christie a point for craftiness. Not that I’m actually complaining, of course. Merely amused that we’re watching a historical election strategy that actually required more than one line of thought here. Another GOP first.
