		<description><![CDATA[Ari, my counterpoint is that the four gospels tend to eschew the bulk of the misogyny and that later additions such as Paul&#039;s letters or many translations are where it stems from. Take Augustine, for example...his writings are incredibly influential - even to non-Catholics who have maybe never heard of him - and affect the doctrine and dogma of many today.

If we loop this back to Islam, the same thing seems to be going on with local, tribal, or other cultural interpolations being the cause for many of the problems that many people these days wind up perceiving as being intrinsic.

It is simply all about men, using religion to own women and keep them in servitude.]]></description>
