#10 Talibah, I once picked up and transported a woman that had a story very similar to yours, 23 and could never see her kids again bc her ‘husband’ of 50+ beat her and she had to run for her life, so sad and insane.
I agree, no oil should be purchased by the West until that stops, period. No excuse, religious or cultural.

URGENT: Tell Your Reps to Defund NSA Spying

This afternoon the House of Representatives is voting on an amendment to the defense authorization bill that would defund the NSA’s massive domestic spying programs.1

Call your representative NOW in support of the ‘Amash Amendment’ to defund the NSA’s dragnet surveillance programs.

It’s been a month since we learned about the NSA’s domestic spying program. A major bi-partisan effort to rein in the surveillance state is under way and passing this amendment would be an important step in doing just that.

I agree. Etka the western world supports catholicism for two reasons;

1. individually, men do it because it empowers them to feel superior to females.

2. Women do it because it is supposed to provide a path to God in Heaven.
It’s a shame that none of these people ask what kind of god would condone one half of His/Her/children using the worship of Her/Him to suppress the other half.

And more importantly why would a god allow an admittedly flawed human being to be the sole conduit to a seat in Heaven.

I can’t understand intelligent human beings believing that another human being can “excommunicate” them thereby denying them access to the “body and blood” of Christ or a place in Heaven along side the god they have so dutifully worshipped for years.
