Kevin, thanks for asking after me, just returning from being semi-disconnected for a few weeks. Luv'd it, it retrained everyone not to expect immediate communication or anything else from me, may need to do that every 6 months...

Mischa, I wonder if women sometimes (not always, before anyone runs amok with what I'm saying) don't leave money on the table when they are negotiating their income? I researched this for a blog post about 4 years ago and found that women were more 'hesitant' to negotiate hard for income, I think that hesitancy will start to rectify itself as women become more comfortable with running their personal financial show. I could be wrong. Though the article did say women were more 'hesitant' than males to move ahead with home buying (it is a big endeavor, I can understand that, and likely wouldn't recommend the hassle unless you need the tax breaks) and I don't know the stats on men/women qualifying for loans either but I'd love to know...is it possible that extra $1400 a yr makes them a better bet, it would seem an insignificant amount...feels like I need a few more details on this one....

I saw that 7 minute exercise routine and wanted to chunk that down for MM BABES that are following the 'reset your number' (clothing size or that scale # though muscle weighs more, keep that in mind...) my one caveat with jumping jacks is that few people do them in perfect form so I'm going to say - pass - unless you can do it in perfect form (as described) though walking in place seems like a better way to escalate your heart rate.

Add the 'wall sits' - stand with your back against the wall, bend your knees and slide down till you thighs are parellel to the floor, hold the position for 30 seconds. (I'll add, hold in your tummy and squeeze in your tush while doing this, and after 30 seconds, slide slowly up the wall and do it 4x's more, then work up to 10x's...

Add the side plank - lie on your side and one forearm is under your shoulder, your upper leg directly over the lower leg, knees staright. Raise your hips up till your body forms a straight line from ankles to shoulder, hold for 30 seconds and repeat on other side. (add 4x's more to both sides and work your way up to 10x's on either side)

that's all I'd add in for now...both are great for your core area so be sure to breath and bring your awareness to the areas you are breathing and squeezing.

Pic a picture of yourself or someone with a similar body style and put it on your fridge, too. It's helpful just befiore you go foraging around in there to look at your vision for yourself. It can be very motivating for some, if that isn't a tactic that would motivate please do not employ it that's counter productive to your progress. & do that 'I love you, (name)' exercise at least 2x's a week IF you've finally had a loving breakthrough, if you haven't yet do it daily.

Hope you're all caught up on the other exercises that came prior to these two and let me know if you need a review and/or need a question answered &/or anyone lose some weight/gain some tone they want to talk about yet? Caroline+4, et al...anything else you'd like? I'll be back this later this/early next week with some words on 'looks/body image' and recipes...

Luv, Zen Lill

PS Mischa, may need to supply you with some new pics, went shopping in NYC ; )

ProtectAmericanJobs
It shouldn't be all about Democrats or Republicans! It should be about doing the right thing for our country and the majority of its citizens. I consider myself an independent voter, but going back to the Reagan days and with the only exception having been Perot, I’ve always voted Republican. But all this single-minded, left versus right, ideological one dimensional bull has got to go! This is the problem with our country. It shouldn't be about Democrats or Republicans! It should be about Americans, especially our elected officials, doing the right thing for our country and its citizens.

Both parties have sold out the bulk of the American citizens, who they're supposed to represent, by allowing the "out-sourcing" floodgates to open wider and wider without taking any sensible measures to stem the tide. (Under Clinton jobs to China, Under Bush I & II influx of illegals or cheap easily abused labor into the US and jobs to Mexico/NAFTA) Our leaders are elected by the Citizens of the United States of America to represent the interests of those citizens and the country itself. They are NOT elected by the Global Market Place or foreign citizens!

We need our elected officials to Start Protecting American Jobs and do whatever it takes to bring back the jobs they let go. We need leaders who will actually stand up for the American people.

We need common sense by the voter. All political parties are NOT equally responsibility for our present woes. If you can not arrive at that then your vote is meaningless because you will continue to vote a party line.

Our leaders may be elected by the American voters, but those voters are influenced by foreign money courtesy of STARK of SCOTUS who voted in favor of Citizens United. Unlimited money has made our candidates whores for those with unlimited money to contribute to a campaign. That is a fact. If it is ignored it will eventually destroy the principle of one person one vote.

If a party is dedicated to obstructing the other party without regard to the harm it can cause the Nation and its people, the voter has to be willing to make a choice at the polls.
