Rachel, I agree but we've got lots of dopey white women under the influence (of religion, of money supplied by their rethug hubbies, of apathy, of ignorance) and men have used this parenthetic knowledge against the rest of us...if they keep enough white women under the influence we cannot gather the steam necessary to make change, period. We need a more informative (to women under the influence) strategy to raise awareness without judgement. There are a lot of people, many of them women, out there just trying to work and survive and don't have time to research truth perhaps (or am I cutting too much slack??) anyway, there's got to be a way to snap them out of this mass hypnosis, yes? Mischa, any ideas?

Zen Lill, you have made a very good point. Men in countries where they are small in the pants are the most violent towards their women.

Others have simply learned to treat women as commodity to be used in warfare. The men who follow the sick creeps are promised all the women they can rape.

I see this as an issue like WMDs. If men can make it a UN resolution not to be use with the threat of military action to stop them, then the rape and abuse of women can be just such an issue.

I would love to see Obama send battle ships to countries that allow armies to rape and torture women as a matter of course of their war.

Rachel, you have had the experience that I am now getting. Why white women won't form a united front is beyond me. The need is more than apparent.
