Barbara, I think Josh handed Snead the what for on yesterday’s topic, I live when people (& usually but not always men) like to pick and choose who’s been naughty or nice and/or want to choose who gets health care for what diseases or conditions. Please. Give it a rest. I did love someone’s suggestion (forgive me I forget your name and number) that suggested that men take out insurance for what is known legally as ‘assumed risk’ so agree with that. An eye for an eye equality (as much as us possible) style of insuring.

Beverly & Olga, thank you but until I hear from the commander I’m still feeling like a jack (& as though I was in a fugue state) ugh…trying to let myself get past it. I can only hope she does.

And if you mean we’ll look like other non-free countries by removing religion from our society, therefore removing widespread prejudice, and giving rights to people that they ought to be entitled to anyway, then yes. very “non-free”.
