Did you ever think about the India race?
It was the white man who took his place

They killed the buffalo and took a stand,
The the Indian was driven fron his land.

For many years these hills, he did roam,
America was the Indians home.

This palace wasn’t called Ameria then,
But it was home to the women and men.

I feel that it’s wrong to push them aside,
The Indian race still has great pride.

They only killed buffalo for something to eat,
And used the skin to makd mossaciss for their feet.

Their clothes too, were made of skin,
As well as the wigwam they lived in.

The redskins are another race,
But in Aerica they should have their place.

This land is big enough for all to share,
Let’s remember the Indians in our prayer.

Now I’m white and proud to be,
But perhaps there’s a little Indian blood in me.

My people were enslaved for over 400 years, but we don’t use it as a crutch or excuse. We’ve moved on and African Americans should do the same.
