Don't Let Diabetes Make You Go Blind!
Did you know that diabetes is the leading cause of blindness in adults? It's a fact.
Most cases of diabetic blindness are caused by cataracts or diabetic retinopathy. And both these conditions are caused by a nasty enzyme called aldose reductase.
This enzyme causes your blood to clump up, which can cause damage to the blood vessels in the retina. It also converts blood sugar to a substance called sorbitol, which builds up on the lens of your eye and leads to cataracts.
Fortunately, there's a natural remedy that reduces the aldose reductase enzyme. That remedy is quercetin, a bioflavonoid found in apples, onions, and berries.
Several studies prove that quercetin works. One study found that it reduces aldose reductase in the lens by half. Another study compared quercetin to drugs, and found it to be just as good at treating diabetic complications.
So if you're diabetic or prediabetic, get some quercetin from your local health food store. The recommended dose is 1,000 milligrams, 3 times a day.

Zen Lill

My sweet Zen Lill, as always, your comments are on point. And they are given with just the right touch of aahh. I feel the light caress of your words all over by body.

Training has been quite a learning experience for me. I now understand the meaning of "war is waged by old men with the lives of the young."

We are still on course for a Feb. start. But my body feels like it has been through hell already. I will be heading to a place to get first hand information on what chemistry can do for the health. The goal is to make the body the age of a 24 to 30 year old.

As for the crook Madoff, he was a gift from the bush deregulation. He was not the only one. There were many small time crooks who have so far gotten away with their crooked ponzi schemes.

The bush financial regulators were aware of these schemes and most of the schemers. Many of us who were approached, complained to them. They did nothing. It prevented us from getting many of our friends from taking our warnings seriously. They thought, as these charlatans suggested in their defense, that if the person was a crook, the government would have shut them down by now.

Many invested because they thought the Sec and other governmental regulatory agencies would have been investigating if Madoff was running a ponzi scheme.

The insult is that the government is now saying that the investors were "greedy." Implying that they had done their job, and that this was just an exception where people were trying to make unreal returns on their investments.

The irony is many of those that have lost everything were supporters of the RNC. I read Mark's statement above. He is so correct. I often wonder what the RNC would have to do for that 55% to realize that that party has sold out the country for profit.

The banks that bush gave 300 billion to have rewarded their top CEOs with more than a billion of that money in bonuses. They have used the rest of the money to buy up business and competitors that were not heavy RNC supporters. They have no intention of helping the middle class with their debts by using the money to loosen credit as the money was intended to be for.

When I say "intended," I mean what the Senate intended. The bush boys intended it to be used just as it is being used, to enrich their cronies at the expense of the rest of you. The banks are laughing that they were given all that money with no strings attached.

They own the credit card companies that are continuing to drive up their rates on users while the government has given them the lowest rates in history.

I am almost ashamed at the profit that I continue to make at the expense of those that are losing everything. I say "almost" because those fools continue to support my right to fleece them as long as I am white. I am white. So if 55% doesn't see anything wrong with me fleecing them, I guess it is my patriotic duty to continue.

I have learned that the bush boys have been seeding 60 Minutes with "scoops" that show that the government really isn't that bad. Basically they have managed to infiltrate the show to use it as apologist for their actions. My advice is to be suspect of stories that lead you to believe that the bush run government really wasn't that bad.

If the american people really find out what those crooks have done, they will be demanding criminal action against them. Never fear though that will not occur.

If I may, I would like to take some time to wish my Sweet and the rest of you out there a very merry christmas and I hope that it will be followed by a year that will bring you all that you want it to be. (Keep it legal, though)

Hi Mischa, I'll try you tomorrow afternoon, hopefully we can chat before the holiday, grabbed myself another job, hahaha, only bc a friend recommended me to her boss and I felt obligated to meet him, but I must say he is one of THE nicest people I've ever met and so why not? And I'm not in a position to turn down cash : )

Mark, you got it right with that last statement, the Repub boys who lack cajones will get to see what a man with a set acts like, even under tremendous pressure and truly shitty conditions. I wish him much luck redefining the game, someone has to do it, why not him.

I do wish there will be a day soon when the dialogue that includes 'one of his own kind' and all those other divisive sentiments will just go away, but I'm known to be a bit of a dreamer : ) and an edgy one at that, tee hee...

Enjoy the holiday week. I miss being here more also, but - have iPhone/have wireless/will comment ; )

Doug it is interesting that you like many object to Obama's choice of Rick Warren to lead the inaugural prayers but where were your objections when he was allowed to interview the two men who were vying for that office on national TV?

It would seem to me the time to make known that this was a flawed man was then. Once he was give that great honor, it becomes more than a bit hypocritical to say he can have the national spotlight for three plus hours with the entire nation, but it is "terrible" that he will get maybe 20 minutes for a prayer.

Which event do you think gave greater legitimacy to this anti-christ? Was it the national publicity that pre sued his being allowed to put his religious value questions to the two candidates for President or was it a few minutes to drop a prayer towards starting a Presidency?

Where were the gays when antii-Christ Rick proposed his self promotional event? The log-cabin gays for the RNC were silent and so were the other gays. More was made of a black woman being allowed to interview the two candidates than this anti-Christ hypocrite.

As far as I am concerned, it is a little late to bitch now. I think Obama is showing us in his own way how ridiculous it was to allow this creep to have such a grand stage.

I'm sure Obama was irritated that he was forced by us whites to be interviewed by one of our own because he posed no threat to us but his preacher was a pariah because he said something that offended us whites.

He in his clever way just threw the bullshit back into our faces. Now how can we object when he invites Rev. Wright to the White House, when he as ceremonially kissed our white anti-Christ's ass? Will we now be able to object to forgiving Rev. Wright?

Yes, white america, we had better get ready to experience in Presidential politics by this black man what another one did to golf, a redefining of the game.

Things Cancer Doctors Don't Know
Chemotherapy treatments were zapping Jerry of his energy and making him feel sick to his stomach.
Jerry felt like he was between a rock and a hard place. On one hand, he wanted to do everything he could to kill the cancer. On the other hand, he knew that chemotherapy batters the immune system. And this can destroy your body's ability to keep the cancer from coming back.
Luckily, a friend of Jerry's referred him to my practice. I knew what to recommend to Jerry because I'd been down the same road many times before with other cancer patients.
I told Jerry about an immune-boosting herb called astragalus. Although rarely used by oncologists in this country, astragalus is a mainstay in Japan and China, where doctors use it to protect people against the side effects of chemo.
And it's no wonder. Studies show that astragalus is a powerful immune-booster. In one study, researchers found that taking astragalus raises the body's level of interferon, a natural chemical that fights cancer and viruses. In another study, scientists found that astragalus increases T-cell function in the blood of cancer patients. In fact, their blood developed greater T-cell activity than blood taken from people who were cancer-free!
At my recommendation, Jerry started taking astragalus immediately. The next time I saw him, he reported that his cancer doctors were astonished at how well he tolerated his chemotherapy.
Best of all, Jerry is now cancer-free. And while only time will tell if he can continue to stay free of cancer, I believe his chances are good. That's because I've given astragalus to scores of patients and gotten excellent results.
Unfortunately, many doctors continue to be unaware of the beneficial effects of this herb. But that's no surprise. They're unaware of most natural remedies. That's why you have to take charge of your own health and learn everything you can about how to protect yourself
