Putin may not be a great guy, but he was asked by the legitimate leader of the Ukraine to bring soldiers in to keep the peace.

The US paid big money to orchestrate the unrest and riots in the Ukraine to destabilize the region for their own interest.

Putin like I said is no great person, but he is not foolish enough to give up the Crimea that has the largest Russian naval fleet and their main access to the black sea.
