Younger people, including myself, are abondoning suburbia because (1) it’s boring as hell, and (2) it creates all kinds of problems – health, environmental, and monetary to start with.

It’s too bad the generations before us were more concerned about the farce of perpetual growth than they were about the real problems (i.e. resource depletion) its progeny will be forced to face.
