I hope you take a minute to watch Jane Lynch's It Gets Better Video. It really does get better.

Hi Michelle:
Nice how Phoebe Dahl & Ruby Rose found away to make a buck and benifit the girls of Nepal simultaneously. This is the kind of thing most any type of business could do, IF they were so inclined. Helping others is not rocket science, all it takes is the will to do so.

Here is something that I found in my maibox this morning. I don't know about you, but I would prefer to buy produce that has not had it's appearance enhanced by some kind of paint job. Particularly by some chemicals that have been banned in Europe as they may be carcinogenic.

How much do you really know about those shiny apples and other beautiful-looking produce you pick up at your local grocery store?

For instance, did you know that most conventionally raised apples in the United States are drenched with diphenylamine (DPA)? That same chemical was banned in Europe in 2012 because its makers could not prove that it didn’t pose a risk to human health. Scary, huh?

At EWG, we believe that you deserve to know exactly what you’re eating and what effects it could have on your health. That’s why we’re calling on the EPA to take action to study DPA right now.

Ska #16 yesterday, agreed when the mass consciousness reaches a tipping point there will be change and it will likely seem radical when, in truth, it will have been coming for a long long time....(old white dudes with old ideas, bad attitudes and extreme -isms had better sleep with their eyes open : )

This is very cool and I luv the article, I have been working with teens (happened quite by accident, one parent of a client telling another) and suddenly I have young ears and they're so receptive to information...the girls esp about sex/drugs and losing focus at school, in life...helps to have involved parents but not everyone gets them, sad to say...

US readers, Enjoy the holiday weekend and do whatever you choose to honor the vets, Luv, Zen Lill
