The man who raped me was white, and the cops here are all white. I didn’t report it. I just told a few people I trusted. It helped, but I still feel scared, knowing he’s out there and that nobody would do anything about it.

Thank you Michelle, I suffer verbal harassment five days a week at my job. I am white but classism comes into play for me.

Men feel because I am poor they can get away with treating me badly at work. They know I need the job so they sexually harass me at will.

The women at my work who could speak up for me tell me to just put up with “men being men.”

You speak so wonderful about my situation. I wish you were one of my female superiors. You wouldn’t tell me about their hormones, you would get the bastards fired.
