Up until 2 days prior to her death Ms. Angelou was indexing at 84% positive in Twitter, extraordinarily high for anyone in the arts, especially considering she was not one to not shy away from a fight.

It inspired me to look over what was considered an &quot;man&#039;s field.&quot; When I took a job that mostly men occupied. My mother pulled me aside during an award ceremony for me excelling in that position and said, &quot;see you father doesn&#039;t know everything.&quot; 

She meant when he told me that a black woman had nothing in the way of advice that could benefit a white woman.
