Was a time, and not very long ago, when the USA was by far the world's largest producers of Co2 and other forms of enviromental pollution. We are still the world's largest consumers.

Much of the rest of the planet's industrial polluters do so to meet the USA's demand for their products, since most manufacturing has been outsourced, along with the jobs, to other countries. Where enviromental restrictions on pollution output is practically nonexistant. Wages are next to nothing compared to wages here, which isn't saying all that much.

So the USA may not be the biggest enviromental hazzard on the block these days, the USA is still as responsible for the enviromental mess this planet is in as much as anyone else could be, if not more so.

China's pollution output right now is second only to their population. With over 1.35 billion people.

All of what I wrote is just my opinion, the only actual statistic is the population of China.

Of course, Carlos, have you not picked up on my dry wit here in the past...it's merely observation about behavior and that was my dry witted point, hee hee hee...

Choe, hopefully that'd be a given.

Last time I was in China they were doing a bang up job of erecting entire empty cities for future 'infrastructure' so they must've run out of the flat land to destroy and the were also burning a huge amount of coal...yikes...if mother earth could speak she'd be PISSED OFF~!!
***(& btw, the US is not too far behind for killing off nature's resources so I'm not putting down only China in my statement)
