Hi Michelle: I just got my computer running recently, running an old OS, Windows XP, so I haven't been on line too much lately.
I found this story about the women mathematicians who were there at the beginning, pioneering computer sciences to be very interesting. And if not for Walter Isaacson and his book nobody would have ever heard of women like, Ada Lovelace, Jean Jennings Bartik, Grace Hopper and others who were so instrumental in the development of computers as we know them today, and who on Earth can even guess what uses computers will be put to task tomorrow?

It is sad and a crime that credit is not given where credit is due, in this case to the dedicated women mathematicians and believe me when I tell you that having been an electronics technician for better than 30 years, specializing in professional audio equipment repair. That I could never even dream that I could ever write computer program, much too difficult and way over my head.

Yes, I would definitely qualify these ladies as wonderful women of the world. Good choice of topics.
Oh and hi Linda, how have you been "sweetie".
