Interchangeable Core Cylinders are frequently used in larger institutions and businesses and are known for their easy ability to re-key the lock by swapping out the core without taking the lock apart. I/C Locks have two types of keys that work in the lock, the standard operator key locks and unlocks the lock like normal, while the control key, when used, pulls the entire core of the lock out without removing any screws. This is very useful when upgrading locks since the door hardware can be left alone. Just the lock cores are replaced with new ones allowing the door to be upgraded in seconds. The most popular I/C Lock brands are Best, Yale, and Schlage. Their figure-eight style cores are well known and are found in many places around the world. There are different I/C lock formats with the two most popular being Small Format Interchangeable Core (SFIC) and Large Format Interchangeable Core (LFIC). It is important to note that I/C cylinders can only be installed in housings specially meant for I/C cylinders. They cannot be installed in standard deadbolts or locks not meant to take an I/C cylinder. In almost all cases if your lock can take an IC cylinder you will see the figure eight on the outside of the lock.

I trust that helps.

Hello Zen Lill it is always nice to hear from you. Thanks for inquiring about us here in France. How shall I start? First it is almost 3:30 PM cest here Île-de-France.

I'm back in Paris after 11 months in Caen. There the country was on high alert I thought until I returned home, to Paris. People are not just nervous, they are frightened of everyone different.

Most are afraid if the crowds get too large. When in an enclosed area, one can't help but check out the exits. Many in restaurants want to sit next to an exit. I think trust is what has been lost.

As for the burkini ban since the Conseil d'Etat, our highest administrative court has overturned the ban, women can be forced to wear it under the pretext they choose to do so. Me I would force the men to wear one too or send the lot home. On the other hand if a woman wanted to wear it on her on no one should have the right to stop her. So I'm okay with the overturning of the ban.

The way I see it is since there is no way to tell if a woman is doing it because she wants to or because she is being forced to, France should err on the side of deferring to the choice the woman makes when she comes to the beach.

How are you and your family, especially your daughter, handling your constant traveling between the two countries? My best friend travels with me with her 16 year old daughter. She hates it and we are only traveling a hundred miles both ways.

I read the blog every day to see what you are saying. I called or received calls from over a hundred others who read the blog telling me what I already knew that you were addressing me personally on the blog.

I texted this PTDR in rely and called my mother to tell here when I would be replying to you.

Thanks again, Mon ami for thinking of France and me.

5 Steve, same.

In fact, it's PTSD inducing, I'm feeling traumatized by this beyond crazy election. SMH

I'm wondering how France is doing, Ma Qin, what's it like after that attack and now burkini banning, it's tension producing, what's the word on the street, mon ami?

Breaking news: Trump's plan to win black votes.
Mr Trump has promised to kiss every blac'kass he comes across till it changes color to purple or blue.

After that Trump has promised to win Muslims back by kissing every Muslimass till they turn Christian white.

Trump knows living up to such a promise is a colossal task but he said he is up to it and if elected president he'll do it.

Way to go Mr Trump. Get those lips wet. You may have to do it even if you are not elected president.
