Zen Lill, first allow me to say that many of my friends are very envious of the dialogues I share with you. I did't respond yesterday because we had a discussion of how I should introduce you to them. I argued it wasn't necessary for me to "introduce anyone to you before they addressed you because we are all a family here on Michelle's blog.

We had an early dinner today and concluded that my suggestion was the best. However for those few who were still in the belief that a formal introduction would better give them the odds that you would respond here are the names of the "ZenLillies."

There are presently 309 members. I will list some of the names, some are repeats others agreed they did not need an introduction.

Oh and I forgot to say I do think the banning of the Burkini was a knee-jerk reaction to that nervousness and frighten feelings people are experiencing in the aftermath of the Bastille Day attack, MaQin.

As misguided and misplaced as that reaction was, I sensed there was a group think going on (or hysteria really) a PTSD type reaction to an extremely stressful and devastating situation, when people feel out of control (because they didn't see this coming and were unable to stop it at the time) they then seek to control whatever they can.

Sending you and the people of France some healing thoughts.

[…] /SB: Absolutely adorable! I love her. I wish more people felt that way. I don’t expect the world to turn vegetarian; I’m not. But if we all just ate less meat, made sure the animals were treated well (with uber kindness) and killed humanely (as they so deserve), the world would be a very different place. Thank you – enjoy the holiday weekend too and do text me if you’re around. xox […]

MaQin, thank you for asking about my girl, she luvs all the travel overall but goes through withdrawals from US friends till she gets around her besties here, she's got a very mixed culture crew here and I'm happy for her and thrilled to have given a chance to be close to her dad once again. After we separated he started working more here and this decision was a joint one to give her him back and a chance to attend a great school and travel this region. We all are the ultimate modern family, it doesn't have to be horrible to separate/divorce, mine was not and he would tell you it's mostly due to my zen temperament and ability to just be kind and respectful no matter what's going on.

I may end up in Europe for a few years if she decides to go to university there.

I can't believe how fast this kid grew up. I'm sure every parent feels that way and I'm no different in that regard.

What part of the travel doesn't your friends daughter like, too much car time, too often or is it something else?

On another note, any of Obamas 'ineffectiveness' came from lack of turn out during mid-terms, what a shame, hopefully this lack of turn out will not occur again under HRC's presidency.

We cannot afford that kind of lackadaisical approach to something so important.

trumps campaign just keeps getting better, how does he have any poll numbers at all ... Look at his latest acquisition.

Ailes is on trump campaign team now, how appropriate.

I'm still not convince there's not a back door deal going on w t-rump losing accidentally on purpose to Clinton, I'm hoping it's true bc it may be just me but I think it'd be a dangerous time for the USA if he gets elected.

It's as Mischa stated, more about SCOTUS than anything else. Those are lifetime seats.

Just my opinion but put a luxury tax on sex toys (a nice want ; ) and no tax on tampons (a need) and condoms (necessary for disease prevention) let's get clear on wants and needs and it could be more reasonable for everyone.
