1 Crystal, Yesss thank the goddess it's one down, her remarks floored me, you have to really have your head deeply intrenched elsewhere to spout that nonsense 'there's no racism...' Unbelievable she had an electoral vote.

I read Black Doctors comment and thought the race trauma term covers what occurs very well; cultural, race and gender trauma is mentioned in the pain body chapter in A New Earth by Ekhard Tolle.

Anything to help voters vote I am for, last presidential I had to go back 3 times because of lines or parking issues, that's ridiculous and if you're a working 9-5 (or longer) it's near impossible. I'll be sending in a vote from overseas, are you against that, too? (although I don't doubt that with electronic voting things get counted/rigged depending on how much the hacker is paid to sway the vote)

Unconstitutional, hmm, I dislike that term it's only a reminder that a group of white men cane together to make decisions that may have been very applicable at the time but much of it could use a redo with some women and some OTW's in the room this time.

Anyone else wondering why it is only republican controlled states that attempt to stop early voting>

Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel is dropping an attempt to block the state's largest cities from staring early voting in September for the Nov. 8 election.

A panel of the 7th U.S. Circuit Court on Monday denied a request by state attorneys to block expanded early voting hours. Schimel could have asked the U.S. Supreme Court to get involved, but his spokesman tells the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (http://bit.ly/2bCEOwL ) Schimel decided not to do that.

I guess if they can't find 2 republican appointed judges to get a 2 to 1 federal appellate court to side with them, they just quit trying to deprive people of the right to vote.

He didn't do that because the court is evenly divided and he knew that meant the last ruling would stand.

That would be a good start, Palin#32, but many places don't get to close on holidays, which could affect many people in lower-income jobs, many of whom are the very people the law was meant to keep from voting.
