Looks like Florida is gonna get hit. The Hurricane Watch Center says Our Friends on the southern east coast should expect some trouble from Matthew. Nicole has now formed. It’s still an Category 1 storm but if it picks up from the winds from Matthew, it could be a double whammy for Our Friends.

Let’s help them.

All of you disparaging Kaepernick, and whether you support or don’t support his actions – what he is doing is totally American. It doesn’t matter what he is protesting. The fact is, he is protesting, via civil disobedience, in a non-violent way. This is totally American and what our country supports – FREE SPEECH. I wholeheartedly support his efforts.

#13 Stan, sorry you feel that way but I sort of get where you’re coming from, but it’s only disappointing and but a good feeling of you were fighting for everyone freedom but the attached expectation infers that it’s freedom as long as you do the ‘right things’ as defined by you (or let me blame your indoctrination led belief system), see Blake’s comment.

If you’re going to be a country that stands for freedom then it means exactly that.

In the late 60′s FBI’s Hoover basically shut down the black panthers, who were actually, contrary to popular belief, just giving power to the people. Not doing anything TO white people just empowering themselves, and why wouldn’t they. White people couldn’t handle it so there was systemic elimination of powerhouses like MLK, so much for the civil rights act. If this is the way this man wants to handle it NOW, making it about the anthem lyrics then so be it. Sit. Kneel. Fist up. He’s free to do so, at least that’s what ‘home of the free and the brave’ is supposed to stand for, isn’t it? Or are some still believing they’re more equal than others…hmm…
