Off subject, I saw a wonderful film this weekend called Mustang. It was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Film. It tells the story of five orphan girls being raised by their grandmother in rural Turkey. It was directed by a woman, Deniz Gamze Ergüven. I think all women, no matter their culture or where they live, will find something in this story that resonates within them.

Every woman deserves a voice, and control of their own lives, and the world needs more films like this tell their stories.
