[…] Social Butterfly: I can’t keep thinking about the quote you posted by Michelle Vitalione. The double standard of what’s acceptable and excused behavior for men vs. women is still going strong. Clinton can go under investigation but where are the people shouting to prosecute Trump when there is proof without a doubt that Trump violated the embargo against Cuba? C’mon Dems, get it together.
Agree and I'll admit I was wrong, I thought it'd be slam dunk and nope the US has dumbed down even more than I predicted when I was a teen, sad but true. The only thing I can do here is send in my absentee ballot and I've noticed that even the big old white man club has slowed their roll, now they just say I hate them both and I may abstain from voting this time. We shall see...

Mike TM nothing truly new there. It's the 'if you didn't like the first Clinton presidency, check this out' BS rearing its head again.

I really wish candidates would run ads just highlighting their accomplishments and specific plans (even though we know it's all blue sky stuff) and stop the negative bashing of each other, we would likely see a higher caliber of candidates in the pool, not many of the truly bright and intelligent are willing to have all the bones of the past pulled out of their closet to be POTUS. Just my opinion. It's been going on for a long time I know but we won't see change till that and campaign reform occurs.

Get out and vote...it does matter even though it's the major billionaires of the world that are running the agenda, oops uh oh I'm in the rabbit hole of research again, sorry...

Very good reporting Social Butterfly. Here is another reason to drop Wells Fargo Bank.

WELLS FARGO TROUBLES MOUNT WITH PENALTY FOR IMPROPERLY REPOSSESSING SOLDIERS’ CARS

WELLS FARGO TROUBLES MOUNT WITH PENALTY FOR SOLDIERS’ LOANS
Wells Fargo & Co., reeling from weeks of pummeling over fraudulent customer accounts, is now facing a Justice Department sanction over improperly repossessing cars owned by members of the military, according to two people with knowledge of the investigation.

Federal prosecutors and the bank’s regulator, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, are planning to punish the San Francisco-based lender for alleged violations of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, said the people, who asked not to be named because the investigation isn’t public.

A penalty of as much as $20 million is expected from the OCC, one of the people said. That’s an unusually large fine for abuse of this law, which in most cases requires that firms obtain court orders before seizing vehicles from soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines who are delinquent on their loans.

These enforcement actions against the bank follow a $185 million settlement in which employees of the firm opened more than two million accounts that customers may not have been aware of with the aim of meeting internal sales targets.

The matter has sparked weeks of sharp criticism, congressional hearings and the forfeit of tens of millions in bonuses for top executives.
