I'm with you Teri. Most of the men on this blog seem to have issues with Madaline. We girls love her. Maybe that is the reason. Of course, it is known that Madaline believes that men see the world through the size of their penis.

The smaller the penis, the smaller the vision. My advice to them would be since science hasn't been able to help you with the size of that little head of your, get some corrective lens and enlarge your view of the world.

You may find it not as threatening as you seem to feel it is. Until then you can continue to pretend to be enlightened to get into our pants. However, you should know that most intelligent women allow you that access not because we buy your bullshit. But rather because it is convenient for us at the time.

Q: My father recently passed away. I feel that we had not resolved many of the issues between us before his death. What can I do now to help myself so that I feel more at peace?

A: Hurt and guilt don't go away when someone dies. It is important to find closure for yourself -- otherwise, you will carry lingering troubled feelings into relationships throughout your life and even may pass them on to your own children. What to do..
.
Write a letter to your father telling him what you needed and what you got and didn't get from him. Examples: I felt left out... I never got the respect I needed... you never really saw me for who I was.
Then create an action so that the letter gets "sent." Examples: Read it at the cemetery... tear it up or burn it... take it to the ocean, read it, then tear it up and let the pieces float away.

Talk to others. If you have siblings or other relatives who knew your father well, ask if they would be willing to talk about what you're feeling. Supportive listeners can be vital to healing.
