I found this on AOL and thought it would be interesting to both you and your readers.
This woman in her 30’s, named Polly Letofsky has walked 14,124 miles to raise money for breast cancer organizations, she has raised over $250,000 herself. I hope others will try to match her. This is real courage.
She has covered 4 continents and 22 countries. She has made a film of her journey “Polly’s Global Walk”.

Len Zill.
Thought I might say hello since my lips are still flappin’ since Friday night. This stupid racism is ingrained much deeper than I ever thought possible. Perhaps I didn’t know because the people I associate myself with are not racists.
But, think about it. Racism has got to be the biggest waist of time and energy.
The world has real problems it is facing, other than what group is better than whatother group.
Hasn’t it occured to anybody that we are all one race on this planet, the Human Race. Excluding our ET visitors.
Does it not make sense that if we were not preoccupied with racism and similar such nonsense, that the Human race as a species, could unite and take care of more pressing problems. Such as world hunger, poverty, war, and the fact that we are all slaves to the world bank.
Racism is one of thier diversions, it takes the focus off the worlds real problems.
Well, I have flapped enough for a Saturday. But we have got to learn to live together peacefully, or the banks will gobble us up, one by one.

Hey Misch, you are a mind reader, I meant to comment in this bc I was in CT visiting the fam. & it’s timely in that the Obama health plan, a good section of it re: planning your living will is being renamed ‘Kill Granny’ by Repugs, annoying me to no end.

I taught my mother how to use her tv remote, trust me this is mo easy fear, this poor woman shouldve been on Xanax or code 404 for anxiety many years ago. We also had a nice and productive chat about paperwork, wills, etc…and she wants to be cremated – I said I’m with you on that and she asked me to convince my sister, hmmm, I also suggested scattering the ashes in the beautiful park across the street and it was so funny, a day later she announced the news at dinner, making it official : )

Now, if repugs want to distort that convo into a kill granny or euthanasia chat than that party is more disfunctional than I thought.

Well done, M, thanks for reprinting, the gist of it bears repeating.
