Here is another example of the heavy hand of the US government.

Navy Wants To Bar Guam Customs From Inspecting Military Ships and Aircraft

Guam - The Department of the Navy has issued a point paper informing GovGuam that U.S. "military ships and aircraft are exempt from inspections by the Guam Customs and Quarantine Agency."

Chief of Staff for Lt. Governor Mike Cruz, Carlotta Leon Guerrero, says that Guam Customs has had the right to inspect military ships and aircraft for decades.

The "point paper" she said signals an intent to change that policy, but it has not been finalized yet.

The Navy's point paper cites as justification for its proposed change, Guam law [5 GCA #73113] "and the doctrines of sovereign immunity and supremacy." 5 GCA states, in part,: "Vessels are not required to make entry at the Customs House (1) Vessels of war..."

Read the Navy's Point-Paper

The point-paper states that : "Under no circumstances may Guam authorities be permitted to exercise governmental authority, nor may they inspect the ship/aircraft."

Leon Guerrero says the issue is on the table in discussions with the military during the ongoing talks surrounding the military buildup.

Michelle,
The photo of the giraffes is not a 'snuggly' photo at all. These giraffes are violently fighting. The term is actually called "necking". I saw giraffes doing this when I was on safari in Africa and while it was extremely fascinating to witness, it was sad. I just thought you should know .

Hi Mischa, what kind of boot camp, the physical or mental or occupational type? I'm just curious...call me if you don't want to blog it, that way I get a call also : )

Oof, I got to thinking about the mother thing after reading above, I'm terrible but there's a reason, I was my father's daughter, I even look exactly like him, good lookin' bugger that he was : ) so her and I, hmm, well we have my daughter in common, the fact is: I intimidate her, it's accidental, I'm just being me but she is not used to (and never will be) my independent spirit and my lack of wanting to blindly follow male 'leaders' and she thinks that I'm raising Lily without religion and how blasphemous is that? Hmm, I do teach her about all religions, their origins, thier place in society/history and if she wants to buy a God myth when she's older, well, so be it. I'm sure my mother loves me, we were close when I was under 11. I have a much different relationship with my girl (though that doesn't mean she'll always call me daily, but I don't require that from anyone)

I was rethinking even posting my Chinese herb suggestions for the 'women of MM blog' bc I was thinking I'd really rather do an in person thing in case some symptoms are worst than others but after reading Evelyn's comment, I changed my mind, here's the basic list for a few things, if you have SEVERE monthly cramps - go see a Chinese herbalist bc there is a tea (I call it: 'twigs and things!') bc it's weird to brew and its kind of stinky but it does its job, feel free to ask about the 'I don't want to the baby' tea also, I'm not posting those herbs, that would be too irresponsible for me, but I'll post you my peri/menopausal herbs, though I'm not either, I blend a mix of my own...and if you want to do that you can research each herb and add it in or delete it from your mix.

I mix equal portions of each herb and I scoop them into gel caps (have tried just scooping it into my protein shake in AM, and it's um, not tasty, 'nuff said) I buy them 100% pure herb powder, they don't have a website and I haven't yet checked this site thoroughly (that's my disclaimer) but it is called blessedherbs.com, check it out.

For those lovely monthly cramps, a reminder that our hormones are still flying freely in our systems, and to that I'll actually say that I just may miss the fluctuation someday (am I being wistful?) but only bc I know just how to handle the false emotional triggers/responses as they come up and I'm able to turn on my 'observer' instead of actively being reactive : ) although if a male says something totally boneheaded I automatically visualize him with a hatchet hanging out of his forehead, hee hee, and we know I'd never do it...profuse bleeding makes me nauseous.

Cramps: dong quia, chuan Xiong, peony root, motherwort, and yan hu suo

peri and regular old menopause: black cohosh, wold yam, sage, chast tree berry, bilberry, black cumin, gotu koli, grape seed, red clover, hawthorn berry, dong quia, evening primrose oil. Cook or add or otherwise ingest the following: tumeric, ginger, ginko biloba, and green tea (with super anti-oxidants)

That's it...carry on with your usual regimen of exercise...we'll mix it up again soon...

It appears that men of blog were busy over the weekend, AH, Adam and Anonz being in the same room, and I knew Anonz would not be queasy about watching those 2 bros get their just deserts, hardly...

I read about the Anonz sighting and for some reason I started thinking - wow, how come I've never made such a dramatic difference by being out there...then I moved to another blog bc the thought was bugging me and the author was talking about her quest for doing noble/global acts and at a meeting she had a moment and this is it, read this:
I realized that most of my love was being poured outward, not homeward. It felt more noble to help people in far off countrues and in future generations that it did to - simply - love the one I was with and love him well - the way he deserved to be loved.

And then I had my own aha moment, bc it just could be that people who always pour their love 'outward' just don't feel as needed or as competent at bringing it homeward with any true consistency...I am always consistent, it's scary so just reading that let me know that's it's all good, I can hang here or if the opportunity arises for me to assist young girls/women in Africa, (or some other unique situation) I won't be outpouring too much 'outward' without handling that old 'homeward' perfectly also...any of that make sense to any of you, anyone else relate to that statement by her (or me)??

That's my two, luv, Zen Lill
