I'm with you Anonz. Why feel sorry for the greedy bastards that supported the republicans to make a profit at their fellow citizens expense. This is about those who cared about only their desire to get rich, to own a bigger piece of the pie.

They support the republican trickle down theory because they expected to be high up in that trickle down chain. They were willing to allow a bigger piece for the billionaire so that they could get some for themselves to hell with the little guy at the bottom.

The market will drop like a rock today until the billionaires begin to divide up the cheap bargains. It is the greedy fucking preppies that you can blame for this debacle. It was a classic sting. History and the movie industry will have block busters telling this true story. It won't be told until long after the guilty have happily passed away.

The people would have been better served by the government setting up a federal bank to loan money directly to the people and leaving the business sector to continue getting their loans from the private sector.

They republicans would not have stood for this because people like Anonz would have been against it. The big money boys are consolidating the banks into their personal pockets. The feds aren't making the anti-trust checks that would prevent one or two people form owing all the banks.

Investment banks have now become regular commercial banks. This is going to mean that the Anonz's of the world will own a piece of everything. The multi-billionaires are playing monopoly on a real board.

The average investor who supported the republican party's "leave the markets alone" policy because they believed it would make investing profits better for them are the ones who will lose the most on their market investments. The Anonzs of the world have eaten their lunch.

Doug

It is so easy to give up something you don't have. You don't have billions nor the power that goes with having it. If you were in my shoes and knew what I know because of my money, power, and experience attained as a result of acquiring and maintaining billions, you would have seen man in all his weaknesses. They all have a price. Those that are willing to die for country or some religious belief have been bought by some ones ideology, so they too have a price.

Only those willing to sacrifice all for another without regard to whether or not they will be remembered as heros or receive their reward from some god who is observing their noble sacrifice have no price.

What would you risk for your principles if you had it to risk? Would you risk, your reputation, morals, money, life? How far would you go to be able to look yourself in the mirror daily and see a person that you could respect.

Frankly I owe nothing to those who by their own greed, racism, indifference or religious intolerance daily inflict incredible hardships on those around them. They deserve fleecing.

From my side of the fence, the less power these people have to use against those less fortunate is a good thing. If you feel the need to help them, by all means do. Just don't volunteer my money or life.

If you must know, I will continue to fleece those sheep. They will not do anything to stop me. They admire me for amassing my huge fortune. They aline themselves with the republican party to gain access to an opportunity to make that elusive fortune for themselves.

Hell, man part of the allure of the republican party is to hold out the carrot of success that can only be achieved by deregulating the markets and allowing the markets to govern themselves. They want the markets to run rough shod over the weak and uninformed. They believe that they will be among the informed and hence make money off the less fortunate (fleece the sheep).

These are people who would not know the difference between socialism or a hole in the wall. They just repeat the talking points that we give them so they can have access to the "big money" their greed blinds them to.

The republican party is a tool to make its leaders super rich not the greedy, racist, religiously fanatic members. They are but our private sheep. I repeat they deserve fleecing. These are insensitive hypocrites who will force a woman to have a baby and then call it socialism if the government that has forced her to have the baby is asked to now help that baby get medical assistance.

Tell me again why I should sacrifice one dollar of possible profit to enrich those sheep. As for those who do not fit in that category. Most are indifferent or don't participate in their electoral process.

There is an old proverb that says give a man a fish, he eats for one day, teach him how to fish and he can feed himself. I find it typical that those who do not have what he is asking another to give up is so benevolent with the other person's assets.

How generous would you be if I asked you to share your home with all the homeless that you meet. Your home is just as valuable to you as my billions are to me. Give up a room or two to the homeless. Give a few dollars to those that you meet everyday on the street.

Or, you could get busy organizing your community into a political force to deal with the local problems in your neighborhood. It is obvious to me that you have not gotten involved politically in your neighborhood. If you had you would be too angry with the greedy, hypocritical, racist, religious fanatics that place themselves between you and your lofty goals to have time to lecture me.

Those me first people use the government to take advantage of those that have very little. They elect representatives that promise tax breaks to the super rich because they expect to one day join us in those ranks. They could care less about the sheep below them. So why should I be concerned about the sheep below me?

My Sweet Lilly

I don't see punishing those that prey on others as callous. I have seen how far those people will go if the government will allow them. You had better believe that if we could get the government to return to its ways of the 60's, white america would for the most part allow it.

Sure there would be some whites who would find it very uncomfortable, but they would not put their lives on the line to prevent those OTWs that they are today friends, lovers, or related to from having to suffer the degradation that would accompany the return to the Jim Crow laws of those times.

Until you have been asked to do more than opine nobly and you have met the test to your satisfaction, your commitment should be a touch circumspect.

I appreciate all the help that I have been given. But with or without it my actions would have been the same and they will continue to reflect what and who I believe deserves that kind of commitment they get from me.

Lady Lilly, maybe I can not live up to the noble expectations that you have set for me. I can only say that I must answer the call of my own conscious in this arena. It is not one for the faint of heart.

We who play hard, play hard.

Anonz

Doug, it is naive to think that "knowledge would create a better world." If all it took was knowledge, we would have a better world by now. It is not just the knowledge we need. It is a leader who arrives at the right time, with the right set of values to effect a change by his/her persona and unwillingness to be bribed.

Obama has yet to be tested by me in the bribe department. If he makes it to the White House, he most certainly will be tested. His 40 days in the dessert will arrive and the Devil will be there with all sorts of temptations.
