I looked into pet insurance awhile back for Elke, she has a pre-existing condition and I passed at the time, she’s 12 and I have told the docs this year to stop doing all that blood work to see if her meds are killing her kidneys, she’ll stay with me for as long as she is supposed to and no longer, I’m amazed she’s here 12 years now, her bro Ziggy died at 9 and he was the healthy one. I plan to enjoy her till she’s too ill and let her go…no further drugs, chemo etc if she’s in pain, I’d want the same for me and will specify that to my personal Krovorkian (when I find one and need one).
