5 Things You Can Do To Ensure Hillary Wins

Good morning!

“What more can I do?” I keep asking that of myself.

There are many ways that you and I can help rock the vote and ensure that Hillary shatters the glass ceiling and becomes the first woman president…with coattails.

I realize that everyone has many things to do in their ordinary day in their everyday life. But this election is far from ordinary, and the results will most certainly affect our everyday lives. This is the last week for us to step it up and do something more. I am asking all of you to become a little bit more involved because the stakes are so high.

What happens next Tuesday will not only affect the next 4 years but decades if a SCOTUS is appointed from a republican president. Yes, even if Hillary wins, the republicans will try and deny anyone on Hillary’s list, shouting that we don’t need anyone to replace Scalia. (We’ll deal with that when we get to that point.) However, on the other hand if Trump wins and the senate remains red, you can bet that position will be filled by a conservative asap. And that reign will affect everything.

Even if you only have nights and this weekend, there is still so much that you can do to support Hillary and the Dems.

  1. Make sure that you friends and family are registered. Registration is over in many states but NOT ALL:
    • If you’re still not registered, you can register even up until election day in some states. Click here to see which states.
  2. Join Hillary’s team: It’s not too late to join and be a part of herstory. Click here to sign up and find out what you can do between now and election day. You can also visit Democrats.org. There are plenty of ways to help so find one that suits you best. I get daily texts of how I can support Hillary. I do as many as I can. It’s never too late.
  3. Make phone calls. I personally enjoy the energy of being around a lot of Dems excited about this election so I encourage you to get to your local call center (Californians click here) and join in. It’s fun to engage with likeminded dems and a wonderful way to support Hillary.
    • If you can’t make it to a local call center you can make phone calls right from your home or on your cell from your favorite coffee house. Don’t worry about being a newbie, all you have to do is follow the script and be your wonderful self! Easy peasy. Here’s two ways you can make phone calls:
      1. Join on Hillary.com.
      2. Join on MoveOn.org. This is strictly to make calls to swing-state voters. REALLY important we turn these states BLUE. Florida is a biggie.
  4. Donate Money. I get texts to donate just $1. Imagine if we all donated $1 what a huge impact we collectively would do!
  5. VOTE. Then Help your family and friends get to the polls so they can vote. There is nothing more important than to ensure that once someone is registered that they actually make it to the polls and vote.
    • Vote early and get others to do the same. Why wait? Got vote and then help others get to the polls. Offer to carpool and pick up friends and family that can’t drive or are on limited time.
    • Sign the Voter’s Pledge and vote on Election Day. Sign up by clicking here:
      • Voting matters. It empowers communities, and brings us together as Americans. It makes your voice heard by signaling to people in charge what matters most.

Voting should be easy, inclusive, and awesome. On Election Day, the best response to any attempts to make casting a ballot more difficult is for us to get to the polls — and to get our friends, family, and neighbors there, too.

Stand up for democracy now by pledging to vote and to help others exercise their right with these four simple steps:

        1. Make a Plan: Verify your voter registration status, find your polling location, and learn what’s on your ballot.
        2. Sign up for Reminders: You’re more likely to vote if you get emails or text reminders. Sign up here.
        3. Tell your friends and family that you plan to vote. Research has shown that this simple act can increase turnout.
        4. Protect the Vote: Spread the word about the people who are here to help. Call 866-OUR-VOTE if you have problems on Election Day — they are nonpartisan volunteers who’ve got your back.

Sign now to pledge to vote and to help others exercise their right. After you sign, we’ll send you a reminder of the steps you can take to ensure that everyone’s voice is heard.

      • Californians: Confused about the Propositions? Click here for a list of California’s Propositions  (You need to scroll down a bit to see them), and how the Democrats are suggesting you vote for them, as well as local endorsements. Take down the Proposition numbers and google them if you aren’t clear what each one is all about.

*****

Readers: Thank you for everything that you’ve done and are doing the ensure a win for Hillary. I am so grateful. If you have anything to report please do so here so that we can all be kept abreast of everything going on between now and election day. Thanks.

Tatonga: You are very welcome. I wish I could do more. I’m pleased President Obama has finally made some remarks about what is going on and hopeful that the Army Corps of Engineers are considering an alternative route for the project. Like Bernie Sanders though, I agree that the pipeline work should stop until the Army Corps review is completed. Much love to you and yours.

#NastyBitch: Love it! Wise words.

Congratulations to the Cubs  for their historic big win!

Peace & Love: “Live it, Give it.”

The “N” in the “WON’T” state, North Carolina, has added more restrictions on OTWs to prevent them from voting.

My god white folk, if you can’t win without cheating others of the right to vote find another avenue to express your opinions.

  2. Irene Says:

Michelle, I’m doing everything I can to help. This election is just too important to not get involved.

  3. Carlos Says:

I have just voted in California. What the fuck is up with the democrats? Hilary Clinton is the fourth option on the ballot for POTUS.

Donald fucking Trump is the first option. What is wrong with the fucking dems?

  4. Social Butterfly Says:

#3 Carlos, that may be a county thing (?) On my ballet, Gary Johnson was first, Hillary was third and Donald was last at position 5.

    /SB

  5. Social Butterfly Says:

These pictures are worth a 1000 words. I certainly hope that this is a harbinger of how things will play out on Nov. 8.

  6. Terri Says:

You are correct Social Butterfly#4, because On my ballot he was number 4 and Hilary was first.

Sorry Carlos, there is no rabbit hole to go down this time.

  7. Diosa Says:

Social Butterfly#5, I hope that translates into more votes for Hilary. I live in Colorado and the amount of voter suppression is incredible. More than 13,000 of my race in this county has been expunged from the voting rolls.

They make up all kinds of shit to kick us off. I had to run around almost a week to get back on. The republican controlled state is doing everything they can to preserve white control of the state’s political offices.

  8. Craig Says:

I know a lot of white people read this blog. I hope you take what I am saying seriously. Trump is the only candidate who is going to prevent white genocide in this country.

He will stop all the influx of non whites into this country. We as white people need to protect our proud heritage.

    Vote Donald Trump.

  9. Steven Says:

Craig#8. that would mean people might learn what the claim of White Genocide actually IS, and that it is VERY REAL – The anti-white journalist and people like Michelle wouldn’t like that very much.

  10. Green Says:

White genocide is obviously in the works; mass immigration to every white country, and whites are forbidden to speak collectively in their own interests.

The OTWs are attempting to breed us out of existence. Please wake up and vote for Donald Trump.

  11. Lois Says:

My god is there another reason to vote for trump?

  12. Gwen Says:

Looks like Trump is right. The election is rigged. Rigged by the FBI to get Trump elected.

  13. Paula Says:

Gwen did you see the sean hannity fake story on Michelle Obama and Hilary? He apologized when he was called on it.

The problem is that way too many of Hannity’s fans will BELIEVE the original story, forward it on to like-minded people, and fail to follow up with the facts.

  14. Henry Says:

All network news companies are propaganda machines. That means FOX, CNN, MSNBC and the others. Anyone who denies that is just plain stupid and i won’t waste my time discussing it with fools like that.

  15. Alba Says:

Henry#14, you are trying to push just another case of false equivalency. Out right lying by fox doesn’t compare to opinion news by pundits.

But, You sound as if you are too stupid to waste time arguing with anyway.

  16. Shelia Says:

Paula#14, I saw the apology. What he really meant was I am sorry I got caught. Normally, I do a much better job of skirting the truth.

  17. Doug Says:

Shelia#16, old school, admitting to a lie is something a demoncrap is *never* capable of. Instead, they always double and triple down on their lies. You might want to ask Hitlery to come clean, because she lies every time she opens her fat mouth.

  18. Sela Says:

    Paula#13, Like Hildabeast?

  19. Walter Says:

Doug#17, How about Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld. Wolfowitz, and Rice.

  20. Sheldon Says:

Sela18 and Doug17, most people gave up name calling around 4th grade. I see neither of you have reached that level of maturity.

  21. Clark Says:

Apologize, something a Democrat obviously finds impossible to do…

  22. Scott Says:

gotta admit the democraps stick together, kinda like dookie logs.

  23. Anthony Says:

I doubt it was a lie. Hannity would not read a fake story unless he didn’t find out it was fake until afterwards.

  24. Paul Says:

This is highly unusual for Hannity.

  25. Alba Says:

Michelle, I love how the Republican sheep all herd together on your blog.

  26. Todd Says:

Hmm I’m not seeing all the teabaggers that constantly complain about how the liberal media doesnt fact check commenting on this one. I mean opening up the twitter app seems like one of the easiest fact checking actions ever…..

  27. Terry Says:

Todd#26, he admitted he was wrong and apologized what more do you want? getting a little desperate here sport. I guess we should just ignore all the false statements and outright lies like you libs do. get some better material, this ain’t working for you.

  28. Doug Says:

Hmm I’m just seeing the same delusional demoncraps ignoring all the truth in all the exposed emails, revealing the depth of the corruption of the DNC.

  29. Turner Says:

Hannity is a perfect example of the problems we are having with the media. He is too eager to expound and share half truths or information which has no merit to excite those who treat the information as gospel and chose to view news sites that only share “information” that only supports their views. My advice stop watching cable news and gather information from credible sources and consider it with a critical eye.

  30. MR Says:

when its about Clinton and her emails its like, send her to jail, what about Trump threatening democracy, remove Hannity from TV for plunging MO and Clinton into mud, is that the name of the game, send Trump to jail for threatening our democratic system, send the FBI director to jail for breaking the law and influencing the course of democratic election, its democracy and NO ONE should ever interfere…

  31. Sheldorf Says:

Hmm, I’m seeing Doug with the maturity level of an 8 year old.

  32. Alba Says:

Is Doug actually like this or is he just posing as a clown?

  33. Josie Says:

So we are to vote for trump to keep our race pure. Really?

  34. Terra Says:

Toni – I got a call asking about the situation. Just letting you know
