Soul Speak: What Happens To It After We Die?

Posted by Michelle Moquin on 26th November 2012

Good morning!

Well, I guess yesterday’s post really excited everyone. The comments were just rollin’ in. :) So, maybe today’s will be a little bit sexier, and if that doesn’t get you going, then I guess it is one of those days. Those of you who have been around for at least a few years will get my drift. :)

So..wha’at’s up?

I’m not sure if this is a sexy subject but it caught my eye this morning. I am a fan of “Through The Wormhole“, and just read about a recent show that speaks of the soul…what happens to it after we die?

Like I said before, if you’ve been here for at least a few years, then you’ve read comments from the aliens as well as the Earthling Girlz – remember when those girlz used to blog in? It seems after their earth bodies were no longer, their essence…their soul, carried on quite well in another form. Believe it?

This is what scientists have to say about the soul:

Scientists Discuss What Happens To The ‘Soul’ After Death (VIDEO)

What happens when human beings die? Is there a final destination for the soul? These were the questions discussed among four scientists on a video that recently aired on “Through the Wormhole” hosted by Morgan Freeman on the Sciencechannel.

A number of scientists who have studied consciousness and near-death experiences extensively believe they are close to solving the puzzle, but they vehemently disagree with each other about the solution.

Christof Koch, the Chief Scientific Officer of the Allen Institute of Brain Science and Lois and Victor Troendle Professor of Cognitive and Behavioral Biology at California Institute of Technology, argued that the soul dies and everything is lost when human beings lose consciousness. “You lose everything. The world does not exist anymore for you. Your friends don’t exist anymore. You don’t exist. Everything is lost,” he said.

Bruce Greyson, Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Virginia, challenged Koch’s view of consciousness. He said that, “if you take these near death experiences at face value, then they suggest that the mind or the consciousness seems to function without the physical body.”

Stuart Hameroff, who proposed the highly controversial Orch-OR (orchestrated objective reduction) theory of consciousness in 1996 along with Roger Penrose, told the Science channel, “I think the quantum approach to consciousness can, in principle, explain why we’re here and what our purpose is, and also the possibility of life after death, reincarnation and persistence of consciousness after our bodies give up.”

Finally, Eben Alexander who wrote the widely circulated and criticized cover story forNewsweek, ‘Proof of Heaven‘, said, “I have great belief and knowledge that there is a wonderful existence for our souls outside of this earthly realm and that is our true reality, and we all find that out when we live this earth.”

Whose argument do you find more compelling? Do you believe that human beings have souls? If so, what happens to the soul when a human being dies? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

Well? Care to share?

Ahh…I see a two comments have come in. At least Irene had something to say about Yesterday’s write. Hi Mike. :) Well…I guess the blog is open. So, you know what to do.

peace out.

SAM Spotted Something – Curious?

Good morning!

Alien chitchat is found here quite often, although not often enough for those that thrive on this stuff. So this one is for all of you that can’t get enough.

Awhile ago comments were posted about life on Mars, and the recent Mars probe. Today, I read of a major discovery on Mars that will soon be revealed to us. Curiosity” discovered something, and I’m curious to know what it is. Are you?

Here’s the write:

Mars Rover ‘Curiosity’ Team Reportedly Will Reveal Major Discovery In December

Mars Rover Curiosity

By: Mike Wall
Published: 11/20/2012 01:35 PM EST on SPACE.com

NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity has apparently made a discovery “for the history books,” but we’ll have to wait a few weeks to learn what the new Red Planet find may be, media reports suggest.

The discovery was made by Curiosity’s Sample Analysis at Mars instrument, NPR reported today (Nov. 20). SAM is the rover’s onboard chemistry lab, and it’s capable of identifying organic compounds — the carbon-containing building blocks of life as we know it.

SAM apparently spotted something interesting in a soil sample Curiosity’s huge robotic arm delivered to the instrument recently.

“This data is gonna be one for the history books,” Curiosity chief scientist John Grotzinger, of Caltech in Pasadena, told NPR. “It’s looking really good.”

The rover team won’t be ready to announce just what SAM found for several weeks, NPR reported, as scientists want to check and double-check the results. Indeed, Grotzinger confirmed to SPACE.com that the news will come out at the fall meeting of the American Geophysical Union, which takes place Dec. 3-7 in San Francisco.

The $2.5 billion Curiosity rover landed inside Mars’ huge Gale Crater on Aug. 5, kicking off a two-year mission to determine if Mars has ever been capable of supporting microbial life.

The car-size robot carries 10 different instruments to aid in its quest, but SAM is the rover’s heart, taking up more than half of its science payload by weight.

In addition to analyzing soil samples, SAM also takes the measure of Red Planet air. Many scientists are keen to see if Curiosity detects any methane, which is produced by many lifeforms here on Earth. A SAM analysis of Curiosity’s first few sniffs found no definitive trace of the gas in the Martian atmosphere, but the rover will keep looking.

Curiosity began driving again Friday (Nov. 16) after spending six weeks testing its soil-scooping gear at a site called “Rocknest.” The rover will soon try out its rock-boring drill for the first time on the Red Planet, scientists have said.

This ‘N That…

Good Sunday morning…oops afternoon!

I have to say that at this very moment I couldn’t be more happier. To be sitting in the beautiful sunshine out on my deck with the rays on my back, feeling the warmth, latte in my hand…well, let’s just say, it is blissful.

Today, I am just going to respond and catch up on a few comments that I passed over, as well as some recent comments.

DH: You know I would so like to hear more of that conversation between Cheney and Rumsfeld. But what was your part? You obviously back their sentiments, yes?  Considering all of the chat about dumb white women, more of that conversation would be good for the girls out there reading, especially the repub girls. Because obviously they are listening to dumb men such as yourself – Why? I don’t know; I guess it is simply because they’re dumb too.

Your second comment, is just so not true. You need to insert the word “republican” in place of democrat”, and then we’re talking the truth. I have one question, “Is it because of the insecurity you have over the size of your dick (see DS’s comment), or because you are a racist or a bigot that you don’t want Obama to be reelected? Or are you just dumb enough to think that you have some sort of chance at being a member of the 1% club, or do you just hate women? ( See Ellen’s comment) Which one is it because those are the only reasons one would vote for Romney/Ryan.

Jamie: Stay tuned. More to come for sure.

Joan: I loved the tête-à-tête as well. Thanks for posting.

Mike, TM: That story is unbelieveble. For a repub to admit he did it to steal votes, and for the judge to know the truth but allow the bill to stand is simply “just us” justice.

In answer to your question, I refer you to my question to DH above. It’s got to be one of those answers.

MoveOn: If only it was as simple as that. But hey, I will always be HOPEful.

Ila: I know there isn’t much time left. The peoples shouldn’t have to buy it back in the first place, but I am HOPEing that many people, and my readers supported this cause and the right to your/their land. I send you much good luck.

Maka: It was my pleasure to do so. I wish that there was no reason to do so.

Claire: I think ZL already responded to your comment. All I can add is there are other blogs that might suit your reading pleasure. I suggest you go there for “cohesiveness’. This blog is all about being open and jumping into whatever conversation you want to join. Try it – you may like it. Or do what I suggested earlier.

General Info: I like the post. This certainly gives me some insight that is helpful to my business. Thank you.

Anna Of Guam: Sweet story. Thanks for sharing. Do you know these two personally? Hafa adai.

Lance: Nice addition to Mike, TM‘s  comment.

Howie: It’s been nice seeing you so active on the blog lately with so much to add to the conversations. I HOPE that with the information you posted Smiv will be able to help Adam et al.

And all I can say is I have always been intrigued over the many stories of the pyramids, their existence, and how they came about. To read the latest about the recent tale of RPOTR/IOTA  is certainly fascinating and exciting to say the least. Can you tell us if CARR has a relationship with, or perhaps his connection to RPOTR if any?  Does RPOTR ever leave the planet/solar system?

I am assuming He is a “He” although the reference of IOTA stands for “I” or “It”. I guess “It” can be whatever “It” wants to be. I know…I know…I am full of questions like everyone else but I don’t want to bombard you with more. I just want to hear more like everyone else. I HOPE you’ll share what you know.

Zahia: I enjoyed reading your post as well. This tale has obviously shed new light upon your findings. What you said about the priests and their inexplainable “lies” encrypted to each other that made no sense, now does make sense. I can only imagine how excited you must be.

I think that is a good place to end…so I will.

Wha’at’s up with you?! Blog me.

“Corrupt” or “Current”?

Posted by Michelle Moquin on 25th July 2012

Bookmark and Share

Good morning!

The full question is: During Mitt Romney’s speech at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), did Romney call President Obama a “corrupt” president?

Romney said,  “A healthy American economy is what underwrites American power.  When growth is missing, government revenues fall, social spending rises, and many in Washington look to cut defense spending as an easy way out. That includes our corrupt president.”

Romney’s campaign denies that he said the word “corrupt”: Spokeswoman Andrea Saul saying in an e-mail that he “said ‘current,’ as was written in his speech.”

After seeing the video there is no question in my mind that he said the word “corrupt”.  Chris Matthews from “Hardball”, seems to think so and got Michael Steele to admit as much on his show last night. What is everyone else saying?

The Las Vegas Sun is reporting he meant to say “current president.” I don’t think so – He said exactly what he meant to say. I find it interesting how most of the white pundits want to err on the side of Romney by saying he meant to say “current.” Obama would never be given such consideration were he to say something as derogatory as that about Romney. Notice too that there is no news of this in the Huff Po – at least nothing I can find.

Remember all the hullabaloo when a member of Obama reelection committee suggested that Romney could be a charged for lying on his tax return? Here he calls the POTUS corrupt. This has never been done by a candidate but they, the white media, will look the other way because this is a white man dising a black man. Putting him in his place so to speak. Telling the rest of the world and America’s OTWs they are not quite equal to a white man even if they hold the highest office in the land.

And did you notice nobody is complaining about this? Sickening.

Here’s the video. You be the judge. But I’m sure you’ll agree with me that he said the word “corrupt”, not “current”, and in my opinion, he meant it.

Readers: What are your thoughts? Blog me.

Roswell: 65 Year Anniversary

Roswell UFO Was Not Of This Earth And There Were ET Cadavers: Ex-CIA Agent Says

Roswellheadline

Happy anniversary, Roswell, N.M. It was 65 years ago today that the Roswell Daily Record blasted an infamous headline claiming local military officials had captured a flying saucer on a nearby ranch. And now, a former CIA agent says it really happened.

“It was not a damn weather balloon — it was what it was billed when people first reported it,” said Chase Brandon, a 35-year CIA veteran. “It was a craft that clearly did not come from this planet, it crashed and I don’t doubt for a second that the use of the word ‘remains’ and ‘cadavers’ was exactly what people were talking about.”

ciaseal

Brandon served as an undercover, covert operations officer in the agency’s Clandestine Service for 25 years, where he was assigned missions in international terrorism, counterinsurgency, global narcotics trafficking and weapons smuggling. He spent his final 10 years of CIA service on the director’s staff as the agency’s first official liaison to the entertainment and publication industries. It was during this time, in the mid-1990s, that he walked into a special section of CIA headquarters in Langley, Va., called the Historical Intelligence Collection.

“It was a vaulted area and not everybody could get in it,” Brandon told The Huffington Post. “One day, I was looking around in there and reading some of the titles that were mostly hand-scribbled summations of what was in the boxes. And there was one box that really caught my eye. It had one word on it: Roswell.

“I took the box down, lifted the lid up, rummaged around inside it, put the box back on the shelf and said, ‘My god, it really happened!’”

What exactly did the box contain that had such a powerful impact on Brandon?

chasebrandon

“Some written material and some photographs, and that’s all I will ever say to anybody about the contents of that box,” he said. “But it absolutely, for me, was the single validating moment that everything I had believed, and knew that so many other people believed had happened, truly was what occurred,”

None of this comes as a surprise toStanton T. Friedman, a nuclear-physicist-turned-UFOlogist, who was the original civilian investigator of the Roswell UFO incident.

In the late 1970s, Friedman began to uncover former military eyewitnesses who had been involved with the original events that took place at Roswell in 1947.

Despite the fact that the military changed its story overnight, saying on July 8, 1947 that a flying disk had been captured but claiming on July 9 that a weather balloon had been recovered, Friedman’s early investigative efforts prompted many Roswell witnesses to come forward and tell their stories. Numerous researchers have dug up more facts in the years since.
