Since I'm alone here and have a captive audience, I wanted to give you this quote:

If women are supposed to be less rational and more emotional at the beginning of our menstrual cycle when the female hormone is at its lowest level, then why isn't it logical to say that, in those few days, women behave the most like the way men behave all month long?

Gloria Steinem

Hi Mischa, nice post yesterday : ) and thank you for the compliments, though John, are you for real, dude? What the heck? Too pretty to concern myself about fellow humans and not lock step with a white rethug? Hilarious...seriously...

I saw a tape of the other blond Faux News woman (forgot her name) going off on Eric Erickson and Lou bc clearly she's a working woman breadwinner, she was pissed and maybe her and Greta thought if they just signed a contract and did their jobs they could avoid male criticism there but now I think they're opening their eyes and better late than never. They confused the words males and men, lots of women confuse the two.

What's really threatening the nuclear pipe dream for these dudes is that they can no longer live like 'Madmen' of the 50's (well, they can but their breadwinner wife might just tell em' to F off and move on quicker than their 'tolerant' counterpart - the 50's housewife who didn't do it bc she had fewer options) and women can afford to stay single and they can afford to speak up about how they want to live out their breadwinning lives and not just lockstep around town in order to 'preserve' some old standard that fell apart bc men like it better when women 'behave' as they want them to, and the women instead chose to live life on their terms not their man's 'head of household' or 'dominant' dude concept...

what a bunch of whiny old guys...

Though Misch, I wonder when women will get their supportive act on, seems there's too much energy spent being competitive and/or counter productive to the cause of forwarding all women. Lots of women would rather back men, their hubbies/BF's knowing that that man is a buffoon/Ahole/jerk, etc..., I've heard women say tehy'd rather have a male boss, mostly bc that woman boss they experienced either acted bitchy (maybe she's new to having power and doesn't know how to wield it yet?) or that she's jealous ( and I've seen this one in action, not cool at all for either party, both lose), so how do you get women to band together? Most won't even abide woman code (do not hit on your GF's man, amongst other seemingly commonsensical things) and men are usually very into their man code (even if it means lying like mad for their fellow male), what's it going to take?? I hate turning it into a divisive man vs woman project but it is a tough project to band women together when they don't seem to want it badly enough and don't see the consequence of NOT doing it...sigh...
