Good Morning!

Barbara: I’m with you. I feel the same way. I want our president to empathize with women. Only a woman can do that. Men will never be able to walk in our shoes or understand our issues, concerns or the plight of women around the world. I’m sick of men trying to sympathize by pitying us because that compassion only goes so far. I appreciate the gesture when it’s sincere but sympathy is as far as a man can go. And it’s not enough for us women to get done what we want to get done.

And let me tell you, from years of us having to deal with men making decisions on our behalf concerning our bodies, with men pitying our plight, with men getting paid more money for the same job, with men getting off easily from rape, I AM DONE. I think many women are done.

If only a few of those who are voting for Trump can be shaken awake to feel the same way, Hillary has a chance to take this election. We have our work cut out for us, but I feel it’s totally doable. Work but doable.

It’s time for a woman, a strong qualified woman to have a say. Hillary has more experience, is more qualified, more knowledgable and more fit to be president than any man out there today. And definitely way ahead of this buffoon Trump. I mean frankly, ladies, if the best man they have to offer is Trump, there are at least a dozen women in the background more qualified. But the reality is, it’s Trump against Hillary. And Hillary will eat this ignorant bastard’s lunch on any topic, any subject, any issue, cause etc. etc. etc., concerning America’s needs, security, and welfare. It’s time for more women to join Hillary in support of women. Enough sympathy. Empathy, is what I want for us women.

Lucy: I am shocked too by what you reported. Those numbers are astounding, yet given the crowd he seems to gather around him, not surprising. Let me give kudos to Zen Lill for suggesting there are “daddy issues” concerning females who reflexively support men. But honestly Lucy, as you said, since OTW women don’t seem to have a problem with overcoming their “daddy issues,” there’s more to it than that.

It was Alycedale who said “You have your heads so far up white men’s asses you can’t smell the stink of their shit because you think that’s the way the world should smell.” (I can’t help but laugh at that visual!) Perhaps it is because they are used to accepting the bullshit that men put out to be able to control a woman’s ability to earn money, to question a man’s responsibility when he sexually assaults a woman, and the basic functioning of their bodies.

Readers: Let me just say to any woman who accepts a man using religion to justify whether or not she can have an abortion or do anything else with her body, that she relax, take a deep breath, hold it for about 30 seconds, let it out slowly, and then asks the SOB to give her another reason why she should accept his fucked up opinion. The fact is, if the only reason he can give you as to why you should obey him is the fact that a “A God said you should do it” then you should just tell him to stick his fucking opinion up his ass. Why should you tell him that? Because why should an intelligent woman accept a statement from a man that God is telling you something to do that you personally haven’t heard God tell you to do.

I’m a Catholic girl but I can think back in time when men told you that if a woman didn’t wear a hat in church God would tell you it was a sin. I also remember  when men said eating meat on Friday was a sin because “God said so.” Today, men have changed their minds and now they tell us “God says it’s OK for you not to wear a hat in church” and “God says it’s OK for you to eat meat on Fridays.”

Think ladies. It’s just a man telling you what they say God said. Logically it follows suit that whatever else they say God says is just more BS to get you to do what they want you to do without having to justify it logically. (Now that makes sense, right?) No one argues with God so all a man has to say is “God said it.” Of course that only works if you accept that a man can hear something from God that you can’t.(!) So my suggestion is, the next time you’re on your knees praying to God, if God doesn’t say it’s true, it ain’t. Period.

So please ladies, pull your head out of your man’s ass and smell the air. If it smells like shit, it’s because it is shit.

Whatever men say about Hillary here’s something we know for certain: She, unlike the hypocritical piece of shit Bernie, was a team player. When Obama beat her after a tough fight, she joined the team, advised her followers to support the team, so that the Dems could win. She didn’t do it for party alone, but she did it because she felt Obama would make a good leader and would advance the causes  that she herself wanted to advance. I’d say that is one smart woman. We certainly can’t say that about any of the Republicans.

She sucked it up, governed her pride and ego so much that she agreed to work under the man who defeated her in her quest to be POTUS. She knew that she would have to do this for at least 8 years; almost a decade. Can you imagine? She, being the strong, dedicated person she is, who just happens to be a woman, paid her dues. In the process she became even more qualified because she served as the Secretary of State where she could help, advise, and support, the president to achieve his goals, both nationally and internationally. That is a person who truly has shown that she believes in “America first.” Again, the Republican men simply say it,  but their actions say what they really mean: “Me first and fuck American, unless I’m the one leading it.”

There are plenty of examples of this behavior. Take McCain who said, “America first.” When in fact he was willing to risk the safety and security of the USA by putting a totally unqualified person, Sarah Palin, in the 2nd position if something happened to him, just to get elected. Because he believed that having a woman would ensure his election. This was a LSOS who would put his own ambitions ahead of “America First.”

Say what you will about whether or not he was qualified for the position. The fact remains that is what he did. It is not up for argument. It is a fact. He put an unqualified person in the most key position in order to get to be POTUS. In any other situation, that would have disqualified this narcissistic, selfish SOB from being president, but white America represented by the Republican party, knowing that that was what he did, pretended otherwise in order to achieve the same thing he wanted to achieve…which was control of the office of POTUS above all else.

Therefore, he pandered to people who he knew were as hypocritical and despicable when they claimed  that they believed in “America first.” When actually they really believed in “America First” as long as we were POTUS. It was all about the ends justifying the means. And the rest was just sanctimonious bullshit.

Who did that party select the following year? They selected Romney. The BS really gets deep in this one. Because Romney was a man who had so little respect for women, he belonged to a cult we call Mormonism. Mormonism is a cult that supposedly religious evangelicals wouldn’t accept since it has no relationship to Jesus Christ whatsoever. The Mormon cult is a made up bunch of bullshit by a bunch of tiny penis white men who used religion as a way to legally round up women, practice pedophilia (most of the women they take as wives are under the logical age of consent, or are brainwashed to believe that a woman’s place is under a man’s lustful body)  and enslave them. They designed a religion around a concept of using woman as sex toys and justifying it by saying “God says its OK.”

Imagine sane people on the planet Earth believing Jesus Christ came to Utah, but he wasn’t Jesus Christ this time. He was some mythical creature on a planet who impregnated women, sent his male offspring to Earth to round up other women to impregnate. And in the process produce men, who would impregnate other women to produce men to be sent to individual planets where they were the only males to impregnate  a planet full of women.

You can’t make this shit up! Get a copy of the Mormon bible and read it. Could it be that sane people would take this dream by adolescent horny males as a religion? Yes, the Republican party did. The Evangelicals of the Republican party did. Evangelical,  people who claim to believe in Jesus Christ, to be born again in that belief. So are we to believe, the Republican Evangelicals who were supporting Romney believed they were born again as Mormons?

Otherwise those Republican Evangelicals were totally hypocritical bullshit artists. They were willing to do the same thing Judas did for a few pieces of silver (in their case, the office of POTUS). They were willing to cast aside their belief in Jesus Christ and accept Mormonism. They were willing to put into office, a man who believed this incredulous Mormonism bullshit.

By the way the founder of that BS religion who was a convicted criminal and a notorious liar among his own people, discovered the writings which founded this bullshit cult on, and get this, “Gold Tablets.” (Whenever religious BS is at its height, the thing that is supposed to make you believe it’s real is that the shit that they claim God said is written on something on Gold. – Hint – Only man thinks gold makes things important. God can put his words on a rock. Remember Moses, the Sinai, the Tablets, Ten Commandments?)

The bottom line is that the hypocritical Republican party puts their religion, and the fate of the country on this man, an anti-christ if there ever was one, in order to gain control of the White House. Try as the Republicans might, the fact is they were willing to compromise their beliefs, religious, and anything else if it meant they could control POTUS. Whenever the evangelical republican controlled party was with their republican nominee for the office of POTUS, Romney, the elephant in the room was, the anti-christ, Romney, was a Mormon, NOT a believer of Jesus Christ as described in any Christian Bible, and certainly not an Evangelical.

So why are we surprised that those same Evangelicals now support Donald Trump? McCain and the republican party was content to put that ignorant and throughly incompetent Palin in the second most important office in the world in order to become POTUS. The natural extension of that is they would now be willing to put a totally incompetent, racist, narcissistic misogynist in the office of POTUS.

Watch this space for the rest of this rant on that topic.

Now let’s keep it going.

Good morning!

We are on our way but a lot still needs to happen. So let’s celebrate Hillary’s nomination but know that it is disappointing…no deplorable, that it has taken so long for white women to support women, and not get lackadaisical. As Alycedale put it, “She hasn’t gotten the ring.” And I agree. We have to band together and make this happen. Our blog has been known to “flip” a few, so let’s make sure we do that here again.

Loving this write in celebration of Clinton’s nomination. From The Huff Po:

Hillary Clinton Became A Presidential Nominee And The Internet Celebrated In The Best Way

Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, gave a speech Tuesday night marking her historic achievement as the first woman to lead a major presidential party ticket in the United States.

It was a moment 227 years in the making, and the internet was more than ready to celebrate.

Efenia: Since most of the comments made yesterday were in Spanish, I couldn’t resist translating yours. You are very welcome. Happy to hear that. Deseandote lo mejor! (I hope that is correct. :)

To the commentators from yesterdays blog, and anyone else from South or Latin America, this one is for you. From Think Progress:

Thanks To Donald Trump, The RNC Just Lost A Crucial Hispanic Official

AP_229078021345-1024x699

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, known for his brash anti-immigrant, anti-Latino sentiment, may profess love for Latinos, but the feeling is far from mutual. In fact, he’s already holding to his campaign promise of driving out Latinos. This time, it’s an in-house job.

In the latest indication that Latino Americans feel uncomfortable with Trump’s rhetoric, Ruth Guerra, the Republican National Committee’s director of Hispanic media relations, will step down from her role at the end of this month — a “rare” move for party staff members particularly during a presidential campaign.

Guerra, whose parents are from Mexico and who grew up along the southern U.S. border in McAllen, Texas, will be resigning after nearly two years in the role.

The New York Times, which first broke the news, reported that Guerra had “told colleagues this year that she was uncomfortable working for Mr. Trump, according two R.N.C. aides who requested anonymity to speak candidly about the difficulties surrounding the party’s presumptive standard-bearer.”

“I’ve had a great nearly two years at the R.N.C., and I’m excited for the new opportunities that I will have at A.A.N,” Guerra said, though she did not mention Trump by name.

Since Trump’s campaign announcement last June, Guerra has had to defend him on television and in public appearances, which left her increasingly exhausted, the Washington Post reported.

AP_16104638263400-740x555

A sign sits near the site where Marcelo Lucero was killed in Patchogue, N.Y., on Wednesday, April, 13, 2016. The Rev. Alan Ramirez, an adviser to the family of Lucero, has called for Donald Trump to cancel a planned appearance at a Suffolk County Republican Committee fundraiser on Thursday, April 14, in Patchogue, because it is being held at a nightclub just blocks from where a gang of teenagers killed Lucero in November 2008.

Trump built his campaign on harsh rhetoric surrounding immigrants, particularly those of Hispanic descent. He has broadly characterized undocumented immigrants from Mexico as rapists, drug dealers, and criminals. He has also called to build up the border wall along the southern U.S.-Mexico border and to kick out the country’s 11.3 million undocumented population.

Guerra will be going to work at the right-leaning super PAC American Action Network, a move that would land her at a “less prestigious job at a super PAC, which focuses on down-ballot races and thus will not require her to defend Trump,” the Washington Post reported.

Guerra is not the only person whose exit has been expedited by Trump. At least two other Republican National Committee staff members — the director of African American outreach and communications director for black media — stepped down in March.

“As a Hispanic, I know that we have an opportunity with Hispanics/Latinos — they want to hear from us and want to know that we care,” Guerra previously said. “The Republican National Committee has been showing up and engaging with all communities like never before, but we can all do more and a lot more work needs to be done.”

*****

Readers: Not to mention his apparent racism towards U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel. The guy will not stop. That is unless we stop him. Any more repubs wanna join us over here on the Dem side?

Well…It’s Super Tuesday here in California and 5 other states (New Jersey, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota and South Dakota) A super important day. Get out and vote for Hillary, if you haven’t done so already. Let’s bring this home! Easy peasy, right?

Good Morning.

From Raw Story:

Jan Brewer calls for fewer female candidates: ‘This woman thing has gotten way out of control’

Former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R) argued on Sunday that too much emphasis has been placed on electing female candidates.

During a discussion on CNN about presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s possible running mates, host Jake Tapper asked Brewer if she would be interested in the job.

“Who made up that list? They didn’t put me on there,” Brewer complained. “Of course, I would be — I would be willing to serve in any capacity that I could be of help with Donald on.”

“Do you think he needs to pick a woman?” Tapper wondered. “Given how bad his numbers are with women.”

“I don’t necessarily think you need to pick a woman,” Brewer insisted. “You know, this woman thing has gotten way out of control I believe.

“And I think it’s been driven by the left,” she remarked. “Because they think that it’s going to bring them over the end. But I think people, when they sit down to vote, they vote for the very best candidate. They want somebody that’s going to represent them.”

*****

Readers: “This woman thing has gotten way out of control…” “….They vote for the very best candidate – they want somebody who is going to represent them.” Hell, all I want to say is this man thing has gotten way out of control. Right? It’s time for a woman to show what she can do.

Actually, no, I have more to say. In my opinion she’s basically saying a man is going to represent a woman better than a woman. Hell no. In all the years of men running this country I cannot agree. I can only run with Brewer’s statement if the woman representing women is Brewer herself  (And a few others that I shall not name – you know the women I’m referring to) because no doubt, she clearly thinks women have their place (In the kitchen, and barefoot and pregnant to name a few), and it isn’t beside a man and certainly not in front of him calling the shots on women’s concerns, issues, and God forbid, their bodies. We’ll leave that up to men to make those decisions.

No thank you, Brewer. Been there done that. It’s a woman’s turn to take a stab at turning this country around. Brewer, if you think this woman thing has gotten way out of control, you haven’t seen nothing yet.  C’mon girls let’s get out of control, and show her and all the other women out there who feel like Brewer, and take our rightful place. The time is now.

Trump’s Accusations Against Clinton Rises To Unprecedented Levels

Good morning!

I realize that Trump is getting more air time than any other presidential candidate but sometimes one just can’t help posting a write about him. This time the “one” is me and it is one of those times.

From Reuters:

Trump, aiming to offset money disadvantage, escalates Clinton attacks

WASHINGTON/NEW YORK – Donald Trump this week took his use of sordid accusations against Democrat Hillary Clinton to levels unprecedented in modern U.S. presidential campaigns, in the latest example of the Republican’s unorthodox playbook.

The presumptive Republican nominee is working to gain stronger footing and offset a big advantage Clinton is likely to have ahead of the Nov. 8 presidential election – a huge campaign war chest that she and her allies intend to use to launch a barrage of attacks against him.

Trump is using the same strategy he used repeatedly during the Republican nomination fight against rivals like Ted Cruz – making incendiary statements that U.S. television networks can’t resist covering, giving him hours of free media and putting his opponents on the defensive.

The strategy may already be working.

Trump has raised more than a few eyebrows with his latest round of attacks against Clinton. He has turned history into headlines that play like a virtual reel in the 24-hour news world of cable TV and the internet.

Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowsi, said the strategy makes sense.

“Clearly, she’s going to have massive amounts of money,” Lewandowski told Reuters. “The difference is Mr. Trump has funded his campaign. What we’ve been able to do in this campaign cycle is to generate earned media based on Mr. Trump’s ability to be a straight talker, and genuine and authentic, and I think that’s what drives the news cycle.”

Trump’s latest salvos include a rape accusation against former President Bill Clinton dating to the 1970s and the suicide of an aide to the former president in 1993 – events that the campaign links to Hillary Clinton.

An online video released by Trump has various women accusing the former president of rape or unwanted sexual advances. Trump accused Hillary Clinton of helping to silence the women. The Clintons and their supporters have dismissed the charges as baseless and politically motivated.

Then, in an interview with The Washington Post, Trump suggested that the Clintons may have been involved in the 1993 death of Vince Foster, a former aide to Bill Clinton and a friend of Hillary Clinton, even though more than five investigations, including one conducted by Republican special prosecutor Kenneth Starr, concluded Foster committed suicide in a Virginia park.

Trump was alluding to theories over the years that have been circulated in tabloid publications, in the depths of the internet and in books by the Clintons’ foes.

The attacks have put Clinton on her back foot.

Trump “just continues to gobble news cycle after news cycle,” said Republican pollster Kellyanne Conway, who ran the Super PACs that backed Senator Ted Cruz in the primary and aggressively attacked Trump. “Clinton is spending less time campaigning about the future and more time explaining the past than she would probably like.”

The barrage puts Clinton in a bind. So far, she has opted to ignore Trump’s personal attacks and her campaign has offered general pushback. But Clinton risks the negative onslaught dragging down her standing in the public and irreversibly damaging her general election hopes.

“I played a lot of hardball in my life, but I don’t envy what the Clinton campaign is up against here. Trump himself has totally changed the political dynamic,” said Jim Manley, a Democratic strategist who supports Clinton. “What they can’t afford to do is get in the gutter with the guy. He has absolutely no morals or scruples. Getting into the gutter with him is an absolute waste of time.”

Clinton’s campaign and the Super PACs supporting her will not be without funds to try to combat the attacks and launch her own. At the end of April, she had $30 million in her campaign account, compared with Trump’s $2 million.

And the PAC supporting her, which can raise and spend unlimited amounts of money, had $46 million at the end of April – a total that is likely to grow over the summer. The PAC backing Trump is just getting off the ground.

Clinton will also depend on an army of surrogates to try to combat Trump without having to respond to him herself.

Trump has already proven he can dispatch opponents without spending much money by defining them to voters through aggressive appearances on news programs.

Republican rival Jeb Bush had a more than $100 million advantage going into the primary. But Trump painted him as “low energy” and defined him as inept, a characterization Bush’s money was never able to overcome.

The PACs backing Republican Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz spent millions assailing Trump. Trump was able to leverage extensive coverage of his campaign by the media to combat their attacks while spending little money on advertising.

Trump has been proven an expert at raising attack lines that have already been settled, but insisting that questions remain. He spent years demanding that President Barack Obama produce his birth certificate, despite myriad evidence that Obama was born in Hawaii, including government records of the president’s birth in Honolulu.

For Trump, some of the attacks are targeted at young voters – those in their early 20s and 30s were too young to have been immersed in news about the scandals of the Clinton years.

“You have a whole series of the population who either (a) don’t know anything about it, or (b) weren’t paying attention at the time,” Lewandowski said.

A Clinton ally said Trump is simply trying to distract attention from his own liabilities – such as refusing to release his tax returns and his own history of problems with women.

“The more he raises these outrageous and outlandish charges,” said U.S. Representative Xavier Becerra, of California, a Democratic leader in the House, “the more he keeps you pedaling in a different direction.”

Readers: You can click over if you want to watch a short video. I didn’t feel like posting it here. Although I did view it, I was mostly watching the women in the video cheering Trump on. Why oh why would any woman vote for a man who is a misogynist is beyond my reasoning. A girlfriend of mine the other day said of Trump becoming the president, “At least we’ll have fun.” She was dead serious. Yeah…I know. The logic escapes me.

OH…by the way…don’t ya think Trump needs to be added to the “LSOS” Club?

On a more pleasant note…I can’t tell you how thrilled I am that so many of you are with me again. I had no idea if starting up again would pan out but it looks like we’re going to have plenty of back and forth badinage during this unbelievable election year.

So…let’s get it going. Tell me what’s on your mind. Blog me.
