A Quick Hello And I’ve Got To Go….

Posted by Michelle Moquin on 27th May 2009

Good morning readers: Our electricity has been on and off all morning…and only on for a few minutes at a time. It looks like we have a short somewhere and it is leaving me with little time to post.  So I am going to be quick about it this morning, and just check in, say hello and sign off.

Hafa Adai Anna – how are you?

Lois:  In my opinion I agree too – he does rule for the white man’s interests….And Robert: Taking it even further you You ask some excellent questions too. I’m all about questioning…love to ask questions, especially when I am trying to make a point as you are doing. Notice how coming from you, many agree with what you have to say or they say nothing at all? But when I make some derogatory remarks about white men….watch out, the daggers come flying – I find it amusing.

Al: Touché

TAO & Maddie: I am happy that Tony is back – I hope he is doing well and I also hope that the Climax comes back soon, safe and sound.

Sorry I can not say anymore…I have lost my internet connection so many times the past hour and I am afraid I won’t be able to post.

Peace out….

“Men Would Not Be Able To Cheat…”

Posted by Michelle Moquin on 12th April 2009

Good morning. I just wanted to say hello since I have said nothing the past two days.  I have left it up to all of you to do the talking and talking you did!

‘The happily ever after’ video seems to have struck a cord with many of you women who thought that you had found your ‘prince’ only to discover that he was lying and cheating on you. Mrs Crocker, Ruth, Malini, Anna, Mika, Bella, Karen, Sandra, Shulgareh, Shawn: Thank you for sharing your stories and thoughts.

I just have to add something here. The thing that gets me is women who have affairs with married men, and know they are married. It is one thing to have a one nighter unknowingly…we know many men will take off that ring for an evening and pretend they are not married. Some men will even get away with the lie for a time, but watch out if and when the woman finds out you have been lying and you really are married.

But when a woman knows from the beginning that the man she is fucking is a married man, and she is aware that he is cheating on his wife to be with her,  that really pisses me off. And some women only go after married men. What is that all about? There have only been one or two times in my life that a woman friend of mine has informed me of an affair that she was having with a married man. Believe me, I gave her my two. I tell them to step inside the other woman’s shoes….’cause honey, in the end if you end up with him, guess what? You’ll be wearing those shoes…He’ll be cheating on you too. Don’t even think for one second that he won’t.

One of the biggest mistakes a woman makes is to ever think that she is going to be the one that he will be faithful to, when he cheated on his last love to be with her. – Ha! Don’t ever think that you can be the one to change your cheating man into a faithful husband. If you do, you’re a fool.  If you know this and are willing to accept his cheating ways because you have to have him so badly….fine. At least you know what you’re getting into when you decided to be with him. But don’t ever think for a second he’ll change and be faithful, or you will be very disappointed.

And another big mistake women make is thinking the cheating man will leave his wife for you.  I mean think about it. Hello…He’s fucking his wife and you. He’s got the best of both worlds. Unless he can’t stand his wife, is not sleeping with her anymore, and was planning on leaving her,  why would he divorce his wife to be with you when he already gets to be with you and he has his wife to go home to?

Women think that when they give it up, sex that is, that is what will keep the man interested….that is what will get the man to leave his wife and come to her. Oh…that is not always the case.  Women think that men cheat because they are unhappy in their marriage. That may be true, but some men will also cheat when they are perfectly content in their marriage because if they think they can get away with it, they will. Some of the comments we read the other day proves that. You may think he wants you for more than sex, and he may.  But, if all he wants is sex from you and he’s content in his marriage, most likely he is not even thinking of leaving his wife just for you.  Again, why would he?

Girls: All that being said, men would not be able to cheat on their wives as easily, if women didn’t have affairs with married men. It is as simple as that. Women need to realize this and stop screwing over other women.  Are there not enough men out there to go after, that you have to go after another woman’s man?

If I were single I would never even consider being with a married man if I knowingly knew he was married. And if a married man approached me, giving me the story that he was not happy in his marriage and planning on leaving his wife, I would most certainly question him, and not take his words for face value. I would tell him to get his shit together and contact me when he was divorced…and then maybe I’d think about seeing him, that is, if I was interested

~~~~~~~~
Hi Robert:  How are you? American Violet sounds like a very empowering and inspiring movie. I look forward to checking it out. Thanks for posting.  Readers: If you want a peek – check out the trailer. Dee Roberts is one bad ass bitch – these white men screwed with the wrong girl.
Anna: I am sorry for Guam’s loss of Victor Wuerch. We need more people like him fighting for the protection of our environment.
Well I wanted to comment on yesterday’s video but I’ll save that for tomorrow…or maybe not. We’ll see.
Happy Sunday and Happy Easter to those of you celebrating!
If Animals Can Do It Why Can’t We?
Posted by Michelle Moquin on 5th April 2009
Animals have always been a loving inspiration to me. This video, an oldie but a goodie, begs to ask the question:
If animals can get along with each other across species lines, why can’t humans do it across racial lines?
Oh…how different the world would be if we all looked past our differences, and gave love and support to each other, without regard to race, sex, creed or color.  Mothers may embody instinctual love and care – but everyone is capable of stepping out of their egoist minds, disolving their own prejudices, and expressing love and care for others.   All it takes is the desire to do so.
Readers: This goes back to my question from yesterday’s article.  Whether it be love towards an animal in need of companionship, or a fellow human that is different from yourself….what can you do today to bring love and joy into someone’s life?
Peace & Love: “Live it, Give it!”
The Jon Stewart vs Jim Cramer Showdown
Posted by Michelle Moquin on 15th March 2009
Good morning.
I feel as if I have a lot of catching up to do. Yesterday was challenging and I barely had any time to write, let alone read any of your comments.  I did. But unlike most times when I am able to respond to your comments, these past few days time has slipped by. Today is no different,  so bear with me….this is just how it is right now.  And my computer is running so slow today…it is a bit frustrating. Now I know how frustrated all of you must feel when you are trying to comment and you just can’t get in.  Okay enough of the excuses…let’s chat.
As I said, I was able to read your comments and while persuing them, I did notice that a few were unapproved waiting to be approved.
Anonymous Aka anon3: Just FYI for the future, if you include more than 1 url in your comment, your comment will be held for approval. This is to avoid those that want to spam me promoting their business etc. I did notice this morning that you had tried several times to get your comment in with the 3 urls included, as they were waiting to be approved.  I appreciate your persistency in wanting us to have the information by continually trying to post your comment.  I  approved the comment that listed them.  Thank you.
I have to just interject here and let my mind go in the direction it wants to….that’s one of the things that I love about writing my blog. I can just take time out from one topic and switch to whatever topic comes to mind. So again, bear with me and my A.D.D. this morning (attention deficit disorder :)
I just have to honor President Obama this morning. Obama’s stimulus plan and his budget may not be perfect, but I believe that he is doing the best job that he can considering the circumstances, and the people he is up against. I mean come on….look at how much he has already done in the short amount of time he has been in office.  He doesn’t waste any time putting into motion what needs to happen. He is quite amazing and we all need to realize this.  I totally support him. We are asking so much from him and he is delivering. And I ask again…just what are you doing to support him?
On another note…I read Anonz’s post via his contact, but I really didn’t get the chance to read the article linked to it….Yet.  However, when I clicked over and noticed that the headline read: Jim Cramer Uses CNBC to Manipulate Stocks, I felt a bit amused. Only for the reason that Jim Cramer was the exact topic that I was planning on writing about today. Him and Jon Stewart that is.
Did any of you see the Jon Stewart Show the other night? I didn’t but I did see the videos of the show on youtube. It was brill! He was going at it with Jim Cramer from CNBC’S Mad Money.
I haven’t watched Mad Money much but although his show is supposedly entertainment, I think some people actually take Cramer seriously.  And I think he pushes the boundaries a bit when he pretends he is giving solid researched advice. Sadly, I don’t think that many people know the difference and that some people actually do take his advice as solid.  Scary but true.
That being said, I think Jon stewart was pretty amazing for doing what no one else has been willing to do, and his grilling over CNBC and Cramer is long overdue.  Stewart was persistent, intelligent, and honest,  and didn’t allow Cramer to sneak away.  He demanded an explanation. I just loved it. Steward needs to call out the rest of CNBC and drag them onto his show. Bring it on Stewart – keep it coming!
Here is the exclusive, uncensored, complete three-part interview below. Check it out…
Readers: Cool yes? I’d love to hear your thoughts.  On the above and anything else.  I have a feeling that my topic and Anonz’s might have a similar vein but as I mentioned I have not read his yet. So you tell me.  Blog me.
But enough about Stewart. What about the rest of us? Now it’s time for us to step up. Quit watching shows like Cramer’s and others that contributed to our financial downfall. And boycott the sponsors of those shows. It’s time to take our country back.
Ah…I am so grateful for the power of the internet. It allows us to spread the word and be heard. Keep  talking peeps, I love the banter.
Gratefully your blog host,
michelle
