Ya  know…I got this sent to me in my email and I thought, ‘How cute –  I just love elephants!’  But then I proceeded to watch this video and what I saw next just tripped me out!

Warning: This video is not for the squeamish!

I can not imagine this happening and I question…How did it happen? Bizarre. This is a new version of a butt plug sans the thrill….well maybe for the man but I bet the elephant was thrilled. He just didn’t want to let go – made his day.  But the guy…Talk about a seriously unwanted mud pack not to mention a bad hair day…Ugh!! I can just hear the guy say, ‘I didn’t want to do the job, but I got sucked into it!” Ahahaaahhhaha!!

Well Readers: Did ya laugh or was it just totally horrifying?  I myself cracked up. :) Don’t be mad…Give me a break, it’s the weekend – I just had to.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
ZL: You are too cool – Thanks so much! Lucy sends a big wet kiss kiss!
Hello Adam:  How goes it? Thank you for breaking it all down for me. I appreciate your thoroughness and the time and energy you spent. Reading your assertion, I felt a bit frustrated because it seems in your opinion, there was nothing different Hercules could’ve done but play it out the way that he did and roll with it.  You asked, If the gods have it in for you what can you actually do to change what they have in mind for you to experience?’  But what about his father Zeus – he too was a God, in fact the most powerful one.  He did not have the hatred that Hera had towards him. So what was Zeus doing this entire time as he observed his sons adventures?
You mentioned that no matter what Hercules did, Hera would see to it that his life was miserable. I am aware that his bad temper was caused by Hera through her constant bombardment of bad breaks.  BUT, could Hercules, and I am not saying this is easy, but if he knew that his life was being manipulated, (I know that he was not aware of this) or even if he didn’t as is the case, could he not have reacted to his circumstances differently even if the outcome was the same?  You said if you were him you would’ve hoped that you would’ve been less violent. Yes, the outcome would’ve been the same but his life may have not been as miserable with a change of attitude. Meaning…could he have let life flow over him, with the mindset, ‘I don’t mind what happens’ or ‘This too shall pass’, which would result in an easier, less stressful life.  Maybe his only mistake is how he reacted to his circumstances. If one is destined to have certain circumstances happen no matter what they do, would it not be easier to just accept and not fight? I know…easier said than done. And the fact still remains as you pointed out, his  ”‘bad temper” was caused by Hera’s manipulation of every key moment in his life. So could he have controlled his emotions at all?
Let’s play….what advice would you give him if you did not know a God was manipulating his life?
There must’ve been a reason his father Zeus did not step in to protect him or alter the circumstances. Or, maybe Zeus did step in at times and maybe Hercules’ life would’ve been much worse had he not. Was it a test? Was Hercules’ reward for his struggles, the attainment of immortality after his brutal death?
I am enjoying this Adam – Thank you. I look forward to reading your reply. Hey, How is AH doing?
Hi Sheikh:  How are you? Hmmm…Ya don’t say?!…very interesting. I would like to see these blogs that are a direct copy of mine. How about providing the links? I want to check these out even if I can’t read them. Thanks.
Keepin’ it short (or so I thought:) and…well, not so sweet – be safe and watch where you’re goin’ today.
Is it possible that Roe v. Wade could be turned over in this day and age?
Posted by michellemoquin on 21st June 2008
Three times this past week I have gotten something in the mail from either the Center for Reproductive Rights or the Feminist Majority Foundation.   I decided that maybe I should open up one and see what was going on.  It wasn’t the first time that I have received mail like this but it has been really a long time since I had read one. It’s not that I don’t care about women’s right- you know I do!  But I seem to spend most of my volunteering time for those that can’t speak for themselves: The animals, and lately for the environment with this spray thing still being fought in Northern california which will have an effect on humans too. But that is another story.
Anyway, I decided to open up the envelopes that were collecting on my desk.  The first one I read shocked me.  Why? -  I don’t know. I am aware that living in California, is much like living in another country. It is so easy to just go on with my day and forget that people in other states are constantly fighting for their right to choose….a right that I don’t take for granted but a right that I know I have, at least for the time being.   But, it is a different story in Jackson Mississippi.  Haley Barbour, the Governor, along with anti-abortion extremists  are vowing to shut down the last abortion clinic in the entire state! The entire state! This is unbelievable but it is happening.
Zip on over to Manila, Philippines:
Tina asked for a tubal ligation after her fourth child, but the hospital no longer offered the service. Now she has eight children and is trying to feed her family on $3.28 a day.
Another woman Susan was advised by her doctor not to have any more children because of severe health risks  – yet her doctor was prohibited from providing contraception or sterilization.
And in Hungary:
A woman under going surgery for a miscarriage, was asked to give permission for a caesarean section.  She was unaware that the forms she signed contained consent for sterilization. The words were barely legible and written in Latin. Only after she was sterilized did she discover she had agreed to a procedure that would make her permanently infertile!
Can you imagine any of this happening to you?
Threats to reproductive freedom are real and gaining strength everyday – It’s right in line with pharmacists who refuse to fill prescriptions for birth control because of ‘their’ moral beliefs.  I would go ape if my pharmacist refused my right to pop a pill.
Look at (EC) Emergency Contraception. In 2006 it finally got approved but with unacceptable limitations: Access was limited to only women over the age of 18 with a government-issued identification, and who were not afraid to ask the pharmacist to get it from behind the counter.  This limitation effects the most vulnerable population:  Young women and undocumented women.
All over the world including our own country,  it is a constant fight for women to be able to choose, and for women to feel safe and supported in their choices.
But for the first time in decades, we women are truly in danger of losing our essential right to choose. Roe v. Wade is under attack by those who feel we should not have a reproductive choice.  The forces are strong and determined….
Just last April three decades of law was swept away in one year. That is all the time it took for Bush’s Supreme Court to overturn thirty years of precedent by upholding  the Federal Abortion Ban. They might as well have put up a banner stating that women’s health is no longer  a real concern! What does this mean for women? Well for starters, the Supreme Courts Abortion Ban Ruling now paves the way for state and federal legislatures to  approve additional bans on abortions as early as 12 weeks, even on those that doctors say are safe and medically necessary. Readers: Are you aware of this? Anonz:  This is right in light with those ‘appointed’ Supreme Court judges that you mentioned in your comment….more on that later.
Do you realize how much is at stake with what has just happened? Already ten states have introduced sixteen bans that criminalize abortion! Okay…let’s paint a picture…You’re having sex with your man; and you happen to be on ‘the pill’. (Thankfully you have a pharmacist that is happy to fill your prescription!) And it just so happens that you had a cold for the past few days so you’ve been pumping up on the vit C – bad move…the overdose of it negated the pill and surprise…you’re pregnant. You’re also screwed ’cause now you need an abortion. You happen to be living in one of those states where abortion is a felony and physicians performing the operation can go to prison. What’s a woman to do?
I know what we can’t do….We can’t get lazy or complacent on this one. A complete reversal of Roe v. Wade is now within the realm of possibility.
Readers:  Comments?
Hey Lill: I didn’t mean to sting you with that procrastination bit – sorry – I just figured that because you had joked about it quite a few times on my blog that you just accepted that you were that way….and it was no big deal to you.  I meant no dig at you, but hey maybe it stirred something up?  Maybe your calling is getting on everyone’s ass to ‘just do it’…have you ever thought of life coaching? I bet you’d be great at it!
How was the GNO last night?
Thanks for posting Anonz’s comments to Ed- wow! – I need to read that thoroughly before I say anymore. I only perused it quickly ’cause I had a really busy day yesterday, but that is some good s**t. I think my readers will get off on that one.
Hi Anonz: Whew….You really are on top of it! – enjoyed your comments. Will read it again more thoroughly. In addition to your comments about oil, national debt…don’t know if you’re all caught up on my reads. You might enjoy:   ‘Political Party Poop’
Hey are you still in local? ‘The Economist’ along with ‘The Second City’, a renowned comedy theatre troupe is putting on a political satire at the Yerba Buena Center here in SF on June 26th, ‘The Art of Political Satire’.  I plan on going – you might like it too.
Have a great Saturday everyone – it is heating up already!
“I married the Berlin Wall!”
Posted by michellemoquin on 10th June 2008
Have you ever been in love with something?  ‘Thing’ being the operative word here. Many people have fetishes; usually to a particular part of the body that isn’t necessarily considered sexual. But we’re not talking about part of a human body. We are talking about an inanimate object.  Yes, you read this right – Ya gotta love humans and our emotions!
People who fall ‘in love’ with an inanimate object have what they call ‘Objectophilia’ or ‘Objectum-Sexuals’.  They just don’t love this thing, say like, ‘I love my new jeans!’  Nope…these people literally ‘feel love’, are ‘in love’ and want to ‘marry’ the object they are in enamored with! They want to have sex and relationships with them; their passion as ardent as any human relationship.  And believe it or not, many do.  In fact, feeling anything like this towards another human, one of their own kind, seems ludicrous.
One woman woke up one morning knowing that her husband was going to be executed that morning.  His crime?  The sole fact that he existed.  Her ‘husband” was the Berlin Wall.  She married the wall in 1979 and 10 years later she watched as her ‘husband’ was brutally destroyed and murdered with hammers, as people tore chunks from his ‘body’.  This scene devastated and traumatized her  just like any woman would feel loosing her ‘husband’. Oh and by the way, she was once engaged to a guillotine for a while, but they broke it off, though they remain friends.
Just like in human to human relationships, issues crop up in ‘Objectum-Sexual relationships.  One ‘in love’ with an object can even feel the same guilt when meeting another object of affection that one wants to have an ‘affair’ with.  One man who was in a ‘relationship’ with his beloved steam locomotive quite often ‘cheated’ because he was particularly aroused by the inner workings of mechanical objects.  A simple repair job lead to ‘affairs’. Oh..incidentally his relationship with his ‘steam loco’ (I like the shorter name ’cause who wouldn’t think it was crazy to be in love with something like this in the first place!) partner is ‘male’ to him so technically he is in a ‘gay’ ‘Objectum-Sexual’ relationship.
Could it get any stranger?
Readers: Know anybody like this?  Or are you one.  I’ve always had a strong attraction to my butt plug – does that count? Ahhahhahaaahhahhh!!!!
Sex and the City
Posted by michellemoquin on 31st May 2008
So I gathered with a bunch of girls for a pre-party to the opening of the ‘Sex and the City’ movie last night.  And I know we weren’t the only ones  anxiously waiting for the opening night to come. In fact as I was driving to Marin to meet the girls, I received a phone call from another ‘sex..’ fan inviting me to another party/movie that evening – she had acquired an extra ticket to the show.  I of course could not make it and wished her a wonderful time. There were parties all over the country with women decked out in their ‘sex’ attire.  Our party wasn’t  any different. We got all dressed up with the appropriate ‘sex’ shoes and sipped on champagne and all sorts of libations while munching on treats and chit chatting. It was a marvelous beginning to a girls night out.  The Energy was high and by the time we strolled to the theater we were too!
Amazingly all seven of us got to sit together which was highly advantageous since we had a bottle or two of bubbly to share in the theater – giggles all around :) The movie was simply entertaining at it’s best and the costume changes were a visual feast to say the least. Even though, I have to admit some were questionable…but all in fun. Not to mention the usual witty script doused with sexual connotations throughout, AND some pretty hot sex scenes, if I may add. Juicy and delicious!
I don’t want to give anything away…if you are a ‘sex…’ fan, this is a must see.  And even if you aren’t – believe it or not, one of my girlfriends has NEVER EVER seen an episode, and she was laughing and crying throughout the entire movie.  Her fav character?  Samantha. She loved it and is now ‘hooked’.
I loved it just as I expected I would.  There were some pretty intense scenes between the girls and as usual I am always taken by their love and commitment to each other.  It is a your typical chick flick but not typical in any other way.  I absolutely loved it and would see it again. And hey guys…there were men there too diggin’ it.
^^^^^^^^^^
Well, well…what a delightful surprise! Hello - Welcome back Anonz! - You are a true hero!  Happy that you made it back with your skull in tact and your mind still sharp.  How are you? You have missed a lot – how much back tracking on my blog have you done? All caught up?
I am sure that my readers would appreciate seeing your photos, as well as Zen Lill’s readers – why not send some to both of us if you don’t mind.  I would be happy to post them.  In fact as I am thinking about it…why not be a guest blogger?   You could tell an adventure or two….I don’t mean to but I tend to push too hard too sometimes :) But I know my readers and I would find your ravings very interesting and revealing to say the least. Your anonymity is safe with me I can assure you. So…what do you think?  Blog or email me.
Anyway…you are living in our neck of the woods – how wonderful is that? Look forward to hearing more from you.
ZL:  You know I would love to see you! Not sure where, but it has been too long.  Let’s chat via my email…that weekend may or may not work with the ‘house’ thing and now I’ve got two other ‘staging’ jobs.  Looks like my new career is on it’s way.  Oh yeah, guess I forgot….I did want to blog about ‘staging’ at some point.  Stay tuned.
I did check out the read on yours…I enjoyed it! Oh and before I forget, I will have no problem with you choices for ‘candidate day’. I was thinking Wed. Myself.  Readers:  Any comments on that subject?
Enjoy the day!
