Clinton And Tomason Erased From “Situation Room Photo”

Good morning!

The other day, Doug pointed out to me that he read an article stating how an Hasidic newspaper in Brooklyn, N.Y., ran a photoshopped copy of the iconic “Situation Room Photo” last Friday. If you haven’t seen the photo it is the one taken of Obama and his national security team during the raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound.

Why was it photoshopped? Well, as stated by the newspaper,  ”Because of laws of modesty, we are not allowed to publish pictures of women.” Hence, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and director of counterterrorism Audrey Tomason, were erased out, so to speak, of the photo before it went to print.

Here’s the video, the write, and the before and after photos for your viewing:

Listen to this man use religion as an excuse to discriminate against women. All the while claiming to respect women. So you say you respect women, but then, you don’t respect women in public office? Just what are you saying? Sickening isn’t it?

Can you imagine living In the neighborhood where signs are posted telling women how high they can wear their skirts or to not wear “tight-fitting clothing”?  If you notice you will see by his dress and hair style how far sexually inept men will go to enable them to use religion to repress women. He is the poster child for this.

And ala Mika Brzezinski, who I blogged  about the other day, those women who accept this kind of treatment, support the men who tell them they are better than other women because they are chaste in the eyes of God, because it is they, the other women, who tempt men to be evil by exposing more flesh than a man can mentally take. Don’t you just love how men promote themselves to be so strong, yet they claim the slightest peak of a leg will over power their strong minds?

Yeah right. It’s the same same old story. We (the men) control our women…repress our women. But hey, if they get out of hand…if they show too much leg, wrist, face…whatever, and tempt me, I will not be able to control myself.  And by the way, it’s all your (the women’s) fault.

(CNN) – Faith has outweighed fact at Di Tzeitung, a Hasidic newspaper based in Brooklyn, New York.

The ultra-Orthodox Jewish publication ran a doctored copy of the iconic “Situation Room Photo” last Friday – you know, the one taken of President Barack Obama and his national security team during the raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound.

Scrubbed from the picture: the two women in the room.

It’s as if Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, with her hand clasped over her mouth, and Audrey Tomason, director of counterterrorism, weren’t there and weren’t part of history.

The newspaper later apologized for violating White House instructions against altering photos.

“We should not have published the altered picture, and we have conveyed our regrets and apologies to the White House and to the State Department,” the newspaper said in a statement Monday.

The news of this broke Friday when Shmarya Rosenberg, 52, posted a quick piece on his blog Failed Messiah.

Rosenberg, of St. Paul, Minnesota, said he wasn’t surprised by the photo doctoring and only posted something about it because “it was a slow news day.”

A former ultra-Orthodox Jew, Rosenberg has been writing about the ultra-Orthodox community – mostly about crime and what he dubbed “strange media” – for seven years. He said the newspapers in that community have become “increasingly strange with their censorship of women’s faces and women’s bodies” over the past few years.

He said readers of the Yiddish-language paper used to see photos of rabbis with their wives and that there was then a time when the women were blurred. Now, they’re just not there.

But in a written statement issued Monday afternoon by Di Tzeitung, the newspaper said that its decision to leave women out of photos is religiously mandated and that the right to do so is protected by the U.S. Constitution.

“The First Amendment to the Constitution guarantees freedom of religion. That has precedence even to our cherished freedom of the press,” the statement said.  “Publishing a newspaper is a big responsibility, and our policies are guided by a Rabbinical Board.

“Because of laws of modesty, we are not allowed to publish pictures of women, and we regret if this gives an impression of disparaging women, which is certainly never our intention,” it continued. “We apologize if this was seen as offensive.”

But offensive it was to Robin Bodner, executive director of the Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance.

At JOFA, “we educate and advocate for increased ritual, spiritual and leadership opportunities for women within Jewish law. And sometimes we get the feeling that men wish women were not even in the room,” Bodner told CNN in a written statement.

“This picture by [an ultra-Orthodox] newspaper goes a step further by revising history to remove important women leaders from the historic room in which they were present.  It reminds us of how much work is still to be done!”

Within Judaism, there are a number of denominations – Reform, Conservative, Reconstructionist and modern Orthodox, to name some – and ultra-Orthodox Judaism accounts for just one branch of the faith. And within all of these branches, matters of Jewish law and obligation are often debated.

It’s worth noting that the White House included its standard instruction with the photo caption when the image was released:

This official White House photograph is being made available only for publication by news organizations and/or for personal use printing by the subject(s) of the photograph. The photograph may not be manipulated in any way and may not be used in commercial or political materials, advertisements, emails, products, promotions that in any way suggests approval or endorsement of the President, the First Family, or the White House.

“We’re not going to comment” on this matter, a White House senior official told CNN.

The leadership at Di Tzietung, though, apologized for breaking official White House photo rules.

“Our photo editor realized the significance of this historic moment, and published the picture, but in his haste he did not read the ‘fine print’ that accompanied the picture, forbidding any changes,” the newspaper said in its Monday statement.

Furthermore, Di Tzeitung noted the Orthodox community’s respect for Clinton, who served as a senator in New York for eight years.

“She won overwhelming majorities in the Orthodox Jewish communities … because the religious community appreciated her unique capabilities and compassion to all communities,” the statement said. “The allegations that religious Jews denigrate women or do not respect women in public office is a malicious slander and libel.”

Readers: Anything to say…say it here. Blog me.

Rick: Welcome. There is no theme. I know..I know…blogs are supposed to have a “theme”. Nope I don’t. Never wanted to. I like to blog about whatever I feel like, and I do so. As far as my readers and the conversations…well…it is kind of like a soap opera…the stories just keep twisting and turning, changing and developing…One will be the hot topic of the day, only to be lead to another, and then we meander back to the original. Nobody keeps score – what score is there to keep? It does keep it interesting though doesn’t it? If you read long enough you’ll get the drift. :)

Brad: No, you are totally incorrect. I do not have favorites but I do have regulars, and yes they do hold a special place because they have been loyal readers.  And for some reason they seem to get in easier than most. Perhaps it is their loyalty, I don’t know. But do keep trying. It is the luck of the draw and not the luck of my paw. I have nothing to do with it. Shame on you for suggesting otherwise.

AH: I have never read such a delightful description on being pussy-whipped till I read your write. How wonderfully revealing and honest. How women all around the world are wishing that the man of their dreams would say such words and truly mean it with the passion that you possess. A fine hello back to you.

Bruce: Too long to tell. :)

Zen Lill: I  thought about you when I posted it because I know you are tweeting now. Happy that it was helpful for you.

Mike: Nice to see you here again. Thanks for substantiating and sharing that valuable info.

Tim: Well you got in this time. I liked it.

Scott: Happy to hear your conscious about how shitty females are treated.  So… you’re on our side? Great.  Which third are you? – HOPEfully the one third doing something.

Anonymous: How dare you, a man, come onto my blog and ask for my help. Where were you when the women needed their mens’ help? Where were you when Gadaffi’s men raped and brutally disfigured and killed your women? And you’re worried about your precious city…your historical buildings.

Fuck your beautiful city – I could care less if it’s being destroyed. Your beautiful women are being destroyed, and you obviously care more about buildings and less about them…less about human lives. I have no compassion for men like you, nor will I ever help men like you unless you change and love and respect your women with a passion like you say you love and respect your city…your country. Go save your women and treat them as equals, not less than animals, and then come back and ask me for help. Until then, you will get no help from me.

Peace & Love: “Live it, Give it”

Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my “loyal”(?) readers. With all this back and forth about who owns what, that appears on my blog, let me reiterate that all material posted on my blog becomes the sole property of my blog. If you want to reserve any proprietary rights don’t post it to my blog. I will prominently display this caveat on my blog from now on to remind those who may have forgotten this notice.

“because of laws of modesty,” as IF their “laws of modesty” were written in our DNA as some natural part of mankind’s biology.

Hello, you assholes we know those were “laws” you tiny dick misogynists made up and enacted to control women and deny them the knowledge that other cultures don’t discriminate against women the way you do.

Tiny dick men resort to their male god who always manages to write a law of modesty for women while leaving men to dress like bums to come up with an excuse to deny women the rights they want for themselves.

The Bush family with key members of the republican party is planning to slip Jef bush into the presidential race at the last moment. They have the backing of the Saudi billions and those heavily invested in oil and the military industrial complex.

The Saudis have been quietly buying up the various sources for competition to their oil reserves and shelving them. The republican party has vetoed or sabotaged every attempt of Obama and the dems to modernize the energy grid of the nation.

The republican party has been paid to keep the nation using fossil fuels especially oil for it its energy needs. They are even resisting allowing the nation to convert form gasoline to natural as the fuel for its vehicles. They are doing this for money. The members of the party are becoming millionaires and billionaires at the expense of the country, the America people, the environment and the ability of the world to become a stable entity.

If the third bush gets elected, he will finish the bankrupting of the country his brother started. They are supported by the banking and investment industry that is afraid that the federal government under Obama will declare their mortgage policy criminal and require them to refund many of the pension plans they duped into purchasing fraudulent property securities.

  3. Lois Says:

Michelle, thanks for the article. I hate it when men pretend that there is a “law” that just exists. White men do it when they say “that was the way it was back then.”

I say “No, that was the way your race made it back then.”

That asshole is attempting to dodge the real question of why women are discriminated in the first place by removing their pictures from any circulation.

The other male journalists allow him to dodge that question by accepting his lame excuse of he was obeying modesty laws.

The creep is living in America, if he expects to be treated equally by the laws of America he should expect to be asked to obey those laws. Men here would not accept such a restriction put on men to allow women to delete their pictures from legitimate news articles. All that does is prohibit women from learning what women can do if they put their minds to it.

That kind of Censorship has a purpose. And that purpose is to indoctrinate women into believing that they are not equal to men in the workplace or in the eyes of their idiotic gods.

Why are they allowing the creep to get away with it against women?

Could it be because of the dumb as a box of rocks women like Misha who claim ignorance rather than stand up and demand that men stop this double standard of bitching when their rights are abridged but looking the other way when women have their abused?

    Lois

Modesty law. What a pile of manure.

    Lois

  4. Baraki Says:

    Alycedale, well said.

That is the real connection between the men of the Middle East. They are born semites. They set themselves up as arabs and hebrews. But their semite blood makes them tiny dick wonders without a clue on how to please a woman. So they use their religions, islam and hebrew to enslave and use women as sexual toys.

The hebrews are only less oppressive to their females than the arabs. But they are both semites.

My wish is that the men remain at each other’s throats forever until they free their women from the oppression they impose upon them. If not, then let them kill each other in some nuclear holocaust.

Why should the world have pity on these animals? If Israel is serious about entering the human world, then they should outlaw any part of their religious bullshit that permits this kind of discrimination against women.

Howie I am an arab woman. But I am not anti Jew. Actually I would prefer living under hebrew rule rather than the arab burqa forced upon us by those sick minds.

  5. Anonymous Says:

Just about every major issue facing the american people can be traced to a lack of proper government regulation of that issue.

I see those issues to be:

1, The lack of regulation of those who can lobby and contribute to our politicians, i,e, how can Newt Gingrich be allowed to amass so much money without federal oversight and accountability and why is it still legal for lobbyists to bribe our politicians?

    2. The lack of regulation of the banks. – If the banks won’t loan money at a reasonable rate why can’t the federal set up their own bank(by any name) and make loans to people who can pay a decent return to get a loan to stay in their homes?

    2. Why aren’t we regulating the banks in a way that makes it a criminal offense to do the things that Wells Fargo did when they devised a scheme to steal money from their customers by manipulating when their accounts became overdrawn?

If an individual had devised a similar scam he would be charged criminally/. If the Supreme Court insists on treating corporations as if they are human beings, then the federal government should require that those corporations designate that the CEO be the proxy for jail time should the corporation become criminally liable.

If the heads of corporations are held criminally liable for their corporation’s behavior, the dangerous activities and criminal conduct will take a sudden drop. But as long as they can act with impunity, they will continually look the other way while they push life threatening drugs and products.

Wells Fargo stole as much money with a scheme no more deliberate than Madeoffs, yet no one faces criminal liability. How long do you think it will be before they come up with another scheme to loot the american people.

This is the time to push that idea. The people will support you. But someone in the party needs to fine a pair. The little people like us will soon tire of contributing to nonsense.

We know that you are not as interested in our opinions as you are in our contributions. But This time I will be contributing only opinions. But if someone there truly listens some of the them could save this party.

I have made thousands of calls on behalf of this party. I have learned things that should have been obvious to most of the party’s big wigs. For example:

Why didn’t President Obama and the heads of the Democratic Party get out and tell the American people they already had someone standing between them and their doctors, accountants working for the insurance company. Then they could have followed up with the point that it was the democrats that were committed to standing between the Insurance companies’s accountants and them.

I converted many a caller with that bit of education. I lost many who said that it it were that simple the democrats would have been saying in every message and that they NEVER heard the President put it that way?

that they were standing between the insurance company and the people. Why

tar of making the banks, corporations and health care industry more fair to the american people require they be regulated.

  6. Zen Lill Says:

Mischa, thank you (re: Twits/tweets article)

    Re: today’s post…
That’s just ridiculous and the Hasidics should be held to the white house protocol and reprint the photo as is. Since when is leaving women out altogther considered ‘modest’ anyway, that’s not modest that’s saying women don’t exist in your community. Men have strong minds (questionable at any rate) and weak biology and women get punished for it? You know, if men cannot control their ‘biological’ urges, they should wear blinders and ear covers, it’s their issue not womankinds.

Anonz, interesting info. I was just starting to wonder who would the GOP use as a candidate bc trump is a big joke, Palin is a bigger joke and that would make Jeb (who is also a joke) look like a viable candidate by comparison, the lesser joker – if you will. and I can see the Repugs selling this one already…this is not good news at all but thank you for the heads up. I’m glad you’re well enough to write in here : ) stay safe.

Caio for now, Luv, Zen Lill

  7. General Info Says:

    Fight Your Inner Chicken

    Beth Weissenberger

We all have excuses for why we have not yet achieved our goals… and why it is not worth making the changes required to pursue our goals now. “It’s too hard”… “too frightening”… or “just not the right time.”

We take the safer, easier way out whether that means keeping our current job rather than trying something different that we would rather do… keeping quiet rather than standing up for ourselves… or continuing to indulge in bad habits rather than disciplining ourselves to change behaviors, such as overeating or not exercising.

According to principles taught by the executive-coaching Handel Group, these excuses come from our “inner chicken,” that voice in our head that keeps us from taking a challenging path.

We accept our inner chicken’s excuses as valid, even when they are clearly flawed, because believing that the easy course is the proper course is less painful than admitting that we are deeply and perhaps irrationally afraid of the alternative.

    To overcome your inner chicken…

Reflect on what you would like your life to be like. What are your goals in your professional life… family life… social life… and financial life?

Thinking about your goals lures your inner chicken from its pen to offer up excuses. Write down your chicken’s excuses. Become familiar with them. This familiarity will make it easier to see through them later.

Example: When a middle manager who attended one of our seminars thought about his professional goals, his inner chicken warned him that his family life was too busy for him to devote more time to his career… and the economy was too iffy to take professional chances.

When his boss asked if he would like to lead an important presentation, the manager’s first thoughts were that he was too busy and that failing at this assignment could cost him his job at a time when new jobs were scarce.

But because he learned that it was his inner chicken talking, he identified his excuses as fear responses. He figured out how he could schedule his time so that he could make the project a priority without neglecting his family.

He also reminded himself that, in a tough job market, not taking a chance could be as risky as taking one.

Ask an expert or friend to evaluate your inner chicken’s excuses. Obtaining an outside perspective often is the best way to separate valid excuses from those rooted in fear.

If an excuse is medical in nature, ask your doctor whether it is valid… if it is professional, ask a career coach, business consultant or mentor… if it is about a relationship, speak with a marriage counselor or pastoral counselor.

If this expert agrees that your excuse is valid, that does not free you from pursuing the goal — it simply means that you should pursue it via a different route.

Example: Your goal is to lose 50 pounds, but your inner chicken warns you that jogging may damage your knees. If a doctor agrees, give up jogging — but replace it with biking or swimming.

If you lack the time or money to consult an expert, ask a friend or family member to evaluate the excuse — but choose this evaluator carefully.

Family and friends tend to let us get away with our excuses because they want to tell us what we want to hear… or because their own inner chickens make similar excuses.

Your evaluator must be both savvy enough to see through flawed excuses and plainspoken enough to tell you difficult truths.

If you find an effective evaluator, ask this person to serve this role for you on an ongoing basis. Send him/her a weekly e-mail summarizing your goals, the steps you have taken to pursue them and your excuses for not doing more. Request an honest critique.

When your inner chicken starts clucking, remind yourself of the high costs of remaining in your box. We all prefer the safety of our comfort zones, and the chicken helps us stay there. But we pay a huge price for this safety.

A life without risk is a life without excitement and adventure… without feelings of accomplishment… and without any hope of fulfilling our dreams.

Reflect upon these costs whenever you’re tempted to choose the comfortable path. Our greatest happiness usually is found on the other side of fear.

Also, consider that facing fears is good practice. Like it or not, events outside of our control force us out of our comfort zone eventually. We’ll be better able to cope with these situations if we previously have taken ourselves out of this comfort zone.

Example: Those who have remained in one job their whole career for fear of change are likely to have more trouble rebounding from a layoff than those who have been through the job-hunting process several times before.

Confront your inner chicken about being nonconfrontational. Our inner chickens often are afraid of standing up to others.

They feed us reasons why it’s better to just live with the annoying behavior of those around us. They assure us that confrontations are unpleasant… and that voicing displeasure only makes bad situations worse.

The secret to overcoming an inner chicken’s nonconfrontational nature is to learn how to stage successful confrontations. Five keys…

Consider the matter from the opposite side before speaking up. Does this person have a good reason for doing whatever is annoying you? Are you doing anything that annoys this person?

Wait until this person is alone before raising the subject. People tend to become embarrassed and defensive when confronted in a group.

Ask for “permission” to raise a difficult issue before voicing your complaint. “I have something difficult to say. Is it okay with you if I say it?”

Present your complaint as something that could be done differently, not as a matter of right and wrong. Assume that this person does not realize that he/she is causing offense.

Avoid any hint of righteousness or blame. Remember that this is all your opinion and from your point of view.

Do one thing each day that scares you. Tell someone what you really think, even if it’s not what he wants to hear.

Schedule an appointment that you have been putting off. Try a new food. Ask for a discount at a store. Spend time with a teen who has been angry and distant.

It’s best to face fears that bring you closer to your goals, but facing any fear at least teaches you that you can stand up to your inner chicken. Facing one fear each day eliminates the paralysis of trying to face all of your fears at once. After you become good at addressing small fears, you can work up to larger issues.

Helpful: Keep a list of fears and the actions you could take to confront them. That will make it harder for your inner chicken to convince you to take a day off from facing fears.

Call yourself names. When you hear excuses in your head, call yourself a chicken. Silly as it sounds, this self-teasing can balance out your inclination to listen to your chicken — and drive you toward braver choices.

  9. AH Says:

We are in the year 1875:

Molly Brennan, 2 year old dance-hall hostess at the Lady Gay Gambling Saloon, Sweetwater, Texas, has carved her niche in the annals of romance.

Early this year, she was dancing with her latest beau, Bat Masterson, a civilian scout who works for the army. (Neither Bat nor Molly, we are reliably informed, normally restricted themselves to one love.)

As the couple swooped and glided, the bar was stormed by Sergeant Melvin King of the 4th Cavalry. A former lover of Molly’s, he pulled his gun and fired at the couple as they separated.

Molly immediately threw herself in front of her lover and received the bullet herself. As she fell, King fired again, shattering Masterson’s pelvis.

But the intrepid scout fired his own pistol, killing the sergeant and avenging his dying mistress.

Molly Brennan’s memory is the toast of Texas, and gossips say Masterson was so moved by her sacrifice that he refused all offers of dalliance for a whole month after her death!

(We can believe this: Bat’s Shandeian injury cane close to terminating his amatory career entirely!)

  14. From the Desk of Anonz Says:

Now that the republicans again have control of the house. They are shopping military contracts to those who did not get a chance to make a ton on the deal to transfer the troops to Guam.

The crooks are willing to hold up the transfer to force a renegotiation of the deal so that those willing to grease new hands can get a piece of the pie.

Never mind that this delay will cost the government billions more in overtime and perhaps endanger the American troops stationed in Japan because they could be exposed to more radiation.

But do the republican congressmen care? Watch your news in the coming days and weeks all you will hear is how the government can afford the previous deal so let’s do it over.

By over they mean let the guys who are greasing their palms for a piece of the money pie in on the deal.

    Oh, Zen Lill

Anonz is still indisposed. We report as we receive. Or as per allotment.

Talk about greed. The energy boys were heard on tape laughing about how much money they made by keeping electric and alternate fuel vehicles from Guam and Hawaii.

It was particular amusing because the corporate heads stand to make $millions in bonuses this year on the 10 to 15 cents a gallon they are about to levy in those two locations.

They are laughing because the own a vertical monopoly that will soon be a horizontal one. Once the republican congress approves the horizontal buy out they will raise the price of regular to $5 in most states and $6.10 in the rest.

Nice move America returning the Republicans back to control. Enjoy the ride. It will be expense!

  16. Mariane Says:

Say what you will Anonymous. My belief is that we need to take our country back. Whatever it takes. We will be able to right the ship once we get that boy out of the White House.

It is literally embarrassing to have him there. I am 73 years old. This just would not have happened in my day. They knew their place and they knew what would happen if they left it.

I don’t care if gas goes to $10.00 a gallon. We have to get that boy out of the White House, even if it takes another Civil War!

I know that this blog hates white people. Michelle your mother needs to wash your mouth out with a good stiff bar of Ivory soap.

WHITE and proud of it. And I vote.

    Marianne

  17. Doug The Main Dude Says:

Marianne, I appreciate your point of view, and as an American respect your right to have it, but after today I suggest you fuck off and give a shit about people other than yourself. You don’t give a shit if gas goes to $10 because your years are substantially numbered. That is the way of the GOP.\, to care only for yourself. I’m sad you still vote. I am sorry that you are only proud of white people, as it gives us all a bad rap. I am soooooooo tired of ignorance like that.

  18. Zen Lill Says:

From the desk of Anonz (if you’re even reading between posts) – I had a feeling that’s how it was…so thank you for confirming. If you ever have contact during your blog post exchanges please inform Mr A that Mz ZL sends her best. – ZL

Marianne, I was going to have a go at you but I see the main dude took care of it already. I shook my head reading what you wrote bc that’s a pathetic attitude to have and frankly why your so proud of being white is beyond me. I’m white, that’s just a fact but I am not more proud of my skin color in comparison to someone else’s, bc it’s got nothing to do with WHO I am or WHO they are. The very idea of white is right, and I’m ‘proud’ to be white, ‘taking our country back’ and President Obama being referred to as ‘BOY’ – those ideas and statements are all just ludicrous. And – ‘They knew their place’? Hmmm, you could say the same for women but I bet your a female sexist, too. Shame on you.

    - Zen Lill

  19. Adira Says:

Michelle it is 8AM here in Jerusalem. I am a soldier on watch duty here. All the talk is about our Hasidic religious sect here. It is a small sect so many men here use that as an excuse to give them a pass.

They say the sect treat their women good. They just do not put them in the papers. The women here look at each other put their fingers down their throats as if to gag.

It is so amazing how far over men will been to give themselves a pass. If we deprived men of the right to be pictured along side their accomplishments or deprived other men of being able to celebrate the accomplishment of the male sex we would have such an uproar.

But here in Israel all you hear is that America is making a big deal about a small religious sect protecting its women from the trials of the secular world.

What a crock of shit that is. Why does the size if the group that is mistreating women matter. It is the mistreatment that matters. The women of that group are NOT being protected, they are being denied the knowledge that women can compete in the secular world agains men and do damn well!

Does this remind you of the men who don’t want women to see porno movies or other men naked because they don’t want them to learn how small they are.

It should be criminal for men to use religion be to be able to psychologically abuse women in that manner.

    Adira

  20. Adira Says:

Unfortunately the women in these repressive groups think that is the way things should be because that is what they’ve been told their whole lives.

Frequently when these women discover what asses the men in their lives have been they run like hell away from that repressive life, and the men call them names.

It’s tough to look in the mirror and realize what an asses you and your brethren are.

  22. Degana Says:

I don’t give a damn how small or how fucking religious those disgusting men are they are abusing those women so they can have a ready made supply of docile submissive females to fuck.

And any man that can accept that behavior and look the other way is secretly in favor of controlling women. They are sick bastards. IHowever, I think the woman who wrote in and said that she was in favor of arabs and jews just killing themselves off went a bit too far. Most men in Jerusalem are not like that.

I have lived here for 16 years and it is a place that respects women for the most part. Israel is not unlike America and Europe in its beliefs and behavior towards women. They are light years away from the arabs. The arabs might as well be sheep herders when it comes to having a relation with their women.

If we can don weapons and patrol the streets with the men, we damn well should have the right to see other women do as well in their careers. What right do men have to use religion to hide from women the accomplishments, good or bad of women? It is just sick! Especially how easily some men can justify the behavior.

Look into the mirror you bastards and ask yourself if you would be that liberal if someone deliberately denied you information because their religion said so. Isn’t that what the catholics did to Galileo? That religious act set science back about 100 years.

And no matter how you men attempt to play it down. The lack of self esteem that goes with denying the women of the Hasidic sect the knowledge that women are capable and legally allowed to compete with men is cruel and controlling.

    Degana

  23. Marianne Says:

Zen Lill, what a God-awful name for a white woman, you could use a turn with that Ivory soap. I don’t agree with all these freedoms that women have today. They should be happy taking care of their families.

If I didn’t hate jews so much for killing our Lord, I could almost say they had the right idea to protect women from themselves and the evils of this world.

Women are the gentle creatures, put hear by our Lord to serve men in homage. God took a rib from Adam lest you forget and made woman.

She was a gift by God to man who was made in His image.

    Zen Lill:

Thank you for sending me back to reread AH’s posts. I usually skip him. I didn’t know that his name was Alexander Hamilton. That his real name?

Why does he claim to be back in 1875? I thought it was a typo and he meant 1975. Lovely writing. This blog is full of expletives sometimes, but it does have its moments. This was one of them.

Hearing women raise their voices for something that means something to us is so uplifting. I wonder if men know how this makes us feel. I have never been able to say to a man how I really felt. Oft times I have sat hurt to the quick. Unable to find the words to comfort me much less ones to defend myself.

I thank God that I have lived long enough to witness this event. Women saying they are hurt, saying why they are hurt and making other women feel proud to be women.

    Thank You Jesus!

    Nora

  27. Anonymous Says:

Seeing Hilary Clinton, sitting there with all those men, the most powerful men in the world and there she was. And to think with a swipe of a pen some man can come along and deny another woman the privilege of having all that pride.

And another man can come along and say “its not all that bad, you are making too much of it.” What if Germany said lets’s just erase all those men from the pictures in those concentration camps because our religion forbids any display of violence.

Those same Haisidics would be marching in the streets decrying the shameful tactic of hiding behind religion to do such a despicable thing. Yet many jewish and other men are doing exactly that. making light of the shameful thing the Haisidic sect is doing.

I say is doing because when this topic is over they will continue abusing their women in that manner. Controlling their lives by denying them the right to know that women are equal to men in every way.

They are in concentration camps. Every bit as controlling mentally as those camps the Germans put our parents into. I lived through it. These men should be lined up and shot.

Was he a saint? No. Not any more than Gandhi, Lincoln or Biko. For most people that would be enough. But not for the Catholic church apparently, who just can’t let a dead man rest in peace. Not when there’s money or attention involved.

No reason to put him on trial. He admitted it on tape and gloated. Repeatedly. So, I accept that as a guilty plea.

Move on to sentencing. He’s directly and indirectly responsible for the deaths of several thousand people by his own admission.

Since multiple homicides are aggravating circumstances, one must assume that with several thousand of them, he’s looking at a death penalty sentence, which allowed for any number of federal murder charges, in particular this one: 49 U.S.C. 1472-1473 – Death resulting from aircraft hijacking.

    I’m satisfied.

Now you screeching bitches have heard it from a real woman who knows her place(on the floor sucking dick) is to please her man.

You tell’em granny. A fucking rib is a fucking rib. Nothing more, nothing less. We men (except the nigs, slopes, wets, and muds) were made in God’s image(I almost forgot the toasts, er, wanna-be white jews).

Granny our mistake was letting you bitches out from under the “keep’em barefoot and pregnant” rule.

Me I’m all for going back to the good ole days when everybody knew their place or we white men reminded them of it with a swift kick in the ass or a baton upside their heads. And occasionally or for pure enjoyment we invited them to a good old fashion neck-tie party.

How’s that for a REAL MAN speaking up, Helena?

    George

  34. Doug The Main Dude Says:

George, it is amazing at how a comment like that shows how much of a true idiot you are. And, Marianne for that matter. First of all, the bible was written by men in their attempts to control a populace of people and to keep them in line and ignorant to the ruling party of the day…that being the Catholic Church. So, to go around quoting the bible as rote in today’s day shows just how powerful that lying dog(ma) really is. Rib my ass. Secondly, to say that the “White Man” was made in your god’s image is a joke in that, if you would have understood the good book you obviously have only briefed, you would know that Jesus and the stories therein are set in the land of the Arab skin. There is no white involved. It is this ignorance that is a travesty to the knowledge of the future. It is this kind of blind faith on a bed of lies that is a travesty to the knowledge of the future. It is this kind of arrogance that is a travesty to the knowledge of the future. And, since Marianne, it sounds as though you’ve had kids, I am sorry for that, or I hope that they have seen the light of truth and looked beyond the archaic dogmatic visions of a senile mother. George, I’m guessing you don’t have kids, it so, I simply sorry for them in total. You wouldn’t last a minute spouting your “ideals” in the Bay Area…and if you think so, I’ll pull the appropriate soap box permit for you and you can have your tirade and a crowd when ever you’d like to give a whirl. It might work in your backward fucked area, but I find solace in knowing that people overall are smarter than you have allowed yourself to be, and you will be extinct one day.

Michelle, I called my sister to tell her to check out the blog last night before I went to bed. She called me this morning to say, “did you read that George?”

I hadn’t before I went to bed. I can’t believe that some men still think like that in this enlightened age. He is probably some sick sexually inept man sitting in a wheelchair venting.

Get it all out George here so you your caretaker’s day will be better.
