Good morning!

So…for the last 3 weeks or so, Doug and I have been heading to a different internet cafe on Sunday so that I can blog. Does that mean we have made this a habit now? Hmm..I suppose so. And I like it…the change of atmosphere…a new place every Sunday…new music to either like or not…

…new people to check out – some guy just walked in with his pj pants on: dark sky blue with a print of stars and stripes electric guitars. Not exactly my version of “indoor outdoor wear-me-anywhere pajamas”. (that’s an inside comment reserved for those who are familiar with my sleepwear designs:) Anyway, on  a scale of 1-10,  I currently rank this place a 5. We’ll see how I feel after I’ve been here for awhile.

Lisa: I felt the same way…couldn’t get through the entire tape. I just wanted to reach through the video and tell the so-called 911 people to send the fucking ambulance NOW. Just thinking about the angst that woman went through, is just so disconcerting.

Maria: I know this happens more than we hear. The transparency of the internet affords us this knowledge…so that we can spread it, blog it, and Hopefully put a stop to it.

Frank: Thanks for informing us of the new bill. This practice is just sickening and must stop. Here’s a little write just in case you or my readers are interested.

Tao: Roi, Viv – how are you both? I really enjoyed the story and I am so curious who this knockout redhead is. But no doubt, her name will not be revealed. What a smart cookie – Pun intended. And…with 341 years left on this planet, I’m sure her chronicles will be interesting. Hey…Red: If you’re reading….and you ever get tired of this planet, let me know. I could use a girl like you on my ship.

Mindy: There is lots wrong, and somebody who is somebody should be reporting this, if they haven’t.

Helen: Thanks for not putting the blame on me. :) I HOPE you fair better too.

Peter: That is such a great question and something that baffles me all of the time. My gut feeling is that some OTWs think that if they side with the repubs they will be considered “one of them”, and they (the OTW’s) will get their (the repubs) support. But the truth is, the repubs will use them until they need them no more, and then the OTWs will be tossed aside, into the garbage like a wet rag.

George: And believe me, some women are just counting the days until they do. Can you say “Freedom” ?

Bob: Are you losing it? Cute as it is, you already posted that one. Give us something new.

David: Good for you. I think we just gave a new meaning to the phrase “dumbing down”. Thanks for caring.

Zen Lill: Enjoy yourself!

Wendy: :). Just for you…

I think that if we take more time to listen, or in this case, take the time to read carefully, and not just “lazy reading”, as Zen Lill pointed out a day or so ago, we could certainly get a clearer understanding, have better communication, and perhaps actually help somebody.

Well…I thought I was going to say more but on that note, I think I’ll end my write for today. Oh…by the way, the cafe got upped to a 7 – the music got much better…and you know how music can change the entire mood.

I HOPE your mood is good today. Blog me your thoughts, ideas, rants, joys, whatever.

PEACE OUT BABY…

LOVE….this BABE

Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my “loyal”(?) readers. With all this back and forth about who owns what, that appears on my blog, let me reiterate that all material posted on my blog becomes the sole property of my blog. If you want to reserve any proprietary rights don’t post it to my blog. I will prominently display this caveat on my blog from now on to remind those who may have forgotten this notice.

Gratefully your blog host,

Sorry, I’m getting old. How about this one?

Morris, an 82 year old ma, went to the doctor to get a physical. A few days later, the doctor spok to Morris and said “You’re really doing great, aren’t you?”

Morris replied, “Just doing what you said, Doc: “Get a hot mamma and and be cheerful.”

The doctor said, “I didn’t say that. “I said, “You’ve got a heart murmur, be careful.”

New Ways to Have a Happier Marriage

    Arthur Aron, PhD

Do new things together as a couple to keep a marriage happy. Just going out on a date is not enough if you only go to places with which you are already familiar and only do things you have done before.

Trying a new restaurant — or going for a whole new experience, such as taking an art class together or visiting an amusement park — can bring new sparks to a relationship.

The brain’s reward system — the same system that responds when you first fall in love — appears to respond positively to new, exciting experiences.

Bottom Line/Personal interviewed Arthur Aron, PhD, professor of social psychology, State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Michelle, I wonder if that redhead is the ex Mrs. Cruise?

Comment by Senator McCain – Republican Sen. John McCain says the fighting in Libya might be over by now if the U.S. had used greater force against Moammar Gadhafi.

McCain is an idiot and as much as Homey the Clown is an embarassement to America, he would have been worse.

This dumb sh/it doesn’t even know who he’s helping against Ghadhafi or if they are worse than him. The only good thing about this war is prolonging it so these muslim terrorist scum have an ample opportunity to kill as many of each other as possible without risking any more on our behalf than necessary.

  7. George, WN Says:

Michelle, are you forgetting that women need men. Who would fight their wars for them, if we were to suddenly all die off?

    George, WN

  8. Health Info Says:

CHANGE IN BREAST DENSITY CAN PREDICT CANCER

Nowadays women are far less eager to undergo hormone therapy for severe menopause symptoms than they used to be… and with good reason.

We now know that it brings a variety of consequences, including an increased risk for breast cancer. New research has pinned down the reason for that increased risk and also provides a way for women to monitor whether they’re nearing the danger zone.

It all has to do with breast density. Whereas it’s normal for menopause to bring about a decline in breast density, the opposite occurs when a woman is taking synthetic hormones such as Premarin and progestin, which can propel things in the other direction — density increases, which it appears is what raises a woman’s risk for breast cancer.

    WHY DENSER BREASTS ARE DANGEROUS

The link between breast density and breast cancer has already been documented.

But I was told by the study’s lead author, Celia Byrne, PhD, an assistant professor in the department of oncology at the Lombardi Cancer Center of Georgetown University, that this study has now found an association between hormone therapy and breast density.

Dr. Byrne and her colleagues compared breast density in postmenopausal women taking estrogen and progestin therapy with those not taking the hormones. The study, which was presented at the April 2010 meeting of the American Association of Cancer Research, evaluated the women’s baseline and one-year follow-up mammograms.

Results: Among the women with the greatest increase in breast density in the group taking hormones, breast cancer risk more than tripled… while in women with the smallest increase in breast density, risk rose by 20%.

    DENSITY SHOULD BE MONITORED

According to Dr. Byrne, the most important point we can use right now is that women taking hormone therapy should be sure that their breast density is closely monitored.

While this therapy is most often given to women with severe menopausal symptoms, Dr. Byrne said in most cases women need it for only a short period of time.

Noting that risk increases even in such a short period as two years, Dr. Byrne suggests having a discussion with your doctor as to what might be appropriate for you and your health.

Within three to four months after stopping hormone therapy, breast density typically decreases — bringing down the risk for breast cancer as well.

Celia Byrne, PhD, assistant professor in department of oncology, associate director of the Clinical and Molecular Epidemiology Shared Resource at the Lombardi Cancer Center, Georgetown University, Washington, DC.

  9. Mindy Says:

Michelle, if I get in I will comment. For now all I get is “ERROR IN DATA BASE CONNECTION.”

  10. Doug The Main Dude Says:

    George,
That is the most idiotic point to use as a basis for argument that I have ever heard. If women ran more of this world, instead of rich, greedy, predominantly white, men, with penis envy, there would be more politics involved and negotiations to get things accomplished without war, rather than your assumption that war is a necessity to make the world run on a daily basis. Science has proven that the brain functions of a woman, and how their compassion and emotional aspects of cognitive thinking, help assist them into making decisions that alleviate the need for violence much more readily than the male specie. The only thing war is a necessity of doing is lining the pockets of politicians, and corporations that line the pockets of politicians. In other words, making the oligarchy that we call a government, run smoothly for the rich.

If you are not familiar with the word oligarchy, you might look it up, but, I’m guessing you don’t own a dictionary and may not know the internet address to find one online, so to be more expedient, simply, it is the small elite group of people who run the world, of which you are not a part of, nor will you ever be. So, any basis of argument you posses to imply indifferent to this, is simply your own ignorance you are trying to implore onto others based on your ignorance that the oligarchical factions continue to make sure you and yours believe are to be true.

Even 99 percent of the politicians in office are not part of the richest elite that run the world. They are simply greedy pawns standing in line waiting for their allowance…
