Prep For The Safety Of Your Pets Too

Good morning!

First of all, let me say that I am sending my best to all those affected and may be affected by Hurricane Irene. May all of you who in the path of the storm be safe….as well as your families, friends, and let’s not forget about your precious pets.

This post may be too late for some, but for those of you who are still reading and who have not evacuated your area yet, and for those who are planning on waiting out the storm at home, I HOPE that you are not only thoroughly prepared, but that you have a plan for your pets as well.

Our pets are always there for us, so make sure that you are there for your pets. This can be a very scary time for our four-legged friends, so please be sure that they are well taken care of and well loved too.

Here’s a few tips that will help you prepare for your beloved pet:

Hurricane Irene Pet Emergency Plan

As Hurricane Irene approaches the East Coast, it’s critical not to forget the livelihood of your pets in making preparation plans for the storm. Some 600,000 pets were killed or left homeless  from Hurricane Katrina six years ago, reports HurricaneKatrinaRelief.com. Below are some top pet preparation tips to ensure their safety.

Before The Storm
1) Prepare To Take Your Pets — Don’t leave your pets at home. As the ASPCA puts it, “If you’re not safe, neither is your pet.” If you’re planning to head to a Red Cross Shelter or hotel, remember that not all will take animals. Here’s a list of directories for finding a pet-friendly hotel by the ASPCA. Other options include a veterinary clinic, animal control shelter or pet shelter.

2) Photograph and Identification — Keep a current photograph of your pet in case something happens to them during the storm. Identification in the form of a collar is also essential and will make it easier to locate them if they get lost.

3) Leash And Pet Carrier In Tow — Think about how exactly you will keep track of your pet during the storm, and how you will transport them should you decide to evacuate. The Humane Society says a leash and/or pet carrier will ensure your animal doesn’t go astray.

4) Bring Your Pet Inside — The last thing you want is to have to hunt for your pet on the brink of a hurricane. The National Hurricane Center suggests that owners calm and comfort pets inside well in advance of the actual storm.

5) What To Pack – The ASPCA recommends you pack five to seven days of pet food and water along with litter trays, litter and trash bags. Pet first aid kits might be a good idea, and remember their medications. If you are taking them to an animal shelter, you’ll need to bring all of the above and ensure your pet has its rabbie tags, up to date immunization records and labelled supplies.

After The Disaster

6) Keep A Handle On Your Pet – The Humane Society recommends keeping your pet on a leash after the storm and not letting them roam free, especially if there has been wreckage from the aftermath. FEMA advises you should watch out for snakes, roaming dangerous animals and power lines that may have fallen.

7) Get Back Into A Routine — If your pet is used to a certain walk, get them back into their usual routines, advises the Humane Society. The usual smells might be gone and might cause your animal to become disoriented and not recognize their home.

The way I see it Michelle is what comes around goes around. I won’t be happy until I see some white boys on roofs begging for government intervention.

All i remember when my family was suffering in NO was them blaming the OTW victims for their plight. Wanna bet this time they will be so understanding when the white victims are begging for help from the state and FEDERAL governments.

They can thank whatever god they are praying to that OBAMA is the President when their emergency hit. If it was bush he would be playing politics with his appointments on FEMA and they would be depending on some incompetent political asswipes to help them.

Just wait for the bigots and racists to try to turn this into a HATE-OBAMA political movement. Me I want to see the bastards on the roofs, floating down their expensive avenues and talking out of both sides of their mouths as they take the FEDERAL handouts while declaring that we have TOO much FEDERAL government.

    Celebrating Women’s Equality and Entrepreneurship
    August 26, 2011

    Celebrating Women’s Equality and Entrepreneurship
On Thursday, I was pleased to join women small business owners at Casa Bonampak in the Mission District for a roundtable to discuss job creation, job security, and health security for America’s women and their families.

The event was hosted by Women’s Initiative and Working Solutions, two nonprofit organizations working to train and assist other entrepreneurs; enabling women to become self-sufficient, independent, and empowered.

Together, women business owners make San Francisco’s economy stronger, more diverse, and more dynamic.

Women play a vital role in stimulating and driving the expansion, health, and success of our economy. As of last year, women-owned firms had an economic impact of $3 trillion annually, translating into more than 23 million jobs.

By 2018, women small businesses are expected to create more than 5 million new jobs.

My Democratic colleagues and I are committed to the number one priority of the American people – job creation.

Our Make It In America initiative lays out a plan to keep American jobs on our shores and build a thriving industrial, technological, and manufacturing base for our economy.

This effort invests in innovation, clean energy, and new technologies and demands China and other nations play by the rules.

Congress must focus its efforts on revitalizing our nation’s economy and putting the American people back to work.

Congresswoman Pelosi joins women small business leaders at Casa Bonampak in San Francisco.

One hundred years ago, the state of California joined a growing national movement toward progress and civil rights: extending the core blessing of democracy – the right to vote – to our state’s women.

Nine years later, the entire country followed suit, with the ratification of the 19th Amendment – a watershed moment in our ongoing pursuit of liberty, justice, and equality, our heritage and our hope.

Today, as we mark the 91st anniversary of Women’s Equality Day, we celebrate, commemorate, and honor the work and success of those brave leaders who moved the dream of women’s equality one giant step closer to reality: America’s suffragettes.

The struggle of these courageous leaders continues in our time: in the fight for equal pay for equal work; in the battle for true equality in business and government, in law, medicine, and the arts.

We must continue to ensure that women have access to job training, education and the chance to make better lives for themselves and their families.

With women as our families’ primary caregivers, we must preserve Americans’ health security, and strengthen Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.

  5. q9c Says:

We have a little special surprise for the city of Newport, RI, the land of slavery management and orchestration.

Many extravagant homes there were built on the misery and deaths of millions of slaves brought to the state to be exported to the South.

    HELLO from us.

We will be bringing the wind a bit of water to say hello to you and your blood drenched homes. Perhaps we can wash a little of the blood off.

It wasn’t our original intention, but since we were going to be here anyway, why not sit and visit a while?

    q9c

  6. Le Bon Says:

I can not tell you how delighted I am to hear the smug northerners will be getting some of what they sniggered about when we in New Orleans were in the eye of the storm.

It wasn’t just the OTWs they were against, they were against us too. That is unforgivable!

Aliens or God, I don’t care as long as the bastards suffer and suffer good!!!!!!!

    Le Bon

  7. Alfred Says:

At least the rich northerners can afford to get out. And the ones who can’t have the benefit of having Obama as president so they will be provided help.

My wish would be that Bush was still the president and the hypocrites that refused to acknowledge our need for assistance would get theirs.

    Alfred

  8. Mary Says:

How come we can’t just come together in our hour of need? Why so much hatred?

  9. 11ok65ru Says:

If China thinks they can continue to lie to us about involvement in Yesterday’s discovery, let them look to the USA in New York tomorrow.

We will visit China with a use of imagination that will show that we mean business if the return isn’t immediate.

    110k65ru

  10. Wronged Aliens Says:

The restraints being placed on us by the TAO is inconsistent with their agreement that we were entitled to redress for the USA’s attempt to track and to eavesdrop on us.

As it has been agreed by all that The TWO are not in the area we have targeted, we see no reason to restrict the size or intensity of the volume of wind and water we wish to bring to the area.

  11. Lyle Says:

Mary, it is interesting that when the shit that you people have no sympathy for happens to you, you want everyone to “come together.”

As was said earlier, what goes around comes around. My advice is for you to take what you got coming and count your blessings that you and the rest of your ilk can afford to leave the area of danger.

Many of us in NO could not afford to leave and we had that bigot bush to deal with. You lucky bastards have the man you have been disparaging at every opportunity covering your racists asses.

Count your fucking blessings and shut the fuck up. I hope the storm washes all your homes out to sea.

    Lyle

  12. Daily Events Says:

Yet again the President intends to take a stab at jobs creation. Two things being touted by the White House are scholarships for engineers, which will not create jobs and will increase the costs of education through the subsidy. The other is paying people to retrofit buildings to make buildings greener. Even the New York Times is finally conceding that green jobs don’t actually create many jobs.

All of this ignores that, should the President’s plan work, it’ll increase federal spending and not actually create sustainable jobs. It is also a distraction from bigger news.

The Wall Street Journal and other media outlets are reporting the Department of Justice has raided Gibson Guitars. Why? Because Gibson uses wood from India in its guitars. That wood is from a sustainable crop of wood that is industry certified. But Gibson takes the wood and finishes it here in the United States, providing Americans with jobs.

The Department of Justice believes it is illegal for Gibson to finish its guitars in the United States. According to the Department of Justice’s interpretation of an Indian law that India itself does not interpret in the same way, wood taken from India must be finished in India. Never mind that the Indian government does not see it that way and has not requested American intervention against Gibson.

While the President is trying to create jobs, we should not fall for the distraction and should instead pay very real attention to how Barack Obama’s appointees are killing American jobs.

    — Erick Erickson

  13. Donna Says:

The Republicans are so willing to destroy the country to get control of the white house that it should be scary. It does not matter what they have to do, they are willing to do it.

And it seems that some whites, who are not racists but sympathetic with the concept that whites alone should be the main if not sole leaders of this country, are willing to give them support.

Then there are the white media sources that can not get enough of themselves. They are willing to air any complaint or event wrapped in a white angst.

The end result is the free airing of anything these bigots want to implement or force upon the public. It gives their inane antics legitimacy that their numbers don’t warrant.

But they are white so they get the news coverage.

    Donna

  14. Keith Says:

If there is a God in Heaven, I will awake in the morning with the good news that a lot of those super rich homes are free floating out in the Atlantic.

  15. Human Events Says:

Conservative author Dinesh D’Souza has provoked a firestorm of controversy with his latest bestseller, The Roots of Obama’s Rage.

D’Souza, who is Indian-born, has been denounced as a racist, liar and much else. Even former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs joined in the name-calling.

Meanwhile, GLENN BECK has touted the book on his radio and television shows, insisting that “the White House doesn’t want you to read The Roots of Obama’s Rage, but you must read this book… Pick it up today!”

So, what’s all the fuss about? We’ve prepared a short audio presentation to tell you more about it.

Just click here to listen to some of the shocking revelations in Dinesh D’Souza’s brilliant bestseller The Roots of Obama’s Rage — and to get your FREE copy today.

  16. Amanda Says:

I like listening to all these republikkkan governors talking about the help their states need. These are the same hypocrites that claim we have too much government in the peoples lives.

I don’t see them asking private enterprise for help. They are expecting the federal government to cover their asses.

Thank are secretly thanking God that Obama is the president. A republikkkan would have one of his cronies making money holding down the title of head of FEMA without a shred of experience.

    Amanda

  17. George Says:

Larry, of course it was Steve Jobs. He got greedy and took Apple into the same attitude the other big corporations have.

Look where Apple has gone when it comes to customer relations. They are hardly any different today than any of those other corps.

They have become arrogant and greedy with the making and selling of their products. With Apple as with the other corporations IT IS ABOUT THE MONEY.

If SJ had been given a opportunity to take the power Gates had in the computer world from him, he must have been given some mandates to adhere to.

Wanna bet one of them wasn’t to start gouging the customer once you took that lead?

    George

  18. Social Butterfly Says:

Sometimes I wish Michelle did censor her commentators.

D’Souza was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and came to the US in 1978 through a Rotary International program. He considers himself an evangelican Christian.

D’Souza is a noted conservative, and defines conservatism in the American sense as “conserving the principles of the American Revolution.” In Letters to a Young Conservative, written as an introduction to conservative ideas for youth, D’Souza argues against what he calls the modern liberal belief that “human nature is intrinsically good,” and thus that “the great conflicts in the world…arise out of terrible misunderstandings that can be corrected through ongoing conversation and through the mediation of the United Nations.”

In early 2007, D’Souza published The Enemy at Home: The Cultural Left and its Responsibility for 9/11, in which he argues that the American cultural left was in large part responsible for the Muslim anger that led to the September 11 attacks.

He argues that Muslims do not hate America because of its freedom and democracy, but because they perceive America to be imposing its moral depravity (support for sexual licentiousness) on the world. The conclusion of the book, as stated by D’Souza in the introduction, is that “[t]he Bush administration and the conservatives must stop promoting American popular culture because it is producing a blowback of Muslim rage. With a few exceptions, the right should not bother to defend American movies, music, and television. From the point of view of traditional values, they are indefensible. Moreover, why should the right stand up for the left’s debased values? Why should our people defend their America? Rather, American conservatives should join the Muslims and others in condemning the global moral degeneracy that is produced by liberal values.”

The book was criticized in major American newspapers and magazines and called, among other things, “the worst nonfiction book about terrorism published by a major house since 9/11″and “a national disgrace.”

He is against feminism, homosexuality, affirmation action, social welfare and he does not like Obama

The book about President Obama, [the book Human Events just mentioned in their post] D’Souza writes on the cover:

“We are today living out the script for America and the world that was dreamt up not by Obama but by Obama’s father. How do I know this? Because Obama says so himself. Reflect for a moment on the title of his book: it’s not Dreams of My Father but rather Dreams from My Father. In other words, Obama is not writing a book about his father’s dreams; he is writing a book about the dreams that he got from his father.

Think about what this means. The most powerful country in the world is being governed according to the dreams of a Luo tribesman of the 1950s — a polygamist who abandoned his wives, drank himself into stupors, and bounced around on two iron legs (after his real legs had to be amputated because of a car crash caused by his drunk driving). This philandering, inebriated African socialist, who raged against the world for denying him the realization of his anti-colonial ambitions, is now setting the nation’s agenda through the reincarnation of his dreams in his son. The son is the one who is making it happen, but the son is, as he candidly admits, only living out his father’s dream. The invisible father provides the inspiration, and the son dutifully gets the job done. America today is being governed by a ghost.”

“What really motivates Barack Obama is an inherited rage — an often masked, but profound rage that comes from his African father; an anticolonialist rage against Western dominance, and most especially against the wealth and power of the very nation Barack Obama now leads. It is this rage that explains the previously inexplicable, and that gives us a startling look at what might lie ahead.”

    He is dangerous garbage.

  19. Sean Says:

On the Human Events offer to give you the book “The Roots of Obama’s Rage” for free, It’s free if you are willing to pay $39.95 or “best deal” $69.95 for a year or 2 year subscription.

However, even if it were actually free, who would bother to read the bullshit if they weren’t already bigots looking to justify their racism when it comes to Obama?

If you want to hear the some of the ludicrous claims the house Indian the white racists got to make the claims they were afraid to make less we see too clearly through their racist allegations, use this link – /members.humaneventsonline.com/visitor.php?offer=2516

Be prepared not to have any control over the content. They don’t want you to be able to stop, pause or otherwise have any control over the propaganda.

They start and end it with a deliberate manipulated presentation with professional indoctrination techniques.

  20. Social Butterfly Says:

An obituary today of someone interesting.

Author Stetson Kennedy, whose writings exposed the KKK’s workings in the 1940s, dies at 94

MIAMI — Author and folklorist Stetson Kennedy, who infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan six decades ago and exposed its secrets to authorities and the public but was also criticized for possibly exaggerating his exploits, died Saturday. He was 94.

In the 1940s, Kennedy used the “Superman” radio show to expose and ridicule the Klan’s rituals. In the 1950s he wrote “I Rode with the Ku Klux Klan,” which was later renamed “The Klan Unmasked,” and “The Jim Crow Guide.”

“Exposing their folklore — all their secret handshakes, passwords and how silly they were, dressing up in white sheets” was one of the strongest blows delivered to the Klan, said Peggy Bulger, director of the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress, in a 2007 interview with The Associated Press. She was a friend of Kennedy for about 30 years and did her doctoral thesis on his work as a folklorist.

“If they weren’t so violent, they would be silly.”

Kennedy began his crusades against what he called “homegrown racial terrorists” during World War II after he was deemed unworthy for military service because of a back injury. He served as director of fact-finding for the southeastern office of the Anti-Defamation League and served as director of the Anti-Nazi League of New York.

“All my friends were in service and they were being shot at in a big way. They were fighting racism whether they knew it or not,” Kennedy said. “At least I could see if I could do something about the racist terrorists in our backyard.”
Using evidence salvaged from the Grand Dragon’s waste basket, he enabled the Internal Revenue Service to press for collection of an outstanding $685,000 tax lien from the Klan in 1944 and he helped draft the brief used by the state of Georgia to revoke the Klan’s national corporate charter in 1947.

Kennedy infiltrated the Klan by using the name of a deceased uncle who had been a member as a way to gain trust and membership.

But the Klan did not know that Kennedy was giving its secrets to the outside world, including the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Anti-Defamation League and Drew Pearson, a columnist for The Washington Post.

When he learned of plans for the Klan to take action, he would make sure it was broadcast, thwarting them.
“They were afraid to do anything. They knew that somebody was on the inside. They had first-class detectives looking, and I was trying hard not to be caught,” Kennedy said.

Kennedy said he always feared exposure and remained scared throughout his life. “Nonstop, to date,” mentioning threats, the shooting of his dog and frequent attempts to burn his home.

In the late 1940s, Kennedy took his fight against the Klan to a national stage when, while working as a consultant to the Superman radio show, he provided information to producers on information about the Klan from their rituals to secret code words. The episodes were titled “Clan of the Fiery Cross.”

He testified before a federal grand jury in Miami about the Klan chain of command in the 1951 bombing death of Florida NAACP leader Harry Moore and bombings aimed at black, Catholic and Jewish centers in Miami.

Cool Herbal Drinks That Ease Summertime Woes
    Mark A. Stengler, NMD
    Stengler Center for Integrative Medicine

Quenching a summer thirst calls for a tall, cold beverage—and what better way to satisfy that thirst than with cool drinks made from herbs and spices that are chock-full of powerful phytochemicals, plant-based chemicals that have a variety of health benefits?

To brew summer drinks with herbs and spices, our editors spoke with James Duke, PhD, a botanist and former USDA researcher, who is the author of numerous books, including The Green Pharmacy Guide to Healing Foods (www.greenpharmacy.com).

He advises using organic herbs and spices whenever possible. And of course, since the compounds in some botanicals may interact with your medications, get your doctor’s OK before making these recipes. Then drink up!

    WEEKEND WARRIORS JOINT TEA

This refreshing tea is perfect after a long day of activity when your muscles feel stiff from exertion.

Why: Three of the herbs in this drink—turmeric, ginger and cardamom—produce an anti-inflammatory effect. The black pepper and cayenne help synergize the benefit of the anti-inflammatory herbs.

    6 cardamom pods, cracked
1 Tablespoon chopped fresh turmeric or ¼ teaspoon ground dried turmeric
    (note that fresh tastes best)
    1 Tablespoon chopped fresh ginger
    ¼ teaspoon whole black peppercorns
    Ground cayenne pepper
    1 cup pineapple juice, chilled
2 mint sprigs for garnish, optional

In a pot, combine the first four ingredients with 2 cups of water. Cover and bring to a boil, then set aside and steep for 20 minutes. Using a strainer, pour the tea into a jar and chill.

Before serving, add cayenne pepper to taste. Divide the tea between two ice-filled glasses. Add half the pineapple juice to each. If desired, garnish with mint sprigs. Serves 2.

    DIGESTADE

If you ate too much at a barbecue or a picnic and your stomach needs calming, this cool drink can help.

Why: The herbs in this drink—caraway, fennel and peppermint—have a carminative effect, which means that they help to relieve gas and settle an upset stomach.

1 Tablespoon chopped lemongrass or 1 handful fresh lemon balm leaves
    1 teaspoon caraway seeds
    1 teaspoon fennel seeds
    1 handful fresh peppermint leaves
1 handful fresh or 1 Tablespoon dried chamomile flowers
Optional: 1 licorice tea bag or stevia. Licorice adds digestive benefits along with sweetness. Licorice tea is unlikely to raise blood pressure, but those with hypertension should use with caution.
2 sprigs peppermint for garnish, optional

Note that you can replace the fresh peppermint and dried chamomile with a peppermint and a chamomile tea bag.

In a pot, combine the lemongrass, caraway, fennel, peppermint and chamomile with 2 cups of filtered water. Cover and bring to a boil.

Add the licorice tea bag (if using). Cover and set pot aside to steep for 20 minutes. Remove the tea bag. Using a strainer, pour the tea into a jar and chill.

(If not using a licorice tea bag, add stevia, if desired.) Divide the chilled tea between two ice-filled glasses and serve, garnished with mint sprigs, if desired. Serves 2.

    THIRST QUENCHER

After a hot summer day, reach for this thirst-quenching, electrolyte-laden drink.

Why: Known as “Haymaker’s Punch,” this summer drink has been a longtime favorite of American farmers, who drank it while working in the hot sun.

It serves a similar purpose as commercially made sports drinks, thanks to the potassium and magnesium in molasses.

The tangy apple cider vinegar makes you want to drink lots of it, plus ginger’s antinausea effect enables you to drink copious amounts without upsetting your stomach. It looks like iced coffee… and is tastiest served chilled, without ice.

    ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
    ¼ cup honey
    2 Tablespoons unsulphured molasses
    1 Tablespoon lemon juice
    1 teaspoon ground ginger

In a pot, combine the first three ingredients with 4 cups of cold water. Warm just until the honey dissolves. Mix in the lemon juice and ginger. Chill well. Serve in a chilled glass. Serves 4.

This is discrimination. We urge you to refuse any such advertisements.”

We have a jobs crisis in this country that has kicked millions of Americans out of work through no fault of their own.

But that hasn’t stopped job listing websites like Monster.com and CareerBuilder.com from allowing “help wanted” ads that tell unemployed people they won’t be considered for the job.

There’s something fundamentally unfair and perverse about telling unemployed people they can’t apply for a job simply because they don’t have one already.

New Jersey has already outlawed this type of discrimination against the jobless, and a bill has been introduced in Congress to follow suit.

But whether or not it’s still technically legal, it’s still just plain wrong. And the major job listing sites shouldn’t be a party to it.

Tell Monster.com, CareerBuilder.com and other job listing sites to stop allowing discrimination against the unemployed. Click here to automatically sign our petition.

A recent article in the New York Times showed that this type of discrimination is rampant.1 But if the big job sites refuse to run these discriminatory ads, it would go a long way towards ending this unfair practice.

We know that the job sites are susceptible to public pressure, so it’s vital that we all speak out.

After our friends at TrueMajority/USAction launched this campaign, Monster.com sent them a cease and desist letter.2 Our friends responded:

“USAction will not ‘cease and desist’ telling the world about hiring discrimination against the unemployed, about companies that engage in this practice, and about online job posting firms that enable it.

And that includes Monster.com, who should simply refuse ads from employers who openly discriminate against the unemployed.”

We’re proud to join them and turn the heat up on Monster.com and other job listing site, and take a stand for the millions of Americans who don’t have a job. We hope you’ll join us.

Tell Monster.com, CareerBuilder.com and other job listing sites not to allow discrimination against the unemployed. Click here to automatically sign our petition.

What can we do about the great American lie?

“What do we do in the face of a government corrupt to the core, a government that professes to be Of the People, by the People and for the People, yet continues to do the bidding of unaccountable corporate lobbyists, revolving door “experts,” and an overweening military technology industry? Do we continue to vote for new fodder for the corporate grist mill, aka Congress? Do we demand legislation that will stop the Congressional gravy train, from those who are first at the gravy bowl? Do we demand a President to lead us out of the wilderness scheduled to be clear-cut for corporate profits?”
The challenge at present is to penetrate the fog of lies and mindless distractions of popular culture sufficiently to foster such a revolution.

The solution is simple: we tell the truth. The Orwellian bumper sticker tells us: “During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.” Whenever we encounter a lie, we respond with the truth. From local neighborhoods to the White House, in the coffee shop or City Council chambers, we never let a lie pass unchallenged. This accomplishes two goals: we raise the consciousness of all within reach, and we challenge those who lie to us and expect to get away with it.

I would add I hope the storm floods the 9/11 area, also. I am so tired of white america making so much about it.

I hope it floods so much so that if there are any bodies left down in that over lauded place they float to the top and are carried out to sea.

The only lesson white america will take from New Orleans is to look at the Dutch concept to keep the water from coming in when they rebuild.

They certainly won’t learn anything by empathizing with the OTWs of New Orleans. Whites see our needs as welfare, and theirs as unavoidable accidents that require government assistance.

What would you expect from America’s Affirmative Action Beneficiaries? Those that feel entitled never feel the least embarrassed about having their hands out for government assistance.

They often spit into the faces of those giving it to them after they take the money. If you doubt this, just wait and you will hear those republikkkan governors knocking Obama while grabbing all the government assistance they can get him to give them.

The hypocrisy never ceases with those bastards. Don’t kill the messenger. All I’m doing is following the advice of Think Differently Says:

What kind of people want to be associated with a person who did what McCarthy did to innocent people? What kind of people want to be associated with a person who did what he did for political reasons.

Answer: Hypocrites who use “conservative” as code for I think I am better that you because I am white. When the leaders of the party use it to mean we get to get rich telling a bunch of idiots that they should elect us to office because we tell them we will keep them AMERICA’S AFFIRMATIVE ACTION BENEFICIARIES because they are white.

Oh, and it was Soviet infiltration in the US government he was worried about it was communism. If you “conservatives” are the least be curious as to why Human Events changed it to “Soviet” in filtration, that could be because your party sold our jobs to the biggest communistic party in the world CHINA.

Your party wouldn’t want you to wise up to the fact that they sold you the communist-are-coming scare for 50 years until it became more profitable to do business with them.

So now it is the socialist we have to be worried about. At least until your party leaders can find a way to make more money trading with them than using them as a vehicle to scare up investment money from the rank and file.

Michelle, I see you run a lot of articles by Dr. Mercola. You should know that the guy is really all about the money. Everyone he associates with has something to sell and he is open to the highest bidder in my humble opinion.

He is a republican. And like a republican business man he uses the system to gain the maximum tax advantage for himself to include supporting bought and paid for candidates or any willing to represent for pay.

He makes his money the typical republican party way through fear. He hypes the medical dangers so that he can sell you products to save you from that danger.

His fellow republicans in the investment industry hawk gold, silver and other commodities after they scare you into believing the world financial system is coming to an end.

That is the main purpose of the republican party to make money off the gullible, racist, bigot, homophile, xenophile, and greedy conscious less suckers that make up the rank and file.

The guy doesn’t have one genuine bone in his body. He is ALL about the money.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t use his articles, I wouldn’t presume to think I have a right to make that call. All I’m saying is take this greedy sleaze with a very careful look and NEVER purchase or recommend any of his products as they are over hyped and over priced.
