Holiday Cheer

Good morning! Merry Christmas!

I am going to keep it short his morning since hey, it is Christmas Morning.

I went back a few years to see what I blogged on Christmas, and I found that what I posted was still true for me today as well, so I am re-printing it here with one small addition :)

Dear Santa: I only wish for one thing for Christmas, and that is a better planet for all….for our environment to be loved and cared for; a mutual relationship that support, sustains and thrives, for peace to come to all walks of life that suffer at the hands and actions of others, for prosperity and good health for all, and for racism, sexism, and any other ‘ism’ that separates us, to end.

Oh…and one more thing that I want to add for this year…We need a president who will support this wish of mine and the only one I know that can do this is Obama. So how about it? Is that too much to ask for the world? I don’t think so.

Please stuff that into your bag of miracles this year, and spread it around the world –  Thank you.

ReadersThank you for the Merry Christmas wishes.  I want to wish all of you all a Happy Holiday as well – So Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah…whatever you’re celebrating, I HOPE this holiday brings you joy and love and quality time with your loved ones in whatever manner is meaningful to you.

You are all meaningful to me – With love and gratitude…

Peace out.

Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my “loyal”(?) readers. With all this back and forth about who owns what, that appears on my blog, let me reiterate that all material posted on my blog becomes the sole property of my blog. If you want to reserve any proprietary rights don’t post it to my blog. I will prominently display this caveat on my blog from now on to remind those who may have forgotten this notice.

    Hafa adai:

While Guam residents may be relaxing and enjoying their recently acquired Christmas gifts today, the people of the Philippines still are in the grips of a devastating storm that has wiped out tens of thousands of homes.

After Typhoon Sendong, international name Washi, swept over Iligan and Cagayan de Oro, Philippines, more than 1,000 are dead, with 1,582 people injured and 49 missing, as of Dec. 21.

The scale of the disaster has hit home for many of Guam, and residents have been pouring out support to help with the relief effort.

The Filipino Community of Guam already has raised about $15,000 from the community, and will solicit more donations today during a fundraising drive, FCG President Leah Beth Naholowaa said.

The American Red Cross has committed $75,000 to the relief efforts.

The storm destroyed about 30,000 homes, and sent 45,000 people to evacuation centers. Relief workers now are concerned about the transmission of diseases among victims staying in close quarters and unsanitary situations, according to the Associated Press.

Naholowaa encouraged anyone who can to come out to National Office Supply in Harmon today to be part of the relief effort. Volunteers will be at the store from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and will accept monetary donations, and non-perishable items, she said. The items will be shipped to the Philippines once a container has been filled.

It is truly showing the Xmas spirit giving to others in need.

‘Tis the Season for Feel-Good Films
    Special from Bottom Line/Personal
    December 1, 2009

These forgotten films offer wonderful holiday entertainment. Most are available on DVD and usually are shown on Turner Classic Movies (TCM) during the holiday season.

Babes In Toyland (1934). Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, the classic comedy team, intervene to keep the “old woman” from being evicted from her “shoe” while helping along a romance between Bo-Peep and Tom-Tom.

Holiday (1938). Cary Grant plays a carefree nonconformist who is engaged to Katharine Hepburn’s snooty sister. Once he gets to know the real person behind the sister’s façade, it’s Kate who wins his heart.

Bachelor Mother (1939). When a salesclerk (Ginger Rogers) picks up a baby that had been abandoned on a doorstep, her coworkers think that the infant is hers. When Ginger’s employer’s son (David Niven) gets involved, the results are hilarious.

Remember the Night (1940). Barbara Stanwyck is a shoplifter who is arrested just before the holidays. The court’s prosecutor (Fred MacMurray) takes pity on her and offers to bring her home to his house for Christmas.

The Shop Around the Corner (1940). If you liked the Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan movie You’ve Got Mail (1998), you’ll love the original, starring Margaret Sullavan and James Stewart, who dislike each other in real life but adore each other as pen pals.

The Cheaters (1945). A self-centered rich family invites a has-been actor (played by Joseph Schildkraut) to be their guest for the holidays and eventually are taught the true meaning of Christmas.

Christmas in Connecticut (1945). Barbara Stanwyck stars as a Martha Stewart–type who writes an article about what she plans to prepare for her family for their Christmas meal. Stanwyck is put on the spot by her boss, who, as a publicity stunt, invites himself and a famous war veteran (and the press) to her Connecticut home for Christmas.

Lou Sabini is a noted film historian, writer and archivist currently conducting film screenings throughout Connecticut and New York. He is writing a book called Hollywood Exposed, which includes many forgotten films of the 1930s and 1940s worthy of rediscovery. http://www.LouSabini.org

  5. Robert,Rt Says:

For the average working family, the extension of the payroll tax cut will translate into about an extra $775 in 2012. But this will only happen if the republicans can be forced to work together with the democrats to take the two-month extension and apply it to the full year.

If the economy is to continues to recover, making the payroll tax cut effective for all of next year is critical. America’s working classes were hit hardest by the recession, especially as other costs, such as utility bills and gas prices, continue to increase.

A few hundred extra dollars in the paychecks of America’s workers may not sound like a lot, but for many it will mean less worry about whether they will be able to cover all their bills and provide for their families.

It’s a small cushion, but an important one for millions of Americans.

    Robert, RT

  6. Will Says:

I am a 63 year old black man. I have been reading this blog for a few years now. I usually like the advice given by the “Health Info,” and the “General Info” posts.

But today I would like to take issue with the “General Info”s suggestion for “Feel-Good Films Special.” It may see petty or even “playing the race card” to some.

But as a victim of what I am concerned about I felt it necessary to bring this up. I am sorry if it means disturbing the peaceful tranquility of the white psyche.

Those films suggested by “General Info” are okay if you are white, but they are TERRIBLE if you are an OTW.

Allowing your children to view such racially manipulated propaganda will leave them with the impression that only white’s angst are important. They are the ONLY race featured in those films.

I would go so far as to suggest that ALL films(anything before the 1970′s) that were made when OTWs weren’t allowed to participate as equals to whites as actors be banned from your children’s viewing.

Whites like Lou Sabini can’t see the problem because it is not about the negative subliminal message being sent to white children, or adults viewing such films.

These films as with candidates that espouse racially prejudiced views, for most whites that is okay as long as they are not racially prejudiced views against whites.

I grew up in the era of movies featuring white only actors and issues in movies. I say if whites want to preserve the examples of their racism in the film industry, they can with the usual justification.

But we as OTWs should shun them for what they are; plainly and simplely, examples of whites presenting themselves as the center of the Universe at the expense of the OTWs of the world.

If OTWs want to find a feel-good film to show to their family, they should make sure that it is one that features OTWs as well as whites as equals.

Otherwise you risk aiding the negative subliminal impressions whites wish to impart to the minds of OTWs that they are not important.

White films before the early 1980′s subliminally if not out right overtly make it perfectly clear that only the angsts and issues of whites are important.

And they deliberately and falsely portray the world to be civilized and comfortable because of the contributions of whites only.

Finally, they distort history to hide any crimes they as a race have committed towards OTWs. and portray them as stupid immature creatures in need of the white man’s stewardship and intelligence to exist as human beings in a civilized world.

If you want your children to grow up believing that white anything is better than OTW anything, then by all means allow their young impressionable minds to be misused and misdirected by the racist images portrayed in those films.

Rest assured if a move(s) portrayed the white race as the systemic purveyors of genocide history has shown them to be, it would be banned and condemned as racial hatred.

I as you what do you call films that portray OTWs as simpletons who roll their eyes or are thieves, pimps, murders, or generally missing in the issues that are important to the world?

I call it films of the 20′s, 30′s, 40′s, 50′s, 60′s, 70′s, and possibly 80′s. Of course white’s call them “Classics.” I suppose if the Nazi’s had won, the derogatory films they made about the Jews would be classics also.

If whites want to view the films, they made the celluloid bigotry why not. But if you are an OTW, you have to be an idiot or wannabe white to find the slightest good feeling in watching a movie about whites, for whites, featuring only whites, doing things for and with whites in which all the crew of the movie are white directors are white, issues that are addressed are white, etc, etc.

  7. Human Events Says:

Some observers think that President Obama’s awful record should make it easy for any of the GOP candidates to beat him.

That’s a dangerous delusion. No incumbent should ever be underestimated, especially one the media loves. Also, each of the Republican candidates has proven highly adept at techniques for losing the 2012 election.

Some have shown a tendency toward academic discussions that leave voters feeling as if they’ve dropped in on a college dorm-room bull session… or worse, as if the candidates might use them as subjects in a sociology lab experiment.

Others have a dismaying tendency of forgetting the details of their own platforms, which leads voters to wonder how much the candidates really care about, or understand, the dramatic reforms they claim to support.

The inevitable desire to “move to the center” during the general election will tempt some candidates to pick fights with the Republican base, in the mistaken belief they’re so unhappy with Obama that absolutely nothing could make them stay home on Election Day.

Vigorous stated opposition to Obama’s policies, without a thorough understanding of why they are wrong, could open the GOP candidate to attack by swarms of media “fact-checking” piranha.

President Obama is very beatable, but losing is easy too. Far too many post-mortems for failed campaigns begin with the observation that the candidate never really understood the forces aligned against him.

The result of the 2012 campaign needs to be something better than a best-selling 2013 book by a defeated candidate, reviewing all the ways he or she was treated unfairly. Write that book in your heads right now, GOP contenders… and then run a campaign that tears it to shreds.

  8. Lois Says:

When the press printed this about Newt.
    ———————————
Gingrich has spent his years since [his first year as Speaker of the House] having an affair, divorcing his second wife and making money by being the consummate Washington insider — trading on access, taking $1.6 million from Freddie Mac and palling around with Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi and Al Sharpton.

Even Chuck Schumer wouldn’t be seen doing a joint event with Al Sharpton! But Newt seeks approval from strange places.

Newt Gingrich is the “anti-Establishment” candidate only if “the Establishment” is defined as “anyone who remembers what happened the day before yesterday.”
    ————————–
My husband went ballistic. He ranted and raved about how most people misunderstand the needs of a leader like Newt.

My 23 year old daughter piped in with “daddy you would excuse the man because you have been cheating on mom for nine years that I know about with your secretary, Mrs. Jefferson.

Now that Ron Paul has surged ahead in the polls in Iowa, perhaps this is the time for this http://www.tnr.com:

For years, Ron Paul published a series of newsletters that dispensed political news and investment advice, but also routinely indulged in bigotry. Here’s a selection of some especially inflammatory passages, with links to scanned images of the original documents in which they appeared.

Amazing who we will accept as a candidate for the President of all the people.

    Norma

  10. Janet Says:

Thanks Norma. and now for the customary white deference given by us whites to our bigoted candidates.

My Uncle is a rabid Ron Paul fan and he says the minorities should put up with a little bigotry for a better run country. My son asked me to ask him if he would feel that way if the candidate was bigoted against whites.

I smiled and said don’t ask him that if you want that motorcycle he promised you for Christmas. Today he got the motorcycle, so I asked him if he would ask his great uncle that question now.

He said no, because his uncle had promised to pay for his insurance. See how they want someone else to stand up to the bigots.

    What a world

    Janet.

  11. Brenda Says:

    Now for the real apologists.
    ===============

I took the time to read all the PDF’s on the other site before posting, and if those are the worst of the 15 year collection of newsletters, then I really don’t think Ron Paul has much to worry about. When they are read in context, they really are not that inflammatory, and the other articles that are on the same pages actually show how correct he was on some issues way back in the early 80′s.
I’d encourage everyone to actually read the PDFs and decide for themselves how ‘racist and homophobic’ they really are.
    ==========================
Of course they are not so bad they are against other races.

    Brenda

  12. Maria Says:

And folks here’s some of which the PDF’s he read and didn’t find so bad.
    ===============================

For years, Ron Paul published a series of newsletters that dispensed political news and investment advice, but also routinely indulged in bigotry. Here’s a selection of some especially inflammatory passages, with links to scanned images of the original documents in which they appeared.

    Race

“A Special Issue on Racial Terrorism” analyzes the Los Angeles riots of 1992: “Order was only restored in L.A. when it came time for the blacks to pick up their welfare checks three days after rioting began. … What if the checks had never arrived? No doubt the blacks would have fully privatized the welfare state through continued looting. But they were paid off and the violence subsided.”

The November 1990 issue of the Political Report had kind words for David Duke.

This December 1990 newsletter describes Martin Luther King Jr. as “a world-class adulterer” who “seduced underage girls and boys” and “replaced the evil of forced segregation with the evil of forced integration.”

A February 1991 newsletter attacks “The X-Rated Martin Luther King.”

An October 1990 edition of the Political Report ridicules black activists, led by Al Sharpton, for demonstrating at the Statue of Liberty in favor of renaming New York City after Martin Luther King. The newsletter suggests that “Welfaria,” “Zooville,” “Rapetown,” “Dirtburg,”and “Lazyopolis ” would be better alternatives—and says, “Next time, hold that demonstration at a food stamp bureau or a crack house.”

A May 1990 issue of the Ron Paul Political Report cites Jared Taylor, who six months later would go onto found the eugenicist and white supremacist periodical American Renaissance.

The January 1993 issue of the Survival Report worries about America’s “disappearing white majority.”

The July 1992 Ron Paul Political Report declares, “Jury verdicts, basketball games, and even music are enough to set off black rage, it seems,” and defends David Duke. The author of the newsletter—presumably Paul—writes, “My youngest son is starting his fourth year in medical school. He tells me there would be no way to persuade his fellow students of the case for economic liberty.”

A March 1993 Survival Report describes Bill Clinton’s supposedly “illegitimate children, black and white: ‘woods colts’ in backwoods slang.”

    Gays

The December 1989 Ron Paul Political Report contains entries on a “new form of racial terrorism,” cites former Congressman Bill Dannemeyer’s claim that “the average homosexual has 1,000 or more partners in a lifetime,” and quotes Lew Rockwell, president of the Ludwig von Mises Institute, in the third person.

In January 1990, the Ron Paul Political Report cites “a well-known libertarian editor” who “told me: ‘The ACT-UP slogan on stickers plastered all over Manhattan is ‘Silence=Death.’ But shouldn’t it be Sodomy = Death’?”

The September 1994 issue of the Ron Paul Survival Report states that “those who don’t commit sodomy, who don’t get blood a transfusion, and who don’t swap needles, are virtually assured of not getting AIDS unless they are deliberately infected by a malicious gay.”

The June 1990 issue of the Political Report says: “I miss the closet. Homosexuals, not to speak of the rest of society, were far better off when social pressure forced them to hide their activities.”

A January 1994 edition of the Survival Report states that “gays in San Francisco do not obey the dictates of good sense,” adding: “[T]hese men don’t really see a reason to live past their fifties. They are not married, they have no children, and their lives are centered on new sexual partners.” Also, “they enjoy the attention and pity that comes with being sick.”

    Survivalism and Militias

The January 1995 issue of the Survival Report—released just three months before the Oklahoma City bombing—cites an anti-government militia’s advice to other militias, including, “Don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.”

The October 1992 issue of the Political Report paraphrases an “ex-cop” who offers this strategy for protecting against “urban youth”: “If you have to use a gun on a youth, you should leave the scene immediately, disposing of the wiped off gun as soon as possible. Such a gun cannot, of course, be registered to you, but one bought privately (through the classifieds, for example).”

    Conspiracies

This 1978 newsletter says the Trilateral Commission is “no longer known only by those who are knowledgeable about international conspiracies, but is routinely mentioned in the daily news.”

    Middle East

A 1989 newsletter compares Salman Rushdie to Ernst Zundel, a Canadian Holocaust-denier.

    Anti-Government Paranoia/Conspiracy Theories/Survivalism

A fundraising letter from Paul’s 1984 Senate campaign in which Paul complains about the “minions of Kissinger and Rockefeller” and “the big New York banks, and their pals in Texas” who “want me silenced.”

The January 1988 Ron Paul Political Report approvingly cites Dr. William C. Douglass, who “believes that AIDS is a deliberately engineered hybrid” developed at a World Health Organization experiment conducted at Ft. Detrick. Douglass has long been a fringe medical guru, and today claims that “smoking can help you live longer!!!”

The November 1989 Ron Paul Political Report reports on the Bohemian Grove and Ronald Reagan’s “old Trilateralist agenda item of four-year terms for Congressmen.”

This 1993 Ron Paul Strategy Guide entitled, “How to Protect Yourself from Urban Violence,” is a special supplement to the Ron Paul Survival Report.

In the April 1993 Ron Paul Survival Report, the author—writing in the first person—states, “Whether [the 1993 World Trade Center bombing] was a setup by the Israeli Mossad, as a Jewish friend of mine suspects, or was truly a retaliation by the Islamic fundamentalists, matters little.” The newsletters also warns readers to “do your very best to keep your family away from inner cities. If you can’t, have a haven remote from the metropolitan areas.”

The May 1995 issue of the Ron Paul Survival Report warns of “The Trilateralist Alan Greenspan” and its author writes, “Now that my five children are grown and educated, I’ve listened to the many supporters who’ve urged me to return to office. I can now give up my medical practice, and dedicate every fiber of my being to saving our country.” The newsletter also contains an advertisement for the Ron Paul congressional exploratory committee.

The September 1995 issue of the Ron Paul Survival Report asks about “Black Helicopters?”

The June 1996 issue of the Ron Paul Survival Report refers to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms officers as “Jackbooted Thugs.”

    Jews

The November 1992 Ron Paul Survival Report defends chess champion and Holocaust-denier Bobby Fischer, saying that “the brilliant Fischer, who has all the makings of an American hero, is very politically incorrect on Jewish questions, for which he will never be forgiven, even though he is a Jew. Thus we are not supposed to herald him as the world’s greatest chess player.”

    Pat Buchanan

In January 1992, Paul writes about his consideration of a presidential bid which he dashed after Pat Buchanan expressed his intention to run. Paul wrote of “the essential compatibility between [Buchanan’s] ideas and mine” and “agreed to serve as the chairman of his economic advisory committee.”

A 1992 issue of the Rothbard-Rockwell-Report tells of Paul’s decision to defer to Pat Buchanan in the 1992 Republican presidential primary.

    Newsletter Authorship

The masthead of March 1987 Ron Paul Investment Letter lists “the Hon. Ron Paul” as “Editor and Publisher” and “Llewellyn H. Rockwell Jr.” as one of several contributing editors.

Want to bet the guy who gave Ron Paul a pass for this racist diatribes was one of those that went mad over the “Gott damn America” from Rev. Williams?

So I guess it is more about who the candidate was bigoted about than the bigotry itself.

think that there is a whole lotta got to be gotcha-ed here with Paul. This is not adolescent folly but the expression of racial hate and bigotry. Not so easily swept under the rug like a youthful peccadillo. This guy wants to be President of the United States. Whether he likes it or not, he owns these comments because they came out under The Ron Paul Newsletter. It really is not that difficult.

@folks trying to get Ron Paul off the hook here; please.

His name was on these newsletters, he published them and – he profited from them. I googled and the number was upwards of a million bucks.

It’s indefensible really; likewise the assertion that this was SO LONG AGO that it doesn’t count. Well the 1980′s and 1990′s were not the age of the brontosaurus now were they.

This guy is a racist and the only reason he is being given a pass is because he is one of us, white. If I know my fellow Iowans he should do very well in the voting. I would bet he can win once they full lot of these get out We Iowans secretly love to have the OTW.

There is no doubt in my mine if he were expressing those type of views against whites he would have been run out of town. My husband is jewish and he said that this guy has always been a supporter of David Duke and anyone who is anti jew.

This quote from one of the comments sums it up for me.
    ===========================

Ron Paul has been exposed as somebody who pals around with the fascist right. Soon the little creep will be back on the fringe where he belongs.

But the mainstream US right is philosemitic. Sadly, anti-Semitism is becoming more and more ensconced on the left.

In Europe there is no question of this. But the US is not far behind. When are liberal Jews going to wake up and realize that they are being had?
    =====================
I’m Latina and many of my relatives are anti semite. It seems that whites dictate who various OTW groups should support. They pit the different asian factions against each other , the blacks against the spanish, and all of us against the blacks.

When will we as OTWs wake up and take charge of the mess racist whites have made of this country. There are certainly enough of the non racist whites to help us take back our country from the 1% and the racist minions they command.

    Michelle:

I am sad to say that the admonitions you and Madaline gave us about our men here in Egypt have proven to be true.

As you warned once the men that they have used us to help them win their freedoms, they will vote to take away any freedoms the women would have gained because of it.

The Al Nour, islamic party won the vote. Egyptian men over whelmingly voted to have the country return to the days of old when women were but sex toys for men with no rights legally when it comes to opposing a man in a court of law.

The Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party caved in to their demands and gave us up as sacrificial lambs for the slaughter.

But it appears all didn’t turn out as well as the men had hoped. It seems they may have traded one military regime for another.

So now they come to us to help them again. They begged us to go to Tahrir Square in Cairo with them. Hoping, of course, to have Madaline intervene as she did before.

But this time we refused. We reminded them of their betrayal to Al Nour. They denied that they had made any deals with them. But we know that when the men cast their ballots they are voting to put women back into the control of men.

Chaos ensued everywhere. The voting was disrupted by corrupt military police. Judges, supervising the elections and voters were beat up by the soldiers.

The few women that went were violated by the soldiers. They were stripped, beaten and kicked. Madaline encouraged us to march on the square as women in support of those women.

We did and the cowardly men backed in the face of Madaline. The ruling generals came out to offer and apology fearing retaliation by Madaline.

It has been a glorious day for women. Not so for the cowardly civilian men of Egypt. Many were killed when the military attacked them in Tahrir Square.

    Thank you Michelle

  16. Bost Says:

    Michelle:

Before the encouragement of Madaline the most women that would go out was 2 to 3 hundred. But Madaline brought out thousands. Nothing like it had ever been seen in Egypt’s history.

We women have won no seats in parliament because the men refuse to vote for a woman. This after we started the action against President Hosni Mubarak 10 months ago. The men followed us.

After our success the men froze us out of revolutionary coalitions that were formed in the aftermath. We were left out.

We returned to Tahrir Square in the thousands and the military in the face of Madaline’s threat to destroy them in front of the world fell to their knees and began apologizing immediately. This is what was said.

“The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces expresses its utmost sorrow for the great women of Egypt, for the violations that took place during the recent events,” the council said “It stresses its great appreciation for the women of Egypt.”

Some of the soldiers had earlier ripped off the abayas of women marchers revealing their bras.

It is sickening what men will do, if they feel they can get away with it.

    The Truth About Pawnshops

Gone are the days of pawnshops as places to unload stolen goods.

In many municipalities, pawnshops are required to provide law enforcement with a daily list of all pawned items, along with descriptions including serial numbers (if applicable).

A pawnshop’s primary role is to offer small, short-term loans using merchandise as collateral—though you also can buy and sell items at most pawnshops.

The top five categories of pawned items in the country are jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, tools and guns.

The time within which the borrower has to repay a loan is called the hold period—it is set by each state and varies throughout the country, anywhere from 30 days to six months.

Interest rates on the loan also are set by each state and generally range from 2% to 25%.

If you don’t pay back the loan and the interest, you lose your collateral, but it does not impact on future loans as it would with an unpaid bank loan—and there are no credit score issues to haunt you.

The Texans are at it again – solving their problems with a gun. Murdering family members as they unwrap their xmas presents.
    ===============================
Seven shot dead in “Christmas Capital of Texas”

GRAPEVINE, Texas (Reuters) – Police in a Dallas suburb dubbed the “Christmas Capital of Texas” searched for clues on Monday to explain the apparent murder-suicide rampage that left seven people shot dead among unwrapped holiday presents.

The dead — four women and three men, one of them believed to be the gunman — were found late Sunday morning in an apartment living room in the town of Grapevine by police answering a voiceless 911 emergency call, authorities said.

Two pistols were recovered from the home, said Sergeant Robert Eberling of the Grapevine police department, who called it a “gruesome crime scene” and the worst outburst of gun violence in the town’s history.

Circumstances of the shooting remained sketchy, but Eberling said it appeared as though the bloodbath unfolded during a family holiday celebration as one man opened fire on six other people in the apartment, then killed himself.

No one was found alive by police arriving at the home, he said.

A community of about 46,000 people some 20 miles northwest of downtown Dallas, Grapevine is known for its wine-tasting salons and was recently proclaimed by the state Senate as the “Christmas Capital of Texas” for its abundance of annual holiday-season events.

“This is obviously a terrible tragedy,” Mayor William Tate said Sunday night in a statement given to Reuters. “The fact that it happened on Christmas makes it even more tragic. This appears to be a family situation and anyone who has a family will be incredibly saddened by that happened.”

    VOICELESS 911 CALL

Police dispatched at about 11:30 a.m. local time on Sunday found the bodies in the first-floor living room of a two-story unit in the Lincoln Vineyards apartments, police said.

The 911 caller never spoke to police, and officers did not see the telephone when they arrived, officials said. Eberling said he believed police had to kick in the door to enter. No neighbors reported hearing gunshots, he said.

Eberling said the victims appeared to have just opened Christmas presents when the shooting started, and there was no visible sign of forced entry or a struggle.

“By all appearances, they’re all part of the same family,” Eberling said. “It’s a gruesome crime scene to say the least, with that many victims in that (small an) area suffering gunshot wounds.”

Two of the dead were believed to be in their 50s or 60s, while the others appeared to be young adults, ranging in age from about 18 to 20 years, according to police.

Authorities did not immediately identify the victims and did not speculate on a possible motive for the shooting.
The bodies remained in the apartment well past dark as investigators worked into the early hours of Monday morning processing the crime scene, police said.

Lincoln Vineyards is a middle-income complex near Colleyville Heritage High School, one of the area’s most highly regarded schools.

Several neighbors told Reuters that children frequently played in front of the apartment, and they regularly saw young adults leaving for work.

Vanessa Barerra said the killings were especially disturbing in light of Grapevine’s reputation as a safe place to live.

“I did research and chose to live here because of the safety and the school district,” she said. “I’m glad my kids weren’t here. They’re with their dad.”

I hope everyone had a merry day yesterday : )

I wish I could find the list of feel good films, it must be last week, could not find it in past 2 days comments. I would agree with Will on general principles, the best thing I ever did for my kid was to live in another country where we were the minority and there wasn’t the subliminal american-centric OTW views.

Here and I think everywhere, those views are ingrained from the moment your born via your parents worldview and then add church/school/pals…but when your raised somewhere where the classroom is from 15 different nations it does change things dramatically.

Then and now, my kid has more pals from mixed marriages and there is no hard and fast rules amongst them, some are dark, some are light, some are blond/blue/hispanic, you name it.

Will and Alycedale, whether you know middle school culture or not, here’s one for you – the boys of all colors call each other ‘my niggah’ supposedly said with affection, what is up with that? These are kids in private school, kids from all cultures as well. They think it’s funny and ‘not a big deal’ – why don’t they?

And in Orange County there are kids who are having sex parties and the girls are not allowed to call rape no matter what goes on once they walk in those doors, and they know once they do they will be sexual participants of their own will and/or slaves (since they have no say in who they get or what goes on) for the duration, so while things like this go on in the world and clearly against the wishes of OTWs and women of other cultures, right here we are somewhat promoting these insane behaviors in the 12/13-19 yr old groups, how’d that happen?? Can either of you or anyone tell me bc it seems like we prefer taking steps backwards…

Wishing everyone a happy boxing day, I am off to the races! Luv, Zen Lill

I”m a white woman who lives in Ohio. I am left open-mouthed by some of the things being said by “christians” here who are twisting in their pious hypocrisy in their attempt to support the twice divorced womanizer Gingrich.

This is Republican, Bush country. But you have to stoop real low to fine moral values that we espouse in Gingrich. But it seems that as long as the men tell us that he can stand toe to toe with than nigger, he will get our support.

Not me. When I am alone in that booth, if that womanizer is on the ticket for our party. I will not cast a vote. I can’t vote that coon in but I refuse to vote for a womanizing scoundrel.

My Bible means a lot to me. I will go to my maker knowing that my soul is clean.

  22. John Says:

Erica, please change your mind. The nigger can not be allowed to return to the head of a White man’s country. We are the laughing stock of every white civilized country on the planet.

We have to get back control of the country founded by our white forefathers. A no vote by you is what Michelle is telling the followers of that nigger not to do because it is a yes vote for the opposition.

Hold your nose if you have to. God is begging you to return his country to his chosen people. Vote the Republican candidate that your party fields against that nigger.

This Election “Remember the Alamo” will be replaced by ANYBODY BUT THAT NIGGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    John

  23. Mark Says:

    Ditto John.

    Erica:

Several of those who have come around to Gingrich say they’re not put off by his personal past.

“Would I want him as a marriage counselor? No, “But that’s not what we’re electing.”

Gingrich’s candidacy is on firmer ground because he’s already undergone years of scrutiny.

“They’ve already raked him over the coals pretty good. He is not perfect, but a lot better than any other candidate.

The nigger has got to go.

  24. Troy Says:

You guys are truly scary. You will support a man who can’t manage to qualify to get on the ballot in his home state of Virginia.

And having failed that the compounds his stupidity by telling the voters that he will defy the Virginia state law prohibiting write-ins on primary ballots by pursuing an aggressive write-in campaign in Virginia, although state law prohibits write-ins on primary ballots.

This is why the OTWs on this blog accuse us whites of hypocrisy of Just-Us Justice. We simply defy any law that we deem inconvenient.

    Troy

  25. Rawlings Says:

If Newt can’t follow the directions to get on the primary ballot in his home state, how can anyone expect him to be able to run a country?

I guess there are two different standards on that issue. One for the black man and one for the white man.

I may not be happy with having a black man run this country but I can close my eyes and remember his mother is White.

The republicans can’t offer anyone who is qualified to be President, Obama has shown that he is more than capable of running the country.

Sure he is black. But I say vote for the White half.

    Rawlings

  26. Victoria Says:

Erica, I am on your side. I will not vote for that philanderer. The men in our party expect too much from us this time. I say sit this one out.

If Romney gets the nomination, I will not vote for a non Christian. I will not support that man’s evil incarnation of Christianity.

I do not know enough about Ron Paul. But he looks like a nasty kike. I suspect his past demonstrative rants against our niggras is a smoke screen to keep us from checking on his heritage.

It would not be the first time a filthy jew has tried to become a white man by denouncing his own people. My great grandfather used to tell us stories about jews in Poland who shot other jews while hurling the foulest epithets at them to avoid their on execution.

Most were rooted out and dealt with. I think this Ron Paul is one of those vermin. So I will not support him.

Sorry Mr. Rawlings, half white isn’t good enough for me.

I’ll not vote for a slave to be my President.
