Wanna Go For A Ride? Hop On Top!
Posted by Michelle Moquin on January 12th, 2012
Good morning!
Before your minds get dirty on me, and I can see from the 99 comments (Woo Hoo! – that’s a record!) this morning that amongst all of the hot topics, the ending topic was of course “SEX”. :) Keep reading…It’s not what you think.
Everyone knows I am a huge animal lover and dogs are my choice for a domestic pet. But when I read starting reading the writes about Romney and his “Let’s-tie-the-dog-to-the-roof-and-take-a-12-hour-road-trip”, I just had to blog about it. (Thanks Caroline and Ursla for broaching the topic. You know I have to talk my two about this.)
I read this story on the internet written in 2007 during the 2008 campaigning, but I do not remember seeing it then or I would’ve blogged about it then. It looks like it is getting plenty of media time again and rightly so in my opinion.
Does it bother you that Romney put his dog in a kennel and tied it to the roof of his car? It does more than bother me. I find it to be simply cruel, inhuman, and lacking empathy, not to mention it is against Massachusetts law:
Massachusetts law prohibits carrying an animal “in or upon a vehicle, or otherwise, in an unnecessarily cruel or inhuman manner or in a way and manner which might endanger the animal carried thereon.”
But as you know Romney didn’t get arrested for it, nor did he get a fine of any sort that I am aware of.
And I don’t care if he provided a “wind shield” – The dog is isolated and vulnerable to the wind, the speed, not to mention that it was so very stressful for his dog Seamus, that the dog lost control of his bowels! If Romney didn’t know that the dog was stressed out during the ride, the diarrhea running down the back window of the car should’ve of been a clue!
But no, Romney pulls off at an “unplanned stop”, hoses the dog off, sticks him back up on the roof and continues on the drive. And from what I have heard on Snopes, he “made it clear to his five sons in the car that bathroom breaks would only be taken at predetermined breaks to gas the car” – Wha’at?! – If he’s not going to make an “unplanned stop” to let one of his sons relieve himself, don’t plan on him caring much about the dog. And we can see that he didn’t.
Here’s a recent write:
Mitt Romney Admits He Tied Family Dog To The Roof of His Car [Video]
When Mitt Romney tied the family dog on the roof of his car in an airtight container then drove for 12 hours to Canada, he had no idea it would come back 20 years later to piss off animal lovers around the country.
But piss them off it has. In an interview with Fox News Romney, the front runner for the Republican nomination for President, admitted that he did it, and even more claimed that the dog really liked it.
He was confronted by the interviewer who said that in Romney’s own home state of Massachusetts the law is that you cannot (even in an airtight container) put your dog on the roof of a moving vehicle because it is considered inhumane.
Romney did keep his cool in the interview, and kept going back to his stock answer of “The dog enjoyed it, he wanted to be there, he got in willingly”
As you can see from the interview, the strangest part is when Romney tells the interviewer that the Kennel on top of the car was AIRTIGHT as if it is a good thing!
There has not been a huge backlash against Romney for the act (it was more than 20 years ago) but this week a protester in South Carolina strapped a stuffed dog to the roof of his car and hung a sign on the side of it saying “Dogs Against Romney”
What do you think about Romney tying his dog to the roof of his car for a twelve hour drive?
Watch the interview:
*L*S*O*S*
Readers: Romney justifies his actions by saying the dog got in willingly.
“He scrambled up there every time we went on trips,” Romney said. “He got [up] all by himself and enjoyed it.”
What an idiot.
And don’t you just love that Romney claims back in 2007 that “They’re (the critics) not happy that my dog likes fresh air”, and yet in this video he says that the container was “airtight”. (Again, like “airtight” is a good thing) Get your stories straight Romney – is your dog getting air or is he not?
An idiot, and a Lying Sack Of Shit. He belongs in the LSOS Club. Oops, forgot, he already qualified for membership.
Thoughts? Blog me.
Howie: Thanks. As always, I look forward to more.
ZL: Thanks. I liked it when I read it, and decided to adopt it for myself. :)
Mike: I agree with you. Can you imagine how lax our police force would be if the knowledge of aliens living amongst us or flying above us was out in the open? If it wasn’t obvious who the perpetrator was, they would most likely blame crimes on the aliens and do little if any investigation. In fact they would probably get so lazy, and blame everything on the aliens…crimes, murders etc., that nothing would get done and criminals would have a field day, everyday, with very little convictions made.
Al: Good memory – you are correct. It seems some people don’t learn. It was racist then and it still is.
Anna of Guam: Done. Senator Blas of Guam is now a member of the LSOS Club.
Ida: So well said!
Debra: That is one of the most ridiculous quotes I have ever heard.
Keep commenting – Peace out.

Jeff, I merely said that if you’re not satisfied and/or there’s little chemistry then get out now, and through experience (not my own thank the stars) pals have told me of spending YEARS with men with little ones that not only didn’t satisfy but required endless ego stroking bc of their deficit. We’re not ONLY looking for dicks we’re looking for a complete package, what man would put up with a woman who didn’t meet up to their surface standards and be a complete package to take care of their selfish needs, not many so why are we so awful for wanting what we want. We all have the right to want what we want and if I want a tall dark and handsome man of character who’s sporting a swinging one to boot, who are you to judge that?
And hello…no one is burning in hell except people who share that specific belief, I don’t believe in heaven or hell (both are right here if you want to live your life that way, if so, pick heaven here on earth, would you?) and I don’t share those specific values, so may that flock of indoctrinated booby-heads burn in hell for wanting great sex. Me: I’m just going to enjoy my life, my sex life included.
I’m sure I’ll have more to say after watching that video, be back later…!

Candi love the “playing in the snow” reference to dating white guys. And they can be flakes.
I have only played in the snow being a white woman. I can tell you that most of us(white girls) do not know the difference from a big penis as you refer to it.
We are so used to what is available that I dare say most of us wouldn’t be in a position to say we had a “big” one according to your standards.
It is only with the internet that most of us get to see what a really big one looks like and we have to be willing to explore the net to do that.So my advice may not be that salient.
I have had what I consider big and the small. Men usually bring the same mental stress regardless of their size,so If I had to put up with the stress in one area I would settle for less in the other.
Balance is the important thing for me. Sometimes the guy with the big dick is more of a pain that it’s worth because he knows that he is a catch and he is a dog.
But on the other hand since he has a big dick, he is more secure and he is a pleasure to be around. He isn’t so possessive and he is comfortable around blacks because he doesn’t secretly feel inferior in that department.
My guess is if your man hasn’t any issues with his black friends and hangs well then he is probably well equipped.
He may be reluctant to mount you because you have been acting squeamish and he doesn’t want to put you off. Also it may be his first time and he could be feeling the same insecurities about his paleness down there as you are about your darkness.
My suggestion is to invite him over get sexy, turn the lights down low, and get it on. I have never been with a black man. I have been propositioned and I have thought about it but I was not mentally ready.
I guess some of the old stereotype prejudices instilled in me down south are still there.
I hope my advice is helpful. Your story has the juices flowing for some adventure on my part. Why should this 33 year old filly spend her full years only being mounted by the locals when the Clydesdales are fit for stud duty?
Alycedale you always say a mouthful that’s why the ole rev. is so unsettled.

NEW HEALTH TEST KIDS NEED
Many grown-ups already think that the lines are growing too blurry between childhood and adulthood, and now here comes a new recommendation that all children should be screened for cholesterol between the ages of nine and 11! Is this really necessary?
The US National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) thinks that it is… and the American Academy of Pediatrics agrees. Let’s see why…
WHY SCREENING MORE KIDS MAY HELP
The thinking behind this new recommendation is quite simple and logical. When high cholesterol is discovered at a young age, lifestyle changes can be implemented earlier… and good health habits ingrained early in life are more likely to be maintained.
Plus, while heart disease is rare in young people, risk factors that are not checked early can greatly increase the danger of cardiovascular disease (CVD) as an adult — and CVD is the number-one killer in the US.
Conversely, if you get to age 45 to 50 with few to no risk factors, then your chance of heart disease in subsequent years is low.
The previous guidelines on kids and cholesterol testing, released in 1992, advised pediatricians to screen only those who had a family history of either heart disease or high cholesterol.
So why broaden the recommendation? To find out, I called Stephen R. Daniels, MD, PhD, professor and chairman, department of pediatrics, University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora and chairman of the NHLBI panel that made the recommendation.
One big reason for the change, he told me, is that getting an accurate family history is often impossible — so the old guidelines couldn’t be put into practice reliably.
Another reason for the new recommendation stems from a January 2010 report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which discovered that about 20% of all American children and teens have “abnormal” lipid levels — which are an indication of too much LDL (bad) cholesterol, too little HDL (good) cholesterol and/or high triglycerides (blood fats).
Since this startling statistic includes kids with no family history of heart disease or high cholesterol, it’s clear evidence that a fair number of kids with high cholesterol are not currently being screened for it — and therefore don’t know that they have it.
If you’re thinking that screening more kids for cholesterol will be a boon for the pharmaceutical companies, it probably won’t — because fewer than 1% of kids tested will have the specific high-risk genetic profile that makes them eligible for cholesterol-lowering medications, said Dr. Daniels.
For the overwhelming majority of kids, lifestyle changes — meaning a better diet and more exercise — will be the fix.
NO NEED TO FAST?
While adult cholesterol screening is optimally done only after a 12-hour fast, kids who are having an initial screening don’t need to have their levels pinned down quite so precisely, so they don’t have to fast first.
But those found to have unhealthy cholesterol levels will need another test for which a fast is required. The initial screening is a simple blood test, and it can be done during a regular annual checkup. It may or may not be covered by insurance, so check with your provider.
The truth is, many pediatricians have already been doing this routinely for years — so in many doctors’ offices, all that is changing is that the recommendation to test kids’ cholesterol levels is now official from organizations that have clout.
If you are the parent of a school-age child, ask your child’s pediatrician whether the test has already been done — as with many types of tests, results aren’t always specifically reported to parents unless they ask. If the test hasn’t already been performed, discuss it with the doctor.
It’s an easy thing that we can all do — in addition to teaching kids good eating habits and exercise routines — to help them grow up healthy.

About that book Limbaugh was ranting about. The author, Jodi Kantor was on the Today Show admitting she could have been more “precise” about what she had written about the Obamas.
Admitting on national television that your supposedly non-fiction book lacks precision raises a red flag. Add in the fact that you had not interviewed or spoken with the subjects about the book brings into question the credibility of your work as a writer.
Ms. Kantor wouldn’t have to make excuses for a lack of precision if her book was based on information gained first hand from the Obamas. Without that her writing falls into that nebulous, questionable zone called speculation.
January 12th, 2012 at 11:35 am
why the book is suspect is due to something the first lady pointed out.
How can Kantor know what Michelle Obama was thinking at all times and her inner personal feelings on something.
Kantor projected herself and her assumptions into the first lady’s thoughts.
January 12th, 2012 at 11:38 am
It is only common sense that a person wouldn’t know if you were frustrated if they hadn’t talked to you.
Yet, in her book she say the First Lady was frustrated.
How would she KNOW if the First Lady was frustrated? She did NOT talk to the First LADY about ANYTHING that she wrote!

When I first saw her picture I thought it was a man in drag. Maybe she is related to Ann Coulter.
That said this book would have gone over better if it was written as a fictional novel like the one written about Laura Bush American Wife. Which was actually pretty good and made Laura a more sympathetic character.

Experts are hoping the housing market will hit bottom any day now, and begin rebounding in 2012. The market is in bad shape for a number of reasons, including high unemployment rates which decrease the pool of potential homeowners, and tougher standards for securing a home loan.
The housing market was devastated by the subprime mortgage crisis, which was a result of politicians like Bill Clinton concluding that “sadly, in the 1980s, it became much harder for many young families to buy their first home, and our national homeownership rate declined for the first time in 46 years.”
To reverse this trend, it was decided that the federal government would “partner” with local governments, nonprofits and private industry to “lower barriers that prevent American families from becoming homeowners.” We all know what happened next.
Writing at Café Hayek, Russ Roberts offers an alternative explanation for the “problem” that government set out to “solve” by wrecking the housing and financial industries: Skyrocketing divorce rates in the Seventies led to more newly single people renting homes in the Eighties instead of buying them. The Big Government “solution” to the “problem” of flat home buying was based on a complete misunderstanding of the “problem.”
This is one of many cases in which a populist impulse — make young voters happy by helping them buy a house! — ignored powerful economic undercurrents that were difficult for both central planners and voters to perceive. The image of benevolent politicians beaming warmly as happy constituents clutched their government-supported loan paperwork and marched into their new houses, on the other hand, was very easy to see.
Politicians are naturally inclined to see only problems they can “solve” in a high-profile way, with the only tools at their disposal: Regulation and compulsion. They didn’t merely fail to notice the forces Roberts describes, which involved large numbers of people making personal decisions.
Politicians are incapable of perceiving such forces. Private enterprises can be ruined by such ignorance, but the blind giants of the State march on forever, until they drop dead in their tracks, crushing us all beneath them.

He also let the dog ride in the back of a pick up and wander around town. The kids noticed that diarrhea was running down the back window so Romney pulled off and hose the car, cage, and dog off at a gas station.
He thinks its funny. Probably thinks that taking all the employees of a paper factory out to a 4th of July picnic, only to let them find out that the doors were closed and locked for good when they came back was a wonderful joke.
January 12th, 2012 at 1:00 pm
Me I can’t wait for them to make comparisons to something Obama did so the can say oh that was just as bad.
January 12th, 2012 at 1:01 pm
Did you notice he wasn’t as concerned about the dog as he was about whether it was illegal?
January 12th, 2012 at 1:06 pm
Don’t worry they will give him so much benefit of the doubt because he is a white man. It had been Obama or Vick he would be in jail already.
January 12th, 2012 at 1:10 pm
Wow…he justifies this by saying the dog got in willingly. What an idiot.
January 12th, 2012 at 1:11 pm
I hope to hell he doesn’t get the nomination, as I cannot stand him. The only one I detest worse is Obama, and as I have been in animal rescue for many years, that’s saying something.
January 12th, 2012 at 1:19 pm
So let me guess why you wouldn’t vote for Obama. His opponent is a person who by our profession you have probably seen many. A callous self centered human who abuses animals.
But, hey, he’s white and the guy he is running against is black. So no contest, you vote for the white guy.
Yeah, I’d say ” that’s saying something.”
January 12th, 2012 at 1:21 pm
We all have our opinions on this matter and I, for one, can forgive an ignorant choice a human made years ago such as this. I’m sure he would never do anything even remotely close to this again.
And, BTW, I am a Democrat so my feelings on this issue are not “party” related. I just feel this man knows what he did was wrong and I’m not going to judge his entire character on this incident.
January 12th, 2012 at 1:24 pm
Sure you are a democrat AS and I’m the easter bunny. You are just another sorry republican making excuses for your man. Just what part of that interview left you with the impression “he would never do anything even remotely close to this again.”
Oh, yes, that would be your membership in the republican LSOS Club.

Ingrid, on third of the white people in this country like Kathryn would vote for a man that just killed their mother if he was running against Obama.
That is why they can’t field a good candidate. It isn’t necessary. The only necessity is that he be male and white.

OMG that was 20 yrs. ago when a dog was a dog. I love dogs and we always had two or three when we had children.
But I agree with the man, a lot of people left their dogs in basement,( man cave ) if you don’t remember a basement. Warm furnace, old rug to lay on, somebody coming over every day to feed him. better than no vacation.
The only time they went to vet was if they got hit by car.My Grandfather had beagle hunting dogs all year, fed from scraps from supper, food gravy and homemade bread. Then they go hunting .
They were out in trunk of car, didn’t go far but would come home with the rabbits, etc. So old wasn’t so bad. But a dog wasn’t a toy,it was a dog ! Got a new bale of straw for winter in cold Pa.
Now,26yrs later I have a son with a pit bull sleeping in his bed and a Granddaughter with a TOY FRENCH BULL DOG, that we could have probably bought a car for and they love them and so do we so it’s a sign of the times !! :-)
January 12th, 2012 at 1:38 pm
Nice try CJ but I’m afraid that lame excuse doesn’t work. For one thing this guy is rich and he wouldn’t belong to the class you were describing.
Second, if a guy would tie his family pet to the top of his car in front of his family who love the dog also. What does it say about the control he has over them and more importantly what kind of person they know he is?
That would be a cruel insensitive person. Great qualifications for the President of the USA.
January 12th, 2012 at 1:45 pm
Even 20 years ago boarding options were available for family pets when they went on vacation.
We had a Collie we always boarded with our vet when we went on a vacation that we couldn’t take her with us.
Strapping your pet to the roof was/is unacceptable. Mitt WAS top choice for me for the presidential candidate until reading this article.

“”In general, if you have a dog in a car, that dog is not wearing a seat belt. And I dare say there were no seat belts for dogs [in 1983], so I don’t know if it makes any difference where the dog is,” said Osheroff.
“My dog was harnessed and secured in the car in 1983, and “dog boxes” and crates were in existence. No excusing his callous behavior.

I wouldn’t normally but, it’s an election year. I’ve read this from every source I can find and the story is full of hear say.
Did they stop to feed and water the dog? My guess is they did and the carrier most likely had provisions for food and water in it.
I’m not passing judgement on the Romneys for mistreatment of their family pet without more evidence than some politically motivated newspaper hack that has an obvious grudge against the Gov.
I pass open cage tyson chicken trucks, open cattle trucks, open hog carriers, and stake bed trucks with livestock in the back every day.
Any of you people quit eating chicken, bacon, steaks, of eggs because of the treatment of animals? Yes, well bless your little heart.
For me, Ole Blue rides in my truck any where he wants to and I share my chicken, steak, bacon, eggs, and any other people food that comes off our table that he will eat.
And just in case you are worried about him passing on before his time, his daddy, Rocky lived to be 17 years old and he died in his sleep by the fire dreaming about either chasing rabbits or sniffing the breeze from the window or bed of my pick up.
My guess is Ole Blue will go the same way. So before you pass judgement on Gov Romney, pass on some actual footage of this so called journalist’s claim or keep your opinions to yourself.

MEMORY LOSS MAY SOON BE REVERSIBLE
If you can’t remember where you put your glasses or the last name of the couple that you’ve just been introduced to, be sure to remember this one word — guanfacine.
It’s the name of a drug, currently used to treat high blood pressure, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and anxiety, that might be able to reverse a major type of short-term memory loss in older people, according to a new study.
That’s right — reverse memory loss. Even if an elderly person’s ability to remember has deteriorated over 15 or 20 years, doctors may soon be able to prescribe guanfacine to restore the memory to the way it was during young adulthood.
Now, we’re not talking about memory loss due to Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia — we’re talking about the loss of working memory, which occurs in nearly everyone, sometimes starting as early as age 50 and almost certainly after the mid-60s.
I spoke with Amy Arnsten, PhD, the study’s lead researcher and a professor of neurobiology and psychology at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, to find out how this drug works.
UNLOCKING SECRETS OF MEMORY
Prior studies have shown that the faster neurons fire, the better the working memory. What Dr. Arnsten and her colleagues explored is how aging affects the firing of the neurons — and whether guanfacine might help speed up the firing.
For the study, she gathered six rhesus monkeys of three different age groups. Two were “young adults,” two were “middle-aged” and two were “aged.”
The monkeys played a game that required them to remember the locations of objects on computer screens. During the game, a tiny electrode that had been painlessly inserted into each monkey’s prefrontal cortex allowed researchers to monitor their brain function.
Compared with the young adult monkeys, the neurons in the middle-aged and aged monkeys fired more slowly.
Earlier tests done by Dr. Arnsten’s lab had shown that neurons in the prefrontal cortex of humans and other animals fire more slowly when there’s a buildup there of a substance called cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP).
So in this study, researchers injected the monkeys with guanfacine, which is known to inhibit the production of cAMP in the prefrontal cortex.
Afterward, neuron firing doubled, on average, in both the middle-aged and aged monkeys, compared with the firing speed of their neurons when they weren’t given the guanfacine injection. These results appeared in the July 27, 2011 issue of Nature.
FROM MONKEYS TO HUMANS
The question remains: Would guanfacine have the same effect on humans? Dr. Arnsten said that she and her colleagues are optimistic because the prefrontal cortex functions similarly in both species.
In fact, researchers at Yale have already begun clinical trials on the effect of guanfacine on the working memory of people age 75 or older (who don’t suffer from dementia or Alzheimer’s). Results of these tests are expected in the fall of 2012.
Meanwhile, there’s the question of whether guanfacine could or should be prescribed now, off-label, for memory loss.
Dr. Arnsten thinks that it’s too early to try this — because it hasn’t yet been proven to reduce memory loss in humans.
However, if future studies show that it’s a good idea, you can be sure that I’ll remember to tell you about it.

Romney would win David Letterman’s “Stupid Human Tricks” skit hands down. It was nice that the container was airtight, the dog could stay dry through thunder storms and carwashes while it suffocates. Don’t see much foresight or concern for his pet here.
Does anyone believe he will show any more concern for his constituants, were he to be elected? I don’t.

Dear Fellow Conservative,
My campaign’s incredibly strong second-place finish in New Hampshire has the national media stunned.
Add that to my top-tier showing in Iowa, and it’s clear I’m the one Republican candidate who can take on and DEFEAT both Mitt Romney and Barack Obama.
The race is becoming more clearly a two-man race between Mitt Romney and me.
So the question is: Do you want a Republican presidential nominee who agrees with Barack Obama on the $700 BILLION TARP debacle, stripping away our God-given Second Amendment rights, forcing Americans to buy only the health insurance government says they can carry, or ripping millions of dollars away from our families to hand over to Planned Parenthood?
Fellow Republican, as a father of 5 and a grandfather of 18 who was privileged to grow up in a strong Christian household, I’m outraged at how often Republicans have caved to Big Government politicians like Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi to wreck our economy, bankrupt our futures, and endanger our national security.
I’m simply FED UP with being told that the U.S. Constitution is outdated and no longer needs to be followed.
And I’m writing to tell you today that you and I don’t have to take it any longer.
Freedom is popular, and we can win!
The truth is, there is only one true conservative choice in this race.
You see, unlike Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, and Jon Huntsman, I won’t have to spend precious time in the general election apologizing for agreeing with the President on many of his disastrous policies!
Instead, I’ll present a clear conservative, constitutional alternative to Barack Obama.
I’ll run on my record – not away from it.
And I’ll lay out my Plan to Restore America, which:
*** CUTS $1 trillion in federal spending during the first year of my presidency without taking one penny from our seniors, our veterans, or our national defense;
*** BALANCES the federal budget in my third year;
*** ELIMINATES FIVE federal departments, including the bloated Department of Education, which Newt Gingrich voted to create, and Rick Santorum voted to dramatically expand;
*** REDUCES the federal workforce by 10%, slashes congressional pay and perks, curbs excessive federal travel, and lowers my salary as President from $400,000 to $39,336 – which is roughly equal to the median personal income of the American worker.
No other candidate has put forth such a serious proposal for real change.
No other candidate has received as much support as me from those who know we cannot afford to select Mitt Romney as our nominee.
Matter of fact, many of my opponents have struggled to get on the ballot in several states – or completely missed doing so all together.
So I urge my opponents who have been unsuccessfully trying to be the conservative alternative to Mitt Romney to unite behind my candidacy.
And I urge you to please support my campaign today with a contribution of $100, $50, $25, $10, or whatever you are able to give.
I believe my constitutional conservative credentials are unmatched.
I am:
*** 100% Pro-Life. I have introduced legislation in Congress to federally define life as beginning at conception, and as President, I will fight to repeal Roe v. Wade by passing a “Life at Conception Act.”
*** 100% Pro-Second Amendment. I’ve received a lifetime “A” rating from the NRA, and I was given the “Defender of the Second Amendment Award” by Gun Owners of America in 2011. I’ve voted against gun control – EVERY time.
*** 100% Pro-Right to Work. I have never caved to the union bosses’ pressure. I voted to defeat Big Labor’s “Card Check” scheme, and I will continue the fight I’ve led as a congressman to the White House by fighting for passage of a National Right to Work Act.
*** 100% Pro-Health Freedom. I have introduced legislation in Congress to repeal ObamaCare’s hated individual mandate. As President, I will order all federal agencies to stop enforcing any rules and regulations related to ObamaCare, and I will veto any bills that fund this unconstitutional powergrab.
While Mitt Romney receives his most contributions from Wall Street, the top three donors to my campaign by occupation are U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy.
I’ve received more support from active duty military than all my opponents combined, and my other donors are everyday grassroots Patriots like you who just want to enjoy the full blessings of freedom and pass them on to the next generation.
They know I have the bold plan to cut spending. The dedication to protecting life. The lifelong adherence to the Constitution and limited government. And the necessary support to campaign nationwide against Mitt Romney.
So, after spending just a few hours celebrating my great finish in New Hampshire with my family, I jumped right back on the campaign trail in South Carolina.
I am in this race for the long haul. And I am ready to fight.
And if you’re as outraged about the condition of this country as the thousands of other Americans I’ve met during this election, I know you’re ready to fight, too.
I believe I can ride my momentum to the Republican presidential nomination, rock the establishment, and restore prosperity to our country – but I’m going to need your help to do so.
As I’ve found out in Congress too many times, when you stand for the Constitution, you often stand alone.
That’s why I’m so grateful for the hundreds of thousands of grassroots supporters who have gotten behind my campaign.
Will you join them in taking our country back with a donation to my campaign of $100, $50, $25, $10, or whatever you can spare today?
My staff is already busy implementing an ambitious plan for South Carolina, including hard-hitting voter mail and TV ads.
In fact, I instructed them to add to our South Carolina activities after seeing my strong second-place finish in New Hampshire.
This election is just too critical for us not to give above and beyond our best effort.
But with the establishment desperately trying to derail my campaign, I must have the funds to carry out our operations while also battling back against their lies.
The great news is, my campaign is racking up one success after another in the face of unparalleled opposition.
My opponents are attacking me as hard as they can every chance they get, so your support has never been more important.
You and I don’t have to just “settle” anymore for a nominee who presents little-to-no major difference from the other Party.
You and I don’t have to hold back as our country is driven off the cliff by those who crave power and can’t control their lust for more spending.
You and I don’t have to “wait for the next election.”
My campaign is making history right now with the support of Patriots like you who are finished with being told by the liberal media and the Republican establishment to sit on the sidelines year after year.
My incredible top-tier finish in Iowa and my tremendous second-place showing in Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary demonstrate that I am the conservative alternative that can take on and defeat both Mitt Romney and Barack Obama this year.
But I need your help to continue getting my constitutional conservative message out in South Carolina, Florida, Nevada, and beyond.
Please, donate $100, $50, $25, $10, or whatever you can contribute right away to help me WIN the Republican nomination and give the American people a CLEAR alternative to Barack Obama’s disastrous Big Government, big spending administration.
For Liberty,
Ron Paul
P.S. After my top-tier finish in Iowa and my incredibly strong second place showing in New Hampshire, it’s clear I’m the one Republican candidate with the resources, volunteers, and organization to take on and DEFEAT both Mitt Romney and Barack Obama.
With your help, I’m hoping to ride this wave of momentum to the Republican presidential nomination.
But to do so, I’ve got to battle the full weight of the establishment machine while also implementing my strategy for victory in South Carolina, Florida, Nevada, and beyond.
So please, join hundreds of thousands of your fellow grassroots Patriots today in refusing to “settle” for a nominee who will have to spend all of his time apologizing for agreeing with President Obama on policies that bankrupt our country and endanger our liberties.
I urge you to stand with me by donating $100, $50, $25, $10, or whatever you are able to give so we can take this country back for the Constitution and the principles that made America great!

I tend to agree with the apparent majority that what Mitt Romney actually did was not acceptable and does reflect badly on Romney’s fitness for public office.
However, I have to empathize with the dog, and the dog would find a lot of the dog lovers here to be as silly as I do.
Comfort? Your own car top carrier compared to sharing the car interior with Mitt and his cooped up kids? I think the dog would have preferred the carrier, given the choice.
Now, failing to feed, water, and walk the dog every one to two hours – that was inexcusably poor judgment. Safety?
I think the dog was safer in the carrier than the dog would have been inside the car, and probably was safer outside than the children were, inside.
Yes, the dog would have been even more safe and more comfortable in a kennel. But then the dog would have missed his vacation, which I’d bet was more fun for him than the kids’ trip.
If the dog could know that you were standing between him and his chance to take that trip, he’d probably bite you.But it is real cruelty to an animal to deny it freedom to exercise for 12 hours, or to deny it access to water for even far less time.
Mitt should be deeply ashamed. But I applaud Mitt’s good sense in opposing the evil and useless science behind embryonic stem cell research.
All the great cures wrought by stem cell research so far have come from the “good twin” which is adult stem cell research.
For reasons well known by the science and medical communities, embryonic stem cell research is not likely ever to lead directly to a cure for any disease.
It is unethical to the extent that Dr. Mengele or Dr. Kevorkian were unethical, to destroy human embryos in the conduct of scientific research, even if it were likely to be useful – which it is not.
The facts on stem cell research draw one inescapably to the conclusion that embryonic stem cell research should be banned at least until research with animal subjects provides evidence that something useful could result.
January 12th, 2012 at 2:59 pm
Nice try JB. First you try to sidle up to us with your pretense to see the dog’s side.
Then you immediately go about trying to convince us that it really wasn’t that bad for the dog. Towards the end you had us believing that the dog not only preferred to ride up on the roof but that he would have bitten us for depriving him of the experience.
It was about in there I wanted to strap you to the top of my suv and take you for a 60 mph ride for 10 or 12 miles and then turn around and bring you back.
After listening to you I sure you would have loved it.
And Walla your real purpose emerged. To pitch Romney for his opposition to the evil and useless science behind embryonic stem cell research.” Screw the animal, here’s a man who is for something you are interested in.
Didn’t we hear about your type yesterday. You know the ones who care less if the candidate is terrible to every body and every thing else as long as he is good for your causes or pocketbook.
You are worst than the Romneys because without narcissistic slime like you, they couldn’t continue to profit at our expense.
Michelle for this creep’s opening lie of “I tend to agree with the apparent majority” I nominate him for your LSOS Club.
January 12th, 2012 at 3:06 pm
What I want to know is what kind of idiot thinks thats Romney was thinking with a clear head and objectively?
Dispassionately, yes, but if he was thinking objectively, he would have passed on the strapping of the dog to the roof.
I also disagree with the pickup scenario. The cab of pickup trucks creates a zone in the bed that is quite turbulence-free.
Having ridden my self in the back of pickups before it became illegal in California, I can say it is NOT unpleasant.
The back seat of a station wagon with the windows down is more unpleasant than the bed of a pickup.
Anyway you look at this though, thank goodness this guy re-exposed, hopefully enough people will see through the smoke screens others try to lay for him and he will be regulated forever, into obscurity.
January 12th, 2012 at 3:10 pm
Enough with the bull shit excuses. Even from you people who say ABO. You can’t seriously believe this unapologetic animal abuser is qualified to be president of the USA.
You are taking racism to Nazi lows here. I’m against Obama but I would stay home rather that vote for this excuse for a human being.
I have a family with two cats and a dog. I couldn’t look my family in the face if I voted for this sorry “I like to fire people” thing.

January 12th, 2012 at 3:14 pm
The least I can say, is Mitt Romney couldn’t afford to put his pet in a kennel while he went on vacation? I hardly think so.
It’s hardly about him being a Presidential candidate, it speaks alot about him as a person. I could fathom seeing this man in a crate on top of a vehicle going at the same speed , only to stop once in twelve hours to hose him down.
Did the entire family stop during those 12 hours to eat, use the restroom or have a drink. Animals are human, they have the same feelings we do, such as hunger, thirst and love.
And even though he was used unkindly, he probably still loved Mr Romney at the end of the trip. I’m assuming the dog had to travel like this both ways.
It never ceases to amaze me to hear the comments from people who don’t feel that it was a big deal. Are we to believe they think the same way as this man?
Because it happened 25 years ago, doesn’t mean Mitt hasn’t changed his beliefs and would probably do it again if it fit his situation.
He wasn’t a child when he did this, he was a man with a wife and children, an adult making this type of decision.
I don’t think I’d feel very comfortable having this man make decisions for our country.
January 12th, 2012 at 3:20 pm
Personally, I don’t much care about this. It was too long ago for crying out loud.
The dog is long dead, and I doubt very much that Romney would do something like this today. Get over it — it’s ancient history!
January 12th, 2012 at 3:20 pm
Wow! Michelle, That’s digging pretty deep for some dirt on this candidate.
January 12th, 2012 at 3:22 pm
Wow… You know I wasn’t quite sure what candidate I was going to offer my support to, however now that I see this is the worst thing they can dig up on a running Presidential Candidate…
then I guess he is the right one for President – what no drugs?
No affairs? No inhaling? No communism? No rumors of killing people off? No secret Yale societies?
I suppose he is the right one for the job then, since we haven’t a Presidential Candidate or President that could offer such a benign past in the last century! However you see it, I see now that he is a man for the People – but maybe he should not be president of the Humane Society.
I am an animal advocate, in review of what he did; it seems in fairness he tried to make the dog comfortable in a hard situation, and I must say a dog in the back of a pickup is less humane then what Mr. Romney offered his canine.
Come on People this is a ridiculous dirt dig! As for religion, are we so backward of a country that people cannot be elected simply because of their religion?
Freedom religion or lack of religion is one of this countries deep core standing rights. Massachusetts is a liberal state and he served them well without allowing his religious beliefs to overtake his political service.
As for me, I really don’t know who I will offer my support to… I am still in limbo on my opinion. But one thing for certain, this man doesn’t have scandal in his closet – this was made obvious by this ridiculous story.
January 12th, 2012 at 3:46 pm
Of, course you knew who you were going to support as your candidate JL.You knew way before you sat down and composed that snide attempt to convert others to support mitt Romney despite his callous behavior to his own pet.
For that bold face lie I nominate you to this blog’s LSOS Club. Too bad you lying sack of shits are too ashamed to use a full first name.
So the neighbor’s kid doesn’t have a record of doing anything wrong. He doesn’t do drugs or anything else you would consider wrong, but you do know that he is willing to torture his family pet ———– So what do you do?
That’s right you allow him to play with your children. LIAR!!!! You would move before you would allow that animal torturing kid to influence your children.
Yet, for your own personal gain you would advocate a man like that to be elected president of the US.
The question comes to mind whose sicker you or Romney?
Then you abandon your christian religion(not that it matters since you obviously don’t mind a little animal torture) to argue that we should not support a man in a cult.
Hey, a little dog torturing, a little polygamy, involving minors perhaps, oh that’s okay a tiny penis wonder like you probably can only hope to satisfy a minor.
Michelle if that first lie didn’t get him in, how about this lame attempt at coming off impartial – “As for me, I really don’t know who I will offer my support to… I am still in limbo on my opinion.”
LIAR!!! If this guy is not a Lying Sack of Shit, who is? What a Pathetic attempt at coming off neutral.
Which leaves us certain of your opinion. …”one thing for certain, this man doesn’t have scandal in his closet – this was made obvious by this ridiculous story.”
You, go ahead and vote for him. You probably voted for bush. Has it ever occurred to you though that only an idiot would strap a dog in a cage and put him on the roof of his car.
Why am I asking you this? I’m sure you have a self satisfying answer to that question also.
Cynthia
January 12th, 2012 at 3:47 pm
I’m not sure if anyone has made this observation yet, but I see another disturbing parallel in his personal life.
Not only did Mitt show a disregard for the welfare of his pooch, he’s also anti stem cell research–more of which would undoubtedly help unlock the mysteries of multiple sclerosis, the disease that afflicts his wife Anne.
This is a guy that lacks compassion and empathy–a robot with good hair.
January 12th, 2012 at 3:50 pm
Everyone who says something like “get a life” or “it happened 20+ years ago – who cares” needs to think about this incident a little differently.
What if you found out your neighbor had done the same thing – would you stop being friends with them? Perhaps yes, perhaps no.
But even if you remained friends with your neighbor, wouldn’t you at least have some doubts about what kind of person he/she is? Add this to the pandering/opportunistic flip-flopping and you’ve got a Presidential candidate who just checked out of the race.
Just ask Howard Dean, who got a little excited at a rally and woke up the next day asking “where’d everyone go?”
January 12th, 2012 at 3:50 pm
What an idiot! Politics aside… common sense tells you that you don’t put a dog on the roof of your car. Period.
I have a feeling he won’t make good decisions and I’m sure as heck not voting for him.
January 12th, 2012 at 3:54 pm
Actually, I find the story at last somewhat interesting – since it provides some (admittedly negative) insight into the candidates values.
The litmus test: if there were a story about Romney’s exceptional compassion demonstrated to an animal 20 years ago – would those who object to this story feel that it too was equally irrelevant?I think not.
Given that the US finds itself in a defensive posture on the international diplomacy stage, and that we are perceived to embrace and evangelize a rather unbalanced, arbitrary and inhumane world view of human suffering through our strained foreign policy priorities – evidence of strained / damaged humanitarian values in a presidential candidate IS relevant to me.
January 12th, 2012 at 3:56 pm
Oh puhleeze! This happened 24 years ago! I am sure that Mr. Romney has had plenty of time to realize his mistake.
How many of us have made similar misjudgements of safety, years ago when we didn’t know better? I know I have.
This happened back in the day when it was still acceptable (barely and depending where you lived) to leave your baby unattended in a car. For pity’s sake ! Drop it!
January 12th, 2012 at 4:10 pm
Oh puhleeze! AW, this was not a simple misjudgment. He was not a child he was an adult with a family of his own.
When we went on vacation 20 yrs ago, we paid for our dog to stay at a dog kennel.I’m sure Mr. Romney could have afforded the same.
Did you read the article or listen to the man? He didn’t offer an apology. He made a joke about it. He was more concerned about whether what he did was illegal.
You apologists have no limits. Is there nothing you will not forgive the candidate of you choice as long as he supports your party line?
Ir might have been legal to leave your baby unattended in your car then, but we know that in his state it was illegal to strap a dog in a cage and put him on the roof of his car.
Interesting you chose the word “pity” when the man you are asking it for didn’t show any for his family pet and still doesn’t according to his interview.
What kind of an idiot thinks that it is okay to travel down the highway with a dog in a cage on the top of his car at 60 plus miles an hour.
Must have been terrifying for the dog, I can understand why he shit all over the back of the car. And, I am still waiting for you excuse for why he just hosed the car and dog down and continued on his way.
Wanna bet it was a little colder for the dog traveling at 60 plus MPH with a wet coat of hair? But that’s okay with you because you weren’t in that cage.
Roger
January 12th, 2012 at 4:11 pm
This is sickening, but you’ve got to admit it’s the funniest stupid thing a politician has done for a while.
Forget Chevy Chase, Romney is the real life parody of Homer Simpson!
Only Homer would strap his dog on the roof of his car for a long distance trip and not think twice about it.
January 12th, 2012 at 4:13 pm
While this is not news is any spectacular fashion, if a man can strap a dog carrier to the top of his car, with a dog in it; can you imagine what else that man is capable of?
It doesn’t matter that it was more than 20 yrs. ago or not. This says alot about a man’s character.
January 12th, 2012 at 4:15 pm
Ok. Romney will get my vote if he volunteers to be put in a cage (with a makeshift windshield of course) then put on top of a car and be driven around for 12 hours. Just to be fair to what the dog went through,
Half way through the drive, they should stop, hose Romney down and put him on back of the car, because this is exactly what happened to the dog after he made a mess because good ole boy MItt didn’t give the dog enough bathroom breaks.
Romney and his supporters are afraid of looking like sociopaths who have no capacity to have empathy for other living and breathing beings.
Unfortunately, to be a Republican today, lack of capacity to feel empathy is a quality you must embrace.
January 12th, 2012 at 4:17 pm
Good God… people actually DO READ and BELIEVE gossip! It is disgusting that the original question about whether a man has abused the family pet had degraded to such responses! I rest my case!
January 12th, 2012 at 4:23 pm
It never ceases to amaze me how people can take a single (old) report of animal cruelty, and turn it into a political statement against a mainstream presidential election political party contender-to-be.
People… you really need to get a life! I have seen more animal abuse in my 55 years on this planet than I care to ever recount, so this OLD news doesn’t impress me….
It is… What it is! There are millions of non-caring pet owners like this in this country now, as well as 20 years ago.
The only thing that’s really changed is the plethora of you political want-to-bes using this story to further your cause. I’m still not impressed!
I agree in principle with those of you that say “If he is this callous to a defenseless family pet, he has no business being the leader of the most giving and powerful county in the WORLD (generalized from the comments I read)”, but that’s where we part company!
This is one very dangerous world we live in, and if you do not subscribe to the radical Islam rhetoric, which excludes a good majority of us Americans, you are very much at risk in a major city or when you travel (London and Scotland this weekend as a case in point).
The guy may be a past, or even present-tense, jerk when it comes to caring for family pets, but that has NO bearing on his ability to lead this country… I haven’t heard enough from him yet, to make a personal decision on that…. have you?
For those of you with unfounded opinions and political agendas… just be quiet! For those of you looking to learn more about the man… keep learning and formulating Genuine informed opinions!….
For the rest of you that just like to make noise on a public blog….JUST SHUT UP and give the man his due!
I personally probably won’t vote for him based upon what I’ve seen, so far, but that is based upon my being willing to listen to ALL of the potential candidates, and we have a lot of rhetoric to go before I’m willing to back ANYONE at this point!
January 12th, 2012 at 5:05 pm
Hey, I have an idea, if it’s so F’in cool to ride in a ‘airtight’ carrier on the ROOF of the car why don’t we strap Mitt in and take him for a day long ride? This is so mean and brainless, I’m having a hard time even believing someone could be this moronic. – ZL
January 12th, 2012 at 6:52 pm
DF:
Let me get this straight. What amazes you is the age of this story not what it might imply about the character of the person.
I think about now I should be asking you if that DF stands for Dumb Founded or Dumb FucK?
This is not a story about how much animal abuse a person has seen. It is a story about a person who committed an act that abused an animal.
Your reply is. “It is what it is.” There are millions of non caring pet owners. Yes, there are also millions of rapists, child abusers, and other assorted miscreants, but that doesn’t mean I would want one to be the President of my country.
The question seems to be what would it take to impress a dumb fuck like you? I’m not sure anyone cares.
You say you agree with us that if a person is this callous he has no business being the leader of the most powerful country in the world. But in the same breath you say “but that’s were we part company.”
Something like I agree that everyone should pay their fair share, but that’s were we part company.
I agree with you that OTWs and women should be treated equal to white men but that’s were we part company.
You are parroting Mr Romney when he says I agree with but that’s were we part company. That is just another way to use double speak when you are really saying I don’t agree with you but I am not honest enough to admit it.
Which is why you can accept a person this cruel to an animal being the president of the most powerful country in the world.
But I’d wager that you couldn’t accept it if he didn’t have a birth certificate that said he was born in this country. Now that’s an old story that would have merit for you.
If that bit of twisted logic and double speak didn’t convince me that you were a republican pretending to be looking at this situation unbiasedly, then the employment of the standard scare tactic would, rapped in the I could be an islamic loving un-American accusation if I still refused to see your logic.
So now I’m supposed to accept an animal abuser as my leader because I could be harmed by a terrorist. Has it occurred to you that to that dog Mitt was the terrorist?
Has it occurred to you that I may have more to worry about a cold hearted idiot like mitt governing my country EVERY DAY than a possible encounter with a terrorist one day or the other?
It seems that you are a waffler like mitt because at fist you agreed that his behavior meant he had no business being our leader now you say that since the world is a dangerous place we have no choice but to accept an animal abuser as our leader.
Are we supposed to be so frightened that we don’t stop to consider that with 350 million options in America we can not find a qualified person to lead my country who is NOT an animal abuser?
Are we supposed to be so frightened that we don’t stop to consider that if the person is too idiotic to discover a better way to transport a family pet 12 miles, he may just be too idiotic to discover a way to protect us from those terrorists that you are terrifying me with?
That would mean a repeat of bush. The president that was too idiotic to take the exiting president’s advice to look out for terrorists attempting to commandeer commercial jets to fly into commercial buildings.
So idiotic that he didn’t order an investigation of islamic men(you are so terrified of) who were taking flying lessons in commercial aircraft but not lessons in landing or taking off in one.
So idiotic that when told of he attack that he froze like a deer caught in the headlights of an oncoming vehicle.
Since only a dumb fuck would have missed that point, do you think that me mentioning that fact would help you decide if that kind of ignorance would have “bearing on his ability to lead this country?”
I would like an answer to that question. Would the fact that this candidate was too idiotic to discover a better way to transport a family pet indicate a lack of critical thinking?
Bear in mind that he was not under any pressure from terrorist or the potential of terrorist action of the catastrophe proportions you are attempting to scare us with when he was attempting to solve that pet transporting problem.
Using your criteria that might be enough to remove him from the contenders so that I could now start to evaluate other more qualified applicants.
Since that would be a founded opinion based on his thought processes, I take it I will not have to shut up at this time as you suggested to those using “unfounded opinions and political agendas.”
Unless what you really meant by that paragraph is I should learn more about the man from those who support the man and only then would I be formulating “Genuine informed opinions?”
Of course that would mean you have a political agenda. If so, why not just be honest and tell me to tune in to the Fox News Network for all my “Genuine informed opinions” and only Fox.
If not then I should “JUST SHUT UP and give the man his due.” What if I think like Zen Lii?
That he is due a cool ride in an ‘airtight’ carrier on the ROOF of that car”? Will you be with me on that?
I won’t bother to analyze your last paragraph because about now most of us that could immediately see the idiotic reasoning that would tell a person it made sense to strap a dog to the top of a vehicle and head down the freeway at 60 plus mile and hour also recognize a lie when they see one from that paragraph.
You are a not to well disguised mitt supporter. Hey, at least you tried and for that lame attempt you get to be nominated for Michelle’s LSOS Club.
Please Michelle allow me to nominate this LSOS for the Club.

OK. True this may have been poor judgement, but please. This happened almost 30 years ago and it’s not even juicy.
Is this the best they could come up with when trying to dig up dirt? And of course, as usual, Michelle had to repeat it.
Ridiculous. Can we please for once judge our politicians on real issues and current events?
January 12th, 2012 at 7:12 pm
Hello Michelle, I am in Israel. Who are these people writing in to support this man’s brainless and cruel decision to strap his pet to the roof of his car?
Don’t they know that the world reads your blog? They are telling us they are not capable of electing a person who would command the respect of the peoples and leaders of the other countries of the world.
Their “so what he was cruel to an animal” attitude is sickening and telling of their on mentality.
Hadas
January 12th, 2012 at 7:15 pm
So IK what would it take for it to be “juicy”? Would the dog have to have died?
What issues would you accept as issues to judge a candidate on? And please tell us what you would consider timely?
John
January 12th, 2012 at 7:20 pm
This moronic story just goes to show how biased and desperate Michelle is to come up with something to discredit Romney.
Since she can’t find anything like Obama’s drug use or his lack of a genuine birth certificate, she digs up old tired stories.
Come on guys–grow up already. This story shouldn’t have ever gotten the time of day. Don’t waste my time reading such stupid non-news.
In a strange way, this story kind of back-fires and makes me like Romney–if this is all they have on the guy, he must be pretty squeaky clean.
Mark
January 12th, 2012 at 7:28 pm
Mark you are right about one thing nothing sticks to Mitt because he can’t stick to an opinion long enough. He changes with the political winds.
One never really knows what he stands for. Wanna bet this “moronic Story” would have meant something if it had been Obama who tied his dog to the roof of a car.
And as Robert and Alycedale have pointed out why are all you republicans writing in pretending to be independent and having no political opinion but suddenly discovering that – Hey “if this is all they have on the guy, he must be pretty squeaky clean.”
Did someone give you that as the talking point and tell you to write in and close with that after you say how undecided you were before you read the non-article?

Ditto Zen Lill.
Put him on the roof of car and see how he likes it.

This is an example of terrible judgement. We don’t need another President with bad judgement.

This incident is a metaphor for what Romney did to the State of Massachusetts.
Like that dog, we were strapped to the roof of Romney’s presidential ambitions and taken for a ride without regard to what happened to us.
If we fell off the roof, then so what. In Massachusetts, school districts are making massive personnel cuts, shortening the school week, and cutting sports.
It happened because Romney underfunded the schools by failing to come to the aid of property tax payers unable to keep up with increases costs in the schools in order to say that he didn’t raise taxes.
While the schools in Massachusetts were headed for trouble, he was off in other states laying the groundwork for the next aquisition for his ego.
Unlike the dog, we were blown off the roof and are now attempting to pick up the pieces at the side of the road.

Dogs hate carriers, but cage trained ones will rarely soil their environment unless stressed.
The story is shocking and this is news, because a man of good conscience (and a loyal dog) will always recognize a cur in their midst and call him out.
Romney is a cur. Look it up.

In a telephone interview, Gillan told PNC News that the Governor’s Chief of Staff, Frank Arriola, asked Public Health to do the inspection of the school today based on the walk-through that was conducted last week. The inspection began at 2 Thursday afternoon.
“They are less than half-way through the inspection,” said Gillan “and already they have already issued 36 demerits. It takes 40 to close the school and my people said they will find that before they’re done.”
In all, 50 demerits were found.

Among the issues cited said Gillan was backed up sewage, leaky roofs, base-board damage, broken furniture and holes in the flooring. “We have no opinions on the structural integrity,” said Gillan. “We’re not engineers.”
“No one told me they were up there,” said Acting Superintendent Taling Taitano. “I am having my Maintenance Manager and my Deputy go up there.”
She said that Public Health has the authority to close the school, but she still wants her people to verify the demerits.
When asked whether she was upset by the sudden plans to close the school, Taitano said “I’m a little concerned, in speaking with the Governor’s office about the transition to Tiyan. Obviously Tiyan is not going to be ready tomorrow.”

Com’on Guam get your shit together. Get out of the sex lives of the women and fix the schools for the children that are here.
You spend so much time attempting to force women to have babies against their will and when you do, you don’t bother to help those kids make it.
What’s wrong with that picture assholes?

I could never quite put my finger on it but this is apparently what I have been seeing in Romney each time I hear/see him speak.
First impressions are lasting impressions. There is something not quite “genuine” about him when it comes to compassion, ethics, and his honesty about his compassion & ethics.
As a pet owner, I think this incident brings into question his intellect as well.

That was posted 4 years ago and nothings changed about Romney. The powers that be are offering him up again. He is still their man.
Unfeeling, obedient, and anxious to find solutions that please his masters regardless of the consequences to us “dogs.”

Michelle, I left Deir al-Zour because of the killing. We are on our way to Turkey. I have learned that the russians have been sneaking arms into Syria.
Assad is paying directly into the suppliers pockets for his arms. Maybe you can ask Madaline to do something.
The russian ship, Chariot, brought much guns and ammo to Assad.

So, Romney was the Governor of Mass. In MA there is a law prohibiting the placing of pets on the roof of one’s car. Simple. And, he has admitted to doing this many times with his dog, because, he says of the space and he says the dog liked it. Ok, really? So there was liquid feces streaming down the back of his car from his dog’s reaction to being in the crate on the roof of his car, either in total shock or simply attempting to breathe, if it was actually airtight… Romney, hoses off the dog and his car, and puts the shocked dog back on the roof…illegally. The governor of MA claims to have not known of the law about pets on the roof of the car…He also claims he fired the company who had illegal immigrants mowing the lawn to his home, albeit he says to the company that he is running for office and can’t have illegals working for him…so if he wasn’t running for office?
I wonder what it is like to live one’s life in a TOTAL contradiction? It must be hard to keep track of reality?
His job at Bain was to streamline co. This is the art of private equity groups. It is not that the business model is to rip companies apart and fire everyone just to make a profit. If there is more profit in turning the company around before selling it, then this is what the equity group will do. The actions to the companies they acquire are done solely for the profit of the stockholders and investors of the equity group. This is what Willard fails to educate the public to. His newest response is that the people in reaction to his Bain history are envious. So, as President, would his response to those third world countries that are protesting and in reaction to US actions simply envious to wanting to be just like the US? And there are those people who would quickly answer “yes” to that, the arrogance astounds me.
