Wonderful Women Of The World
Posted by Michelle Moquin on April 7th, 2012
Good morning!
This was e-mailed to me. I love it. I have no idea who the writer is, the woman who is holding it, or whether the woman pictured is the actual writer. I just know that I love it. And I love it so much that I just had to reprint the words below the picture to stress her wonderful words.
I AM A WOMAN
And NO MAN, NO GROUP OF MEN, AND NO INSTITUTION
holds dominion over me, my mind, my body, my life, my choices, my vagina, or my uterus
If you attempt to restrict my access – or my sisters’ access to health care of contraception,
WE WILL FIGHT YOU
AND
WE WILL WIN
Do not fool yourselves for ONE MOMENT that you have the right to speak
for women, their choices, their thoughts, or their lives ANY MORE.
Your attempts to own is, to harm us, to control us, to dictate policy to us,
to impose your will over us – IS AT AN END.
You look scared, and I can smell your fear. And you should be afraid.
Cause we aren’t going to take your shit anymore.
We know how to direct 80% of the buying power and we know how to vote.
The age of the old, crooked, white men is over. Consider this the death knell.
Deep down you know it. And we know it, too.
Oh, and one more thing… deprive us of access
and we will deprive YOU of access.
If you take my meaning.
WE ARE THE MAJORITY.
WE ARE THE 52%
*****
Readers: I could not have said it any better. To the woman who wrote this, who is definitely a Wonderful Woman Of The World, whoever she is, where ever she is: Thank you!
I think it is a powerful pledge to live by. Are you girls with me? Blog me.
Peace, Love & Girl Power.
Lastly, greed over a great story is surfacing from my “loyal”(?) readers. With all this back and forth about who owns what, that appears on my blog, let me reiterate that all material posted on my blog becomes the sole property of my blog. If you want to reserve any proprietary rights don’t post it to my blog. I will prominently display this caveat on my blog from now on to remind those who may have forgotten this notice.

Dealing with Braggarts
Editor’s note: Welcome to our multipart series on how to deal with all sorts of annoying people. For Part 1 on how to deal with a loudmouth, click here. For Part 2 on how to deal with tardy people, click here. And look for Part 4 next month.
We all have that one friend or relative—the one who “casually” references the big raise he got again and again. Or the one who won an iPad in a raffle and now can’t stop showing it to you as if it’s the Hope diamond. Or the one who always finds a way to mention in conversation how he runs a marathon every year.
Whether these people worked hard for their successes or just got lucky, their bragging is annoying either way. In addition to being irritating to listen to, braggarts can make you feel inadequate. It makes you want to cover your ears and say, “I get it! You’re special, and I’m not!”
So, short of insulting and/or avoiding these people, how can we stop them from getting under our skin? For ideas on that, I called life coach and frequent Daily Health News contributor Lauren Zander, who said that when dealing with a braggart, there are two different approaches that can work very well…
Reframe the situation in your mind. Be aware that even though your friend’s bragging may annoy you and sometimes make you feel bad about yourself, this result may not be intentional.
Your friend may be so insecure that he is overcompensating for other areas in his life where he thinks he does not measure up. If the bragging happens only occasionally, try to simply smile and accept that you are important enough to this person that he has a need to impress you.
Take it as a compliment—and then change the subject to something that does not involve whatever your friend is bragging about.
Speak up. If the bragging is more frequent or if you feel like you’re going to explode the next time your friend brags, then confront him.
Your goal is to alert the other person that he is bragging so that he realizes that he is doing it and to let him know that it annoys you and (possibly) makes you feel bad about yourself.
So the next time the bragging starts, try saying, “When you name drop about all those rich people you hang out with, it makes me feel as if you like those people more than you like me” or, “When you talk about how many races you’ve won, it just reminds me how I haven’t been to the gym in weeks.”
You might find that he is surprised and apologetic, because nobody wants to sound like a braggart.

Did anyone hear about the torture memo:
—————–
A six-year-old memo from within the George W. Bush administration that came to light this week acknowledges that White House-approved interrogation techniques amounted to “war crimes.”
The Bush White House tried to destroy every copy of the memo, written by then-State Department counselor Philip Zelikow. Zelikow examined tactics like waterboarding — which simulates drowning — and concluded that there was no way they were legal, domestically or internationally.
“We are unaware of any precedent in World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, or any subsequent conflict for authorized, systematic interrogation practices similar to those in question here,” Zelikow wrote. The memo has been obtained by George Washington University’s National Security Archive and Wired’s Spencer Ackerman.
====================
It seems that there will be some pressure on Obama to try some members of the Bush administration for war crimes.

This is the white man’s side of dealing with niggers.
——————————————-
Popular conservative columnist and National Review writer John Derbyshire topped all of his previous racist screeds (and sexist rants) today by posting a long breakdown of all of the important lessons he has taught his children about race — and he’s outdone his own racism with this one.
Derbyshire wrote the column in the second person, as a list of lessons to his kids about race. The lessons are his response to “the talk” that black parents have with their children — conversations they are forced to have because of real, persistent racism.
After spending a few minutes bemoaning that he can’t say a racist slur (“What you must call ‘the ‘N’ word’ is used freely among blacks but is taboo to nonblacks”) and opining on the hostility he believes all black people feel toward white people like himself (though he says he isn’t white before calling himself white several times), he cuts to the heart of his lessons for his children:
(10a) Avoid concentrations of blacks not all known to you personally.
(10b) Stay out of heavily black neighborhoods.
(10c) If planning a trip to a beach or amusement park at some date, find out whether it is likely to be swamped with blacks on that date (neglect of that one got me the closest I have ever gotten to death by gunshot).
(10d) Do not attend events likely to draw a lot of blacks.
(10e) If you are at some public event at which the number of blacks suddenly swells, leave as quickly as possible.
(10f) Do not settle in a district or municipality run by black politicians.
(10g) Before voting for a black politician, scrutinize his/her character much more carefully than you would a white.
(10h) Do not act the Good Samaritan to blacks in apparent distress, e.g., on the highway.
(10i) If accosted by a strange black in the street, smile and say something polite but keep moving.
(11) The mean intelligence of blacks is much lower than for whites. The least intelligent ten percent of whites have IQs below 81; forty percent of blacks have IQs that low.
Only one black in six is more intelligent than the average white; five whites out of six are more intelligent than the average black.
These differences show in every test of general cognitive ability that anyone, of any race or nationality, has yet been able to devise. They are reflected in countless everyday situations. “Life is an IQ test.”
While they are not included in the quote above, Derbyshire peppers the post with links to news stories of crimes, a few random videos, and his own columns.
The only “fact” included in the entire piece (and just a small image, at that) is from the offensive book The Bell Curve. Every other hateful, racist claim is based on a one-off story or his own foregone conclusions.
UPDATE
ThinkProgress reached out to Derbyshire to verify that the column was not meant to be satire. “I’d call it ‘social commentary,’” he said.

Kudos to John Derbyshire

The techniques employed by the Bush administration post 9/11 may or may not have been torture, depending upon who you ask.
In my opinion they did not amount to torture but rather enhanced interrogation. All of that aside, they are no worse than the crimes being committed by obama upon this country.

Under W, the GOP spent money like drunken sailors.
Do you remember any of them ever mentioning the deficit or smaller government???
We added Homeland Security and all the staff.
Not one peep.
After all, Dick Cheney said “Reagan proved deficits don’t matter”.
The GOP had no idea how much the wars even cost. It was a low-ended guess.
Until the president is a democrat – THEN all that matters is the deficit.

Just another rightwing nut saying racist things.
April 7th, 2012 at 12:42 pm
Between Trayvon’s murder, this article and what happened to day in Tulsa, a pattern of naked, aggressive racism is beginning to emerge as a talking of this year’s Republican Party. Let’s see if Fox News finds a way to blame the victims of the Tulsa shootings for their own deaths.
April 7th, 2012 at 12:43 pm
Too bad for Trayvon Martin that his parents didn’t teach him these rules with the word “white” substituted for “black.”
If they and he had been racist enough to stay out of predominantly white neighborhoods in accordance with 10b, he would still be alive.
April 7th, 2012 at 12:46 pm
I am happy that I don’t have to have that kind of talk with my children. I grieve for the black mothers who have to have it for their children. I am from the South and I know it to be true.
I have heard my brothers speak evil of black people in general at every opportunity. I have often heard my parents wish for the days when n####rs knew their place.
I have seen the jars with human parts in them proudly displayed for some visitors. It is a shame.
I hope Trayvon finds justice. But I doubt it.

Here’s to ya’, National Review.
April 7th, 2012 at 1:17 pm
I never heard of John Derbyshire until today on this blog. I wish it had stayed that way.
April 7th, 2012 at 1:19 pm
You should read his material. You might learn something, and you have a lot to learn.
April 7th, 2012 at 1:26 pm
I see a lot of people on this thread saying John Derbyshire is “racist.” I don’t see a lot of people actually refuting the points that he made. Hmmm…..
April 7th, 2012 at 1:29 pm
However you might feel about it, his observations are unfortunately spot on in most cases.
Not liking a thing and wishing the world were different don’t change the fact that in a predominantly black neighborhood/gathering, you’d better hope, if you are white, someone doesn’t decide to not like you, because you will be on your own and you will get mobbed.
Now before you go saying I’m racist, observe the behavior patterns of your cadre of friends, and tell me truthfully they aren’t the same. Those who are different from us are given much shorter shrift.
April 7th, 2012 at 1:30 pm
Everything he suggest is appropriate. I’ve lived in areas where if I went into the hood, I was threatened. A few instances the only way I got out was to show I was carrying.
And I was working when these situations were experienced. I’ll stay away and they should stay away. That is the way they like it.
April 7th, 2012 at 2:05 pm
It is interesting how the whites making these accusations about how scared they are of mobs of black people are trying to make this about Black people being more racist than white people.
These racists are attempting to justify their use of violence or the carrying of guns with their supposedly justified fear of Black racism.
I have a black boyfriend and I have been too tons of mixed events over the past 12 years. Sure there have been some fights but most of the time they were started by some a-hole white boy thinking he had better odds.
Black people aren’t saints but they don’t think they are better than you because of the color of their skins.
Making up statics to make you feel better because you are white is what the Nazis did but if I remember my history Jessie Owens proved that to be a lie.
Considering that our race in America has had access to all the best books and schools over OTWs and white women, I wouldn’t be too secure in bragging what you have done with it.
A casual look at what the first non white male holding the office of President has done in less than 4 years compared to what most of the other 43 have done with 8 may give thinking mind pause to accept your claims of white intellectual superiority simply because of the color of their skins.
Just saying
Claire
Well I guess some on this site will try and make this about Black people being mor racist than White people. It amazes me that some people will justify their ignorance with the attempt to belittle others. This individual is a sad person who has very low self-esteem. He needs to seek some help.
April 7th, 2012 at 2:05 pm
I can think of a few countries that would rather see a black American President than a white one. Something to do with trust I’m told.

Candidate Obama told the debaters he would pursue OBL into Pakistan on actionable intelligence.
Candidate McCain said “You are naive, my friend”.
Upon receiving their orders from President Obama, a loyal and well-trained team of special operatives executed a mission and neutralized the target.
President Obama kept a promise, made a possible career ending decision, inspired confidence, trust and loyalty. No leaks, no mistakes, no insubordination.
W couldn’t have done it, because he had 8 years, and never even tried.

I would love to meet that mental whiz Robert,Rt. He said a mouthful when he accused the females of my race of being stupid. I know that he wasn’t referring to everyone (Al).
He was referring to the majority of course because that’s what it takes to keep creeps like Wisconsin governor Scott Walker in office. He didn’t use mirrors to get there. We white women put him there.
So now he and his republican legislature has repealed Wisconsin’s Equal Pay Law. Women of intelligence and heart, you are free to cut off your Republican boyfriends and husbands any time.
Oh, you really don’t want things to change, do you? Well then.
Sabrina
April 8th, 2012 at 9:39 am
F**k you Sabrina. I follow my own conscious and I choose to support the republican party. We need to take our country back. Has anyone asked What was Scott Walker’s side of the story?
All I’m hearing is Just another one sided harangue by niggers and nigger lovers. Most white women vote for white men for a reason. They are bette qualified to lead this country because they are the Fathers of this country.
Mary, a VERY proud WHITE woman.
April 8th, 2012 at 9:39 am
Scott Walker knows that he will be repealed and voted out of office
so he is doing as much damage as he can do to get on the Koch Brothers
gravy train.
This is an outrage and we need to be on high alert to stop these Republican
Governors from striping every State of their Constitutional Rights.
We need to help Michigan as well because the City Manager is taking them
back to the Dark Ages.
2012 will be a referendum of Republicans and we will make it count.
April 8th, 2012 at 9:42 am
I agree with Mary. We need to take a breath and let the Governor explain his position. Some of the businesses affected by the punitive damages clause in the 2009 law are owned by women and minorities.
This law only removes the punitive damages, not the back pay, costs, or attorney fees. People who feel they have been discriminated against can still sue to get what they’ve earned back, they just don’t get to win an automatic lottery.
April 8th, 2012 at 9:43 am
This weasel, a wholly owned subsidiary of Koch Industries, has got to go! He completely fits the definition of fascism: government controlled by business.
Come on Wisconsin – vote the SOB out before he and his buddies in Wisconsin’s legislature completely outlaw everything having to do with women and minorities.
April 8th, 2012 at 9:44 am
Proud white women will vote for Scott Walker.
April 8th, 2012 at 9:45 am
Stacy, What exactly are men afraid women would be like if they got paid the same? Fatherless children could use a leg up.
April 8th, 2012 at 9:47 am
They already take 17% of a mans gross earnings for child support that is non taxable for the woman! Oh wait there’s your 25%
April 8th, 2012 at 9:48 am
Scott Walker should be president. Way to go. Finally a human being standing up to union thuggery and frivilous lawsuits.
Lawyers and government unions are the backbone of the democratic party and the two forces breaking the back of us hard-working, tax- paying Americans.
See how much the government can give me? I don’t care what race or gender you are, quit with the handouts, I’m tired of paying for them.
April 8th, 2012 at 9:49 am
Stacy, stop drinking the Kool Aid and wake up. There’s a war on women going on and it’s being led by the people you are defending.
April 8th, 2012 at 9:53 am
You dems can rail all you want. But the majority supported Scott Walker for Governor and still do.
==================
What part of majority rule do you not understand? He won in a landslide public mandate and did just what we the people elected him to do. MORE Americans still support him than support ANY Other candidate:
http://www.newsmax.com/InsideCover/Newsmax-poll-ScottWalker-Wisconsin/2011/03/11/id/389161
Following are the poll questions and results. Percentages do not total 100 because of rounding:
1) Do you support Gov. Scott Walker’s efforts to reduce the power of public employee unions in his state?
Yes, I support him: 74 percent
No, I don’t support him: 25 percent
2) Do you believe public employee unions have become too powerful?
Yes, too powerful: 75 percent
No, not too powerful: 24 percent
3) Do you believe public employee union members should be paid less, the same or more than employees with similar jobs in the private sector?
Pay them the same: 83 percent
Pay them less: 11 percent
Pay them more: 4 percent
4) Do you believe President Obama was right when he came out against Gov. Walker?
Obama was right: 24 percent
Obama was wrong: 75 percent
======================
He will not be recalled because the MAJORITY doesn’t want him out.
Scott Walker for President.

April 8th, 2012 at 9:55 am
Okay women of Wisconsin it is time to stand up for ourselves and vote this clown out of office!!!
With every bill he signs (and every law he repeals) we are getting further and further behind the eightball when it comes to equal and fair treatment for women.
How much more are you willing to give up with him in office??? Let’s move Wisconsin forward by voting Walker out of office this summer!! Let’s go ladies – make you voices heard by voting!!
April 8th, 2012 at 9:57 am
While we are on the subject of Presidential candidates. “Does Romney think women should have ability to take their bosses to court to get the same pay as their male coworkers? Or does he stand with Governor Walker against this?”
It depends on the day of the week, or the temperature, or what he had for lunch, or the way the wind is blowing, or whatever.
When will people figure out that this man stands for NOTHING, he has no core beliefs. His only motivating force is to get himself elected.
.
April 8th, 2012 at 9:57 am
For the most part, it sounds like the entire Republican party. Well I guess they do stand for the richest 1%, seeing a black man fail as president, and getting elected.
April 8th, 2012 at 9:58 am
Don’t let the republicans come up for air. Vote them out of office. Remember gop, more women vote than men. Keep mouthing off and take away women’s rights!
April 8th, 2012 at 9:58 am
You fools in Wisconsin must be so proud of the way you voted.
April 8th, 2012 at 9:59 am
If anyone making under $250k a year votes Republican, they are damn fools and will deserve exactly what’s comming.
April 8th, 2012 at 10:00 am
American white women and their political conduct blow my mind.
April 8th, 2012 at 10:04 am
Oana, I agree with you. Most of us are just brainwashed, and we blindly vote against our own best interests?
April 8th, 2012 at 10:05 am
Women are being relegated to second class citizens as fast as the Republicans can make that happen. I certainly hope that all the women in this country are cognizant of this fact and vote against any Republican running for public office.
It’s sad that it’s come to this. We have a lot of real problems in this country but the Republicans are great at distracting the public from the problems they can’t solve by concentrating on unrelated issues such as women’s rights, religion, etc., etc. Sad, sad, sad. I thought this country was better than that!
April 8th, 2012 at 10:07 am
Heres the real deal, they (GOP) arent really that stupid, but blinded by the big money guys handing them billions..
Plus alot of this is driven by ALEC, go check out this fine Org. 99.99% run and driven by far right wing radicals and ofcourse highly funded by the Koch brothers.
They are writing laws for lots of states, not the people voted into office in that state, ALEC simply writes it and sends to a congressional memeber (GOP) in that state to present.
ALEC has to be stopped also !! ALEC is also highly funded by Big Corporations, so you can see why they want what they want..
Walker and many others are completely Bought and payed for, June 5th will be a big day in this country, it might just be one of the biggest days coming to STOP this take over of America, by Huge money and there bought politicians…
Women will play a huge role in this and like you I hope they are paying real attention to whats going on and use there VOTE to stop this crap….
April 8th, 2012 at 10:08 am
I’m surprised that the repubs haven’t passed a bill requiring that all women start walking 10 foot behind our men and that our heads & face have to be covered with scarfs.
April 8th, 2012 at 10:12 am
My sister married into a republican white family. Two of her brother-inlaws are Log Cabin Republicans. Gay republican for those of you not familiar with the title.
Now that is an oxymoron if ever there was one. Which goes to show that the majority of white men aren’t too bright either. Of course here in Wisconsin gay men couples get 50% more money than gay women couples.
I think I know who the gay white men are going to vote for. It’s all about the Benjamins aint it!
Marina
April 8th, 2012 at 10:12 am
The GOP just hates women. I guess they believe women are good for their pleasure when they want it.
WOMEN, vote this POS out. Make a serious change to government 2012. Some of us men like women in all facets.
From my personal experience in the workplace, they’re as deserving of the exact same pay and respect as male counterparts.
April 8th, 2012 at 10:14 am
Its sad that this level, or any level for that matter, of inequality exists, its even worse that some would destroy avenues that may help bridge this gap.
April 8th, 2012 at 10:17 am
One more piece of evidence that the GOP Tea Bagers are waging war not only on women but on the middle class, elderly, poor and the poor children after they are born.
Their hypocricy and greed is boundless.
NOW do you people who voted Republican get it???
Or has the Rove machine been so well oiled and Kool-Aid mixed so sweet that you are still blind to the machinations of this party who wants to end middle class in America?
Get a clue people!!!
April 8th, 2012 at 10:19 am
There is no attacks against women, it’s another trick Liberals use to brainwash the female population but women such as yourself certainly don’t hesitate to attack people on the side of refusing to pay for their sexual escapades….What a morality !.
April 8th, 2012 at 10:21 am
This surprises anyone? That’s what the Rebublicans are all about!
Take away money from the people to give it back to the fat-cats that own the businesses.
They’ve already stripped them of their union bargaining rights, now they want to chance the government back to when the corporations controlled everything.
People better wake up and smell the coffee before the next election, and turn OFF the Fox News that’s blaming Obama for the economy.
What the hell does Obama have to do with the way the economy is?? He inherited it from Bush! He’s been trying to fix it, but the Republicans just keep blaming the Democrats for the economy.
That’s why all these Republicans are back controlling the government again….because of all the sheep that refuse to turn OFF Fox News…and believing that Clinton caused the Economy to crash.
When Clinton left office the economy was in far better shape than it has been in for decades…unemployment was at an all-time low..gas prices were 79 cents a gallon…people were buying homes and cars and everything was going great.
Then add GW Bush into the whole mix and everything went down the drain.
April 8th, 2012 at 10:24 am
AH,the people who voted for these republicans and,tea party folk in 2010,thinking they were gonna get that obama guy,— HOW YA LIKE EM NOW?
This is why, deep down inside, I kind of hope Romney wins the white house.
Lets get it over with.
No more social security.
No medicare.
No medicade.
No middle class.
No tax on incomes above $400,000.
No unemployment.
No penalties for closing your factory and, taking the jobs to india.
And,best of all the paul ryan budget.
I WANT ROMNEY TO WIN SO THEY CAN HAVE THEIR WAY.
Then when Poland has a higher standard of living than the U.S., I can say I TOLD YOUR DUMB BEHI** THAT WASNT GONNA WORK.
Hey, but you’ve got your country back.
April 8th, 2012 at 10:29 am
BF, But wouldn’t it be better if we could achieve what we want in November by voting?
We don’t have to suffer for change all the time, do we? It’s not just the next four years we’re talking about here.
This election will be about the Supreme Court and whether the power becomes more just and balanced or whether it moves even more to the extreme right.
April 8th, 2012 at 10:30 am
Republican governors keep proving they hate working people getting a fair wage and just want to pump up their job creation numbers on false pretenses.
Whats behind that is their fat cat donors and the profits left in the difference goes to bonuses at the top. Its all just in how they tell the accountants to siphon. The Party of Sneaky.

And there are STILL women who vote for Republicans. Some people are masochists to the core. Log cabin Republicans anyone?
April 8th, 2012 at 10:31 am
You can almost bet that those women who vote Republican are the ones who ask-” Dear, who should I vote for? “
April 8th, 2012 at 10:34 am
So………What is happening to Scott Walker is what happens to politicians who campaign on one thing and do something else entirely after they get elected.
It reminds me of nearly all the republicans and some democrats who were talking about jobs, jobs, jobs when they were running for office and then after they were elected focused on reproductive rights, same sex marriage and anything else BUT jobs!
Electoral accountability is coming to the forefront because of the actions of deceitful politicians whose campaigns were fueled by the decision of a STARK controlled Supreme Court whose Citizen’s United verdict allowed limitless funds to be poured into political campaigns.
The Koch brothers have bought and paid for Scott Walker and many other politicians who have swung to the far right because the have found that that’s where the money is.
We need to act to hold these politicians accountable. The very fabric of our democracy depends on it.

Sara, I know,i know, I was just venting.
Sometimes fighting greed and, ignorance can burn you out and, then the very people who should stand with you, align with the folks who want to cut their very way of life.
I have been doing this since the mid 60s, sometimes I just marvel at the greed and, stupidity of folks and, throw my hands up.
I will recharge though and, be ready for the next outrage.

My woman as me who she should vote for as it should be. Men just know about politics than women do. They are the nurturers. We are the providers.
That was God’s will. And as we celebrate His rise to Glory. We should obey his wish to have man at the head of the household.

I am old enough to have marched in Equal Rights Amendment rallies, we fought for equal treatment of women in the workplace.
We succceded in many areas and now this jerk is trying to send us back to the dark ages. But women have to step up and claim your fault in this horrible backslide.
It seems as if more women care about their augmentations than about their financial security. Wake up and get women’s right back on track.
Don’t accept the Republican campaign to turn you into third class citizens
April 8th, 2012 at 10:44 am
I agree with you Thomas. Our Lord decided the places for men and women and we should obey His directives. I have 4 daughters and still do not want them to be firefighters, on the front lines in the military, or officers on the street because most women are not physically strong enough to do these kinds of jobs with out the standards being lowered for them to do it.
Jesus is the Father of us all and His will should be obeyed.

Maybe Walker had to sign the bill before he knew what was in it…Democrats did that with Obamacare….
April 8th, 2012 at 10:47 am
Robert, your daughters will do what they want without your prejudice. If they are strong enough to be firefighters, then they will do that.
Try coming into the 21st Century.
April 8th, 2012 at 10:48 am
UR, Obama Cares. Dems knew full well what they were signing..
April 8th, 2012 at 10:49 am
Ur, Do you know what is in Obamacare, or are you just echoing Rush Limbaugh, and the Fox News talking heads?
April 8th, 2012 at 10:50 am
Robert, So what that has nothing to do with equal pay for equal work.
We are talking all professional jobs here not just police, fire and military but engineers, chemists, managers etc.
Wake up fool!
April 8th, 2012 at 10:52 am
UR, I read the PPACA … And man… Most of it was boring and dry… I did not agree with the 1099 provision however I felt it was scrapped to readily …
I felt the market through companies like Microsoft, IBM, Staples and Office Depot would have found an easy solution to the reporting dilemma…
I also did not agree with the premium care provisions which were ultimately scrapped as fundable only through expanded enrollment …
Other than that it is the most brilliant piece of socially moral social legislation passed in the last 50 years. Well done Mr. President! …
Well done.

“I see policewoman in NYC..5ft 2 eyes are blue..I have to laugh at them when I see one.”

Being a good police officer takes more empathy than heavy lifting. Women tend to be better at empathy.
April 8th, 2012 at 10:55 am
Robert, Women police officers have to pass the SAME test that the men do. End of story.
April 8th, 2012 at 10:56 am
Women also take more time to learn their job and the skills needed for success. They downed try to bluff and power their way through.
Every time I go bowling I’m confronted with the difference. The men are busy pulverizing the pins. The women show thoughtful form.
I use to be on a ladies bowling team. When confronted with one of these pulverizing males on a date, he learned quickly that power won’t save you from getting beat by superior skill.
April 8th, 2012 at 10:58 am
Woman were meant for pleasure…Not for being a pain in the A$$!…
If you can do the same job, yea! you should get the same pay…But there are jobs woman are holding that they can’t do, and yet get the same pay….Like firefighters…
Do you really believe there doing the same job? Woman just want to be treated better, not equal…..
April 8th, 2012 at 11:00 am
I case you have not woken up yet, there are more unemployed men than women. Men have a much harder time finding good jobs than women.
I personally have been bitter seeing women getting jobs they were not qualified for, simply because they were women. This is been going on for a long time.
Women and Men are not equal in the workplace, check out the numbers.

Michelle, could you shut this down for a few minutes, I can’t do my Easter meal for the family while trying to keep up with all the comments. I liked your blog better when you kept it to 20 or less comments.
Happy Easter everyone.

UR, you sound like that disgusting legislator, Grothman who a comment that men need the money more.

RH, don’t allow bitterness to control you.

“State Sen. Dave Hansen (D-Green Bay) and Rep. Christine Sinicki (D-Milwaukee), the authors of the Equal Pay Enforcement Act, criticized Walker on Thursday for not informing the public of his actions on SB 202.”
What good does criticism do after the fact? Why not attack the actions and the man with equal vehemence? And do it BEFORE the action rather than after?
Is there no one in Wisconsin who is watching the SOB closely enough to keep the pressure on him and his fellow reactionaries to prevent this kind of oppressive and draconian politics from continuing?
Does anyone know what other stealth measures are being undertaken by the conservatives in Wisconsin ahead of the recall vote? I doubt it.

If woman wants equal rights…Then If a woman slaps a man, does the man have the same equal right to slap her back?…Don’t forget were talking about equal rights….
April 8th, 2012 at 11:09 am
UR, go back to your cave, seriously.
