Give Him 4 More Years
Posted by Michelle Moquin on November 1st, 2012
Good morning!
In 2008 Obama had lots of young and first time voters who voted for him. I remember the energy and the excitement like it was yesterday – it was contagious and so inspiring to be a part of. There was so much positivity and frankly many, at least in the Bay Area, were just sick of Bush and his administration, and desperately wanted change. So HOPE was high and the enthusiasm for change was at a peak.
That change and HOPE is still there as Dems shout “4 more years”. Not that Romney wouldn’t bring change – he certainly would. But you can forget HOPEing that the changes he makes will be in any positive way for the 99% and certainly not for that 47%, if he succeeds in winning the presidency.
So my focus on this election has been on the women and encouraging women to vote with the only candidate who gives a damn about us. I’ve even expressed how women can say to their friends and family if need be, that they are for Romney. But then when once they are in that voting booth alone, to vote for Obama. Thankfully, the response from many of you was “Yes! That is what I am going to do”.
But as I mentioned in my opening, In 2008 Obama had lots of young and first time voters. I haven’t spoken much about them here, and I have read some conflicting articles. Quite a few say young voters are discouraged and they are not planning on voting, while others say that there is a surge above and beyond 2008 in early turnout among young voters.
I don’t know what the truth is. But, I can feel the different energy in the air. Perhaps it is because this election is so crucial, and many are feeling HOPEless. All I can say is if you voted for Obama in 2008, I am encouraging you to do the same on November 6th. The HOPE is still there…the changes are going to be big but you need to play your part and vote.
I posted a write a few days ago how Repubs stick with each other no matter what. We Dems need to do the same same. This is not the election to decide to pass on voting. Any dem not voting is a vote for the repubs. It’s the same same for any Indy. It’s as simple as that.
And, for those of you who voted for Obama in 2008 and somehow think Romney is going to have your back if he takes the white house, you couldn’t be more wrong. I can’t stress how bad off we would be as a country. We would certainly go backwards, and in my opinion, to a place that no one but the 1% wants to be.
Obama is the man for change – the change that you and me want. He is the only one who cares and inspires HOPE for all Americans, and is certainly the only one who truly cares about women. Give him 4 more years.
So if you are a young voter who voted for Obama in 2008 and are thinking of changing your vote to Romney, think again, study the facts, and stick with Obama, and vote dem all the way. If you are a young or first time voter don’t think that not voting won’t matter because it does. A no vote is handing your vote over to the repubs. Do what the repubs do - stick together, and vote dem no matter what.
Romney is an LSOS who will do and say anything to get your vote. Don’t do it.
Obama with coattails will do what he could never do before because he won’t have the party of no against every move he makes. This will be Obama’s last term so you know he will go balls out for the betterment of all.
HOPE for a better country is not enough – you must go to the polls and vote for Obama. Give him 4 more years.

Sorry about the disconnect. I had to rush off. Will call you later. And yes, I didn’t get all I wanted either.
But there is always tomorrow.

Romney is what the country needs now
Dear Fellow Conservative,
The single most important issue in this election is ending the national nightmare of Obamacare.
If Obamacare if not stopped, it will permanently change the political culture of this country. There will be no going back. America will become a less productive, less wealthy nation.

Check Your Phone Bill…You May Have Been “Crammed”
You could end up being charged for a service on your monthly mobile phone bill even though you never asked for it. This practice, called “cramming,” occurs when a provider other than your phone company supplies you with ringtones, sports scores, weather updates, horoscopes and/or other unwanted services, and your phone company adds a charge to your bill, typically several dollars.
(With landlines, cramming usually shows up as a line item for “miscellaneous” or “enhanced” services.) The phone company keeps a portion of the revenue. Although three major telephone companies—AT&T, CenturyLink and Verizon—have agreed to end most third-party billing for landlines by the end of this year (and some have already done so), they will continue for wireless and smaller landline providers unless you opt out.
Self-defense: Call your phone company now, and request that all third-party providers be blocked. Review your phone bills every month for surprise charges, often listed as “service charge,” “other fees,” “calling plan” or “membership.”
Also, avoid calling “900” numbers, accepting anonymous collect calls and signing up for contests online via your cell phone, all common methods that vendors use to cram you.
If you do get crammed, call your service provider and demand a refund.
